We purchased a companion set complete with matching cushions and parasol. The table had a hole to accommadate the parasol. The item went rusty and we claimed on the 5 year Kettler guarentee which Kettler accepted as faulty. On speaking to the customer service advisor they agreed to replace the item but the replacement would not accommadate the parasol so we asked if they would provide a parasol base to overcome this problem as a gesture of goodwill and to make the replacement like for like. They refused so we were left with a parasol which we could not use with the replacement set. Kettler referred us back to Notcutts where we had purchased it from who agreed with us the need for a base and discussed the matter with Kettler without success. The outcome was Notcutts provided us with a base as a token of goodwill. For customer service Notcutts 10 Kettler NIL. We will not be purchasing Kettler products in future.
