“The order was initially easy to place, the product came in good time, intact, and delivery was seamless even though I was not in. They did not charge me a ridiculous price despite the odd shape of the item. Included instructions allowed me to 'self-service'. Conclusion: I will recommend and do business with you again”

“Decent enough replacement of LED from old fluorescent tubes. Great brighter white light from LED. (see difference from original fluorescent start light up slowly compared to instant LED in attached video). Given they are not glass like old tubes, they do sag slightly as they are plastic or composite material which is not rigid. These tube are not a simple swap out replacement! The website does mention that they require bypassing of the 'control gear' (ballast unit). Not a straight forward job unless you are an electrician or competent DIYer. No instructions supplied but understandable given there are so many different types of units. My units do not have starters (they supply LED starters with the tubes if you require them). I tried various things (wasting hours) before calling Lampsonline, they confirmed I would have to rewire a feed directly to one end only. I also disconnected the original small and thin push fit wires completely. I eventually managed to figure out how to remove the small wires and use 1mm 2 core lighting cable to rewire supply. Overall, I am happy with these tubes but in hindsight, I wish I had bought complete new units as this would have been so much quicker! LT”

“Very happy with LampShopOnline, they stock a great range of now less-common fluorescent tubes and bulbs at very reasonable price points. The delivery process was quick and efficient, although there was one breakage when my order arrived (almost naturally with the products being quite fragile). Customer service by email was very good and issued a stronger packaged replacement without any fuss on next-day delivery. Great service from a strong retailer, what's not to like? Will definitely be purchasing from them again in future. Edit: Despite further issues with the replacement that was received (item looked undamaged but faulty), LampShop promptly sent a further replacement on next day delivery which has arrived in tact and fully functional. Thoroughly impressed with the issue resolution from these guys, other stores should be taking notes.”
