The replacement which arrived was also damaged. Still waiting for 2nd replacement. This is now approaching 3 months from when we originally raised the issue of rusting with John Lewis

Communication poor from staff, e-mails /phone calls answered by various members of staff also, no coordination between Kettler team.

We purchased a companion set complete with matching cushions and parasol. The table had a hole to accommadate the parasol. The item went rusty and we claimed on the 5 year Kettler guarentee which Kettler accepted as faulty. On speaking to the customer service advisor they agreed to replace the item but the replacement would not accommadate the parasol so we asked if they would provide a parasol base to overcome this problem as a gesture of goodwill and to make the replacement like for like. They refused so we were left with a parasol which we could not use with the replacement set. Kettler referred us back to Notcutts where we had purchased it from who agreed with us the need for a base and discussed the matter with Kettler without success. The outcome was Notcutts provided us with a base as a token of goodwill. For customer service Notcutts 10 Kettler NIL. We will not be purchasing Kettler products in future.

The Kettler garden furniture does not last very long. The umbrellas we had fell apart within a year and the chairs we purchased have all rusted within 5years or less. The table is holding up a little better.

I ordered two Kettler products, believing them to be a quality company. Paros 8-Seater Dining Set - Original Delivery, then 3 deliveries of replacement chairs. Faulty or missing screw assemblies. Had to stay at home all day awaiting deliveries each time as no time slot given and the considerable time taken to assemble replacements each time, then connect Kettler to inform them of poor manufacturing and quality control Paros 4-Seater Lounge Set - Set arrived with 5 legs the same and 1 leg totally different, so could not complete the assembly of the lounge set. Again had to repack sofa for collection and replacement to be received, waiting in all day for delivery, then assemble again. Noticed paint chip on replacement, touch up paint sent, totally different colour. Again poor manufacturing and quality control. I deal with Zak in Customer Services, but Kettler Customer Service strategy seems to be Collect/Replace the faulty part(s) until you get one that you can assemble, but not getting to the root cause of the problem. I seem to be doing the quality control for them, as part of my continual assembly of their products! This does not create happy customers or increases customer satisfaction. I always though Kettler was a quality company, my belief has considerable changed. I shall not be promoting Kettler products.

Waited a considerable amount of time from rasing the complaint to receiving the replacements which were also faulty and then I had to endure the first faulty set just sitting in my garden in this massive box getting wetter and wetter by the weeks, waiting for it to be collected. The next replacement items had a lengthy wait also because they where waiting for new stock to arrive. This whole process has taken months upon months to be resolved. Not to mention the inconvenience of too many phone conversations too, also customer services calling and not really having a clue to what was going on. No gestures of goodwill either for all the inconvenience and upheaval I’ve endured. Not great all round really.

Kettler did replace our mesh chairs ,but we are on our 3rd replacements and they are going rusty , after being told by Kettler they had loved the problem , not happy .

Disappointed that original chair was quite badly rusted after one year. We bought two pots of Kettler paint, at some expense, to attempt the repair ourselves but needed far more paint so we lodged a warranty claim. The replacement arrived only last Friday, many weeks later and too late for the summer weather. So overall, not a happy experience.

Garden dining set. The whole set suffered from severe rusting despite been covered and stored inside during the winter. The whole claim process took 5 months despite us following the claims procedure to the letter. We had numerous (5) failed deliveries meaning taking time away from work. We were constantly chasing Kettler for updates. The replacement set look and feel cheap compared to our original set. Time will tell !! We were even congratulated on receiving our replacement set the day after advising them of damaged components. Good luck

Sorry Kettler but the truth is that your furniture is lovely and very comfortable and at this stage appears to be well made. However, the cheap packing materials and method of distribution is extremely poor. Palma Round set delivered with additional recliners, packing on sofas damaged and rattan was ripped. Took a long time to organise replacement of the whole set was advised to take the table apart to be returned yet nothing was wrong with this item. Replacement sent but no table so had to reassemble. Replacement sofas suffered same damage yet again, should be packed individually not two in one box !! Fortunately the delivery team were so bad they had no room for the collection so had to return later in the day allowing me time to make up one good set out of the two bad ones but with a slight colour variance. A modest compensation offered and accepted but would of preferred to have my order correct first time around without all the hassle. You sell a quality product so use better packing materials and delivery people who care as much about the product as you appear to.

Kettler GB Ltd. have not made me happy at all. If anything I have lost confidence in Kettler garden furniture. we purchased a set over 20 years ago and passed this set onto my son and it is still brand new. BUT!!!! as we have downsized we bought a new set called the Henley range and this is the third set. I believe the company was bought out and promised the same quantity of Thermoguard coating...This is not the case...as they are keep rusting soon after I receive them...I have just received 3 new chairs and a new table....LETS KEEP FINGERS CROSSED!!!!! Not very hopeful..

My daughter had bought kettler outdoor furniture about 10 years ago. Webought some five years ago over that period we had have the extending table replaced also all the chairs some twice because of rust. Fair play all items were replaced promptly.

First set of furniture (which had 10 year warranty) started rusting at 3 years and was replaced. Replacement set now rusting at ....3 years. We bought Kettler based on my parents set which is 20 years old with no rusting. It seems that the shift of manufacturing to China has reduced the quality, and Kettler now seem to have reduced the warranty accordingly. Not happy!

Having bought what we thought was a rust free product, we have twice had to have chairs replaced that have rusted. They have been replaced without any problems, but it would have been better if the product had lived up to its promise of not rusting. Having had our latest chairs replaced this year we just hope that should we be in this situation yet again that we will have the items changed again without any issues.
