“A very nice jacket, but the experience has been diminished by a couple of avoidable issues: the hanging loop broke at the first attempt to use it, and the subsequent repair was delivered to the wrong address. Hopefully, the ownership experience will be better from now on.”

“I ordered a glasses case online to collect in-store. when I went to the store after they phoned me to let me know it had arrived they wanted the order number before I could collect the item. They did not inform me I needed to give the order number either online or on the phone. After some awkwardness they allowed me to collect the item if I could prove my identity and sign for the item. I think this process needs to be looked at and clarified.”

“Beautiful bag but very disappointed with the packaging of it. The bag had been so tightly folded that the leather was getting creased. This is a 21 st birthday present for our grandson so we have had to stuff it with towels to straighten the leather out.”

“Order received promptly. Very happy with sheepskin boot slippers and leather pouch with mirror, both good quality and value for money. However, very disappointed with Millie scarf which was on sale at a good price but item received had 2 distinct flaws and should not have passed quality control. Now returned, awaiting refund of initial cost. Would expect return postage cost to be refunded also, given faulty goods.”

“I bought leather jacket recently and the inner lining on the left side was exposed due to loose stitching. Contacted lakeland but received no response and is been over 3 weeks now. Since it's on the inside I can live with it however I would not expect this type of poor quality for the price point of these leather jackets.”

“I cannot fault the service of Lakeland. My item was delivered incredibly promptly with plenty of updates along the way. It was also great value for money as I had a discount code which encouraged me to order. Sadly though I will be returning the jacket I purchased. The leather itself had such a sheen that it looked almost fake and the hardware was also far too shiny with butterflies on, which isn’t very in keeping with the look of a biker jacket, which in my mind should be quite rugged and masculine.”

“Several small abrasions of the superficial brown leather that reveal the white layer underneath. Otherwise very nice Courier tried delivery at wrong address (with photo of wrong building) while I was waiting at home. I ended up walking half an hour to collect it at the not so near collection point.”

“Appears to be strange situation. Requesting a review before I have even picked up my item. Would be more appreciable if the same effort was put into store delivery. I was in Carlisle last week but email said I was to pick up on the 12th. Not done the 50+ mile round trip yet. Lady in Carlisle store was very pleasant on the phone. unfortunately item not in store stock.”

“I found it difficult to process the order via Klarna and when I rand Web support for help they were not very helpful and I was not made to feel like a customer more of a nuisance. The female member of staff just iterated the process and more or less inferred it was not Lakeland Leather’s problem but Klarna. We’ll forgive me but I thought I was buying a Lakeland product and not a Klarna product!!”

“I loved my boots but they didn’t fit. I had to return them. I was a little shocked to find out that there was no free returns and the company advice is to return it tracked with cost me nearly £7 For this reason only I won’t use the company again.”

“Very disappointed in the packaging. I bought a cross body handbag, a week-end hold-all, a jumper and a make up bag. All the items were in plastic bags with each one having a big rip in them. Makes me wonder if these were returns?”

“Ordered on line and wasn’t happy as they looked to have been worn maybe due to x shop display . Returned them and now have another pair that I will probably keep but disappointed in the way the leather is badly wrinkled on the left one seen in photo, not good for such a expensive slipper. .”
