I purchased a size 7 pair of leather calf boots for the winter. While the faux fur lining makes these very warm, the size was a big disappointment. I realised after walking a little while, that the boots keep slipping because there’s so much room in the boot especially around the ankle area. My feet are a size 7 to 7 and a half usually. So it’s definitely not the case that my feet are on the small side. I’m now stuck with a pair of boots which don’t fit right, and I know I won’t be allowed to return them since I wore them outside.
