I complained that my Hermes? package had been left half a mile from my home in the street behind someone?s car. A chap kindly brought it round to me. I emailed the company and a very nice lady called Laura acknowledged my email saying that she had escalated it to her manager who hasn?t bothered to respond with an acknowledgement at least. The goods are fine but I won?t use the company again.

I am sorry you were not happy with your experience. As promised the situation was escalated by the Customer Care Manager to the carriers in order to draw the unsatisfactory manner of delivery to their attention. The Customer Care Team

The selection of lights on the website was very good which allowed me to get exactly what was needed. The company kept me up to date informing me that orders could be subject to delay. Nevertheless, all 21 items arrived super quick and in 1 well packed up box. I did not go for cheap lights and was very impressed with the quality of the goods. Overall customer service and quality of goods definitely deserved 5 stars.

There was no problem with delivery of lamp and of lamp itself but it did not look right in my lounge . I therefore needed to return it and that is when the problems started . You cannot spk to anyone in person it is all by email. They deal with Hermes for returns and i was promised a collection 7 days ago. I have left several messages with Lighting direct explaining that I am still waiting and now they are not responding . I am now in a situation where I am struggling to get in contact with both Lighting direct and Hermes . Therefore it seems to me that they are happy to take your money but not give refunds . I will not be shopping with this company again .

I am very sorry there has been a delay with your collection. Hermes routinely collect returns on our behalf however during these Covid-19 months some delays have occurred. We will contact you directly with a view to getting the collection arranged as quickly as possible using a different carrier if necessary.
