“I really like my slippers but I was very disappointed to see that they are made in China.”

“The boots were great, except the style didn't suit my feet; they were too loose around the ankles. They just weren't comfortable; so I was disappointed not to be reimbursed for using the "registered post" (as requested) to send them back. This cost me just over £11.00, which included insurance. This has put me off from buying footwear online.”

“The jacket I bought is fabulous soft leather, and the style lovely. Unfortunately it hasn’t been sewn together with much care. My jacket has a bottom ‘skirt’ with studs which has been sewn on crookedly so the studs disappear. Also a couple of studs missing on the front. Production & quality control issues spoil a beautiful jacket.”

“Well, very sadly and annoyingly, the driving gloves didn't fit like a glove. A big square thumb with a baggy gusset between thumb and first finger ruined what would have been a perfect pair. Sent back for a refund which was processed quickly.”

“I absolutely love the black centre zip biker jacket however I’ve had to score you a 3 because the zip was faulty and I’ve had to return the jacket for an exchange. I was so disappointed to find that the zip would not work as I really wanted the jacket for this weekend. Instead I’ve had to pay out £6.57 on postage to send it back and wait for a replacement to be sent to me. To be honest I cannot understand how it passed quality control and would appreciate your feedback on this matter.”

“I purchased a size 7 pair of leather calf boots for the winter. While the faux fur lining makes these very warm, the size was a big disappointment. I realised after walking a little while, that the boots keep slipping because there’s so much room in the boot especially around the ankle area. My feet are a size 7 to 7 and a half usually. So it’s definitely not the case that my feet are on the small side. I’m now stuck with a pair of boots which don’t fit right, and I know I won’t be allowed to return them since I wore them outside.”

“Unfortunately parcel not delivered as stated on website. Ordered before 1pm yet on discussion with customer service the following day the parcel had not left the warehouse. Very disappointed as this was a present and when I ordered the item I was assured that it would be posted out the same day.”

“I ordered the black boots online as was in Bowness last week and saw th the boots for £59.99in lakeland leather they was £39.99 at lakeland leather online! I didn't realise till after it worn them that one of the boots is faded and looks like it's been blacked up on the front. They wasn't even in the correct box, it was another style scribbled out! I've thrown the packaging away so can't return them!”

“The jacket looks beautiful, however the smell is terrible. Its hanging on the balcony for already week and smell is not getting any better. If it smell doesn't go away it will be practicly non wearable.”

“Unfortunately the bag we received had an issue with the zip so has had to be returned. My Mum has arthritis in her hands and couldn’t manage the zip. I emailed customer services who were helpful and polite so it will be returned shortly.”

“The socks are nice, good size, fit and cute design. I bought them to go with some I have had a few years and the quality has definitely dropped. My old ones were much thicker and felt like they had more stretch. They've lasted years but I can't see these new ones lasting very long they feel a lot thinner and not as robust. A shame as they aren't cheap!”

“Got a superb jacket online at a good sale price. Two of the three buckle fasteners were very sharp, but I managed to smooth them with a file. The computer system wouldn't let me create an account due to a fault. (Click and collect order, so didn't really need to in the end).”
