Really upset, I paid for my travel insurance straight away, you took it from the bank the next day. I did not receive my documents via e-mail, I telephoned several days later the young man I spoke to they would be sent to me by post. I still have not received them. Very disappointing, I have used the company before, but now thinking I will not use it again. Please would you kindly look into this for me. Mrs. Cash

Hi Mrs Cash, We sincerely apologise that you were upset at some of the questions we had to ask during screening. Unfortunately the questions are set by the medical screening company and are essential to enable the insurers to assess the risk and return a price for cover. Disappointed that whilst choosing to stay with yourselves, my premium was more expensive that last year for the same cover. I will look to move to another provider next time.

Rates do vary between the insurance companies that are on our panel and can go up as well as down due to a number of factors including the amount of claims made over a particular time frame. An increase in claims (amongst other things) will invariably lead to marginal increases in rates across the travel insurance sector. The benefit of dealing with us is that we will compare multiple insurers for you to find the best price we can for your own requirements at the time. As mentioned rates can fluctuate so please don’t hesitate to call us next time you need cover and once again we will search our panel of A rated insurers for you. The questions were either black or white - and no follow up. Some companies ask questions further as to medication and further treatment which determine the state of the condition. Not impressed.

During our medical screening procedure, we ask a standard medical declaration following by specific screening questions based on the medical conditions declared. All medical conditions have set medical screening questions to ensure that all customers are treated fairly. I tried to get cover for myself and wife (two separate policies) and it became a nightmare. I had to pay twice, on the same card, the when I wanted the info sent by "E" mail I was told it could only be done for me, not my wife as she was on the same "E" mail address as me!!! Same as last year when everything was sent through, no problem. When my info came I found it impossible to navigate the password procedure etc to download the onfo. Same problem with the wife's info. I gave our next door's "E" mail address - same problem with password etc!! What a performance. Have now asked for all info for both policies to be sent by post. So much for efficiency and confidentiality. Not an experience I want to go through again. Still waiting for the post by the way!!

Hi Mr Bingham, Thank you for taking time to leave us feedback. I apologise you have experienced difficulty setting up the online account to retrieve your policy documents and glad to see you have now received these in the post. The policy documents for your wife are on their way, as discussed during my telephone conversation with her this afternoon. If you purchase individual travel insurance policies you must provide a unique email address so that we can create an online account for you and upload your documents to it. Once activated you can login and access these documents at any time. You would not be able to buy a policy for someone else using your account details (email address) as each client account is linked to unique email address for security reasons and to prevent fraud in line with a recent change in legislation. We do offer couple and family policies where two or more people can be insured on the same policy – this would only produce one set of documents and as such would be uploaded into one account. Thank you for your feedback - we have reported your experience to our IT department who will look to see how we can improve this journey for clients in the future. The online quote did not add up correctly, the telephone number quoted by my email address was not mine, and I had to make several telephone calls to Just Travel in order to have the query resolved, which I am still waiting for confirmation?!

I did not receive any documents by email so Rang and spoke to someone who said they would send again , still have not received anything and am worried as I leave soon.

It's difficult to tell you how you did, since I haven't yet received any email confirmation that my travel insurance has actually been purchased. Having spent the necessarily long time going through the process of obtaining a quote, and having checked how long that quote would be valid for, I needed to discuss it with others involved in the cover. Phoning back a short while later, having given the reference for my quote, I discover that the information is not on the system and I had to start all over again. It was an unsatisfactory experience.

I booked travel to Shropshire in 18th December last but the policy was covering Southern Ireland not England presumably at an extra cost to me. As it was for five days only I decided to go on holiday and forget Just Travel.

We received one phone call to discuss our renewal which was inconvenient and arranged a call back. The call back did not come and it tool three further phone calls to actually speak to someone to agree our renewal. Not impressed.
