Got quote for about £30 had to give an for two miner things jump up £47 phone back to accep quote and was told it was£57 and with the discontent still not come to £47 I had to forward the email to them got a phone call to say the £47 quote had not show up on there system but they found it and will give it a that price

During my conversation this morning I found one of the staff's attitude of not being friendly and helpful. I paid for original policy documents to be sent by post and I received poor quality photocopies. The policy schedule states destination "worldwide" I wanted it to clearly state "worldwide including USA and Canada." An email confirming this would suffice but has not received it. All insurance companies provide a plastic credit card size with emergence telephone numbers but was told that you don't provide.

We have arranged to send a fresh copy of your policy in the post to you along with confirmation that your policy covers travel Worldwide including USA and Canada (I have also sent a copy of this to you via email - please check your spam/junk folder). By law we are required to run through the questions again if there are 30 days between quotes. Shouldn't accept a application take the payment then tell us that company won't accept us then make us wait for the payment to be refunded

I can see that your initial policy was cancelled as the insurers terms did not meet your requirements. We contacted you to advise on this and managed to place you with another one of our insurers. I spent ages on the phone. When eventually connected, I was passed to someone else with an even longer wait! The constant repeated over and over and over talk on your voice machine drove me mad, including the speech about going on a cruise 30 times plus. Why not just say it once or twice, rather than driving people mad with repeating the same speeches? All you need is a bit of quiet background music. I don't think I could go through the process again, especially when talking to a girl who had no welcome or cheerfulness when talking.

When the policy was emailed three mistakes which had to be rectified. Very much pressure selling by your sales advisor. Would not wait and within ten minutes of purchasing the insurance another email came through to me reminding me of the 15 per cent discount available to me, which I have lost as already purchased the insurance, and he would not look for the discount code. I have used you about four times now and this was my worst experience, the consultants name was Anthony.

A harrying experience lasting some 15 minutes with the operator trying to sell me additional cover and going through the cover i had chosen when all i wanted to do was pay for the cover that had been quoted and accepted.Next time i require insurance i will contact another company.

Tried to change risk from A to B. Each time it failed to find any quotes and lost the data I had entered. Had to re-enter three times from scratch to complete the task. A fourth time would have seen me heading off to Staysure.

Initial phone call led to questions I couldn't answer so that I had to pay for a copy of my medical records, despite having insured with you twice before and no changes. It had been totally straight forward last year. When we did it on Saturday it emerged I didn't need the medical records after all. I trru d to do it in line but the site kept freezing. My documents haven't been e mailed to me yet so I will need to follow that up.

You sent me my policy out in the post. Upon receipt I rang you to advise my name was spelt incorrectly. I was advised this would be amended and an a correct policy would be forwarded to me by email or post, this hasn't been received to date and I go on holiday tomorrow so not satisfactory.

I tried to purchase insurance and had to ring up as I had a medical issue to disclose. I am due to have a procedure to correct a foot deformity, cause unknown, but possibly due to arthritis , but no one can say for certain. The person I spoke to said I couldn't have any insurance unless I disclosed what condition I had. It didn't matter how many times I explained I didn't have a condition, and cause of deformity unknown...she would not budge from her script. As I was travelling in the next day or so, I didn't have time to try other companies. I had to ask for her manager, who was much better and saw common sense, so I could get insured, but I was 40 mins on the phone, which made me late for a meeting, so I was probably quite short and getting frustrated with her. I have used you lots of times, and always found your customer service very good and your insurance value for money, so I will use you again, but was not happy this time.

Was not told at the start that your panel of insurers did not 'do' multi trip policies for over 75's. Wasted three quarters of an hour on phone. Single trip policies VERY expensive. Medical questions very intrusive and focused too much on past problems that had been SORTED.

You are right that the terms of our insurers does sate that the upper age limit on annual policies is 75, (there is no upper age limit on single-trip policies), and we apologise that you weren’t told at the beginning of the call. This is standard practice with new quotes for annual policies, and we will of course pass your feedback to our customer service team. It is disappointing to read that you found the medical questions intrusive – naturally we need to screen customers to try and ensure the right level of cover is offered. The medical questions are standard as per a universal platform used by the majority of travel insurance but again we do apologise that you felt these questions were intrusive and I will relay this information to our platform provider.
