Bought HP inks but HP Printer 'told me ' they were not genuine HP. Printer broke down. HP not interested as I did not use genuine HP inks. Scrapped printer and had to buy a new one.

The use of remanufactured or compatible cartridges will not affect your printer's warranty. All printer manufacturers would like you to use their cartridges and may give the impression that if you don't your warranty will be invalidated - but this is not the case, Ink cartridges are a consumable item there is a legislation that prohibit companies from voiding warranties when an end user wants to use a third-party laser toner or inkjet cartridge that has not been made by that company. All our remanufactured/compatible toners are fully guaranteed, just like the originals are, and if found to be faulty can be returned and replaced within days at no extra cost to the end user.

Have been a customer for years and service has always been great. That has not changed. However, I recently bought some "Canon compatible " cartridges to save some money. They are re-filled genuine Cannon, but run out very quickly, some are leaking on arrival, ink supply is poor. False economy. To be fair, I have not brought this up with Internet ink for them to respond. I will probably continue to use them, but genuine ink only for me in future.

It is common to get a low ink or empty warning when using remanufactured cartridges as the print head contains electrical contacts that communicate with your printer. Because the cartridge is being reused your printer thinks that you have inserted an old ‘empty’ cartridge. Unfortunately there is no way to reset this information however I can assure you that the cartridges are fully checked and tested before they are dispatched. However if your Canon printer has come to a halt because of the error message, then please press and hold the reset button for 15 – 20 seconds or until your printer carriage starts to move. (you will not have to do this again) The only disadvantage to remanufactured cartridges is that you will not get any indication of when the ink is running out. However we would advise simply keeping a spare cartridge in stock and checking the quality of your prints when they begin to fade then you know it’s time for a new cartridge. Should you have any further problems then please do not hesitate to contact me again. Having been a "valued customer" for years using your website I have recently had no success in ordering. Having placed an order I could find no way to change the quantity prior to check out. I'm not computer illiterate, but had to telephone and speak to a member of staff to place my order. Your service otherwise is top class, but with this kind of ordering difficulty I may have to look elsewhere in the future. Colin Ball doreenandcolin@talktalk.net

Up to now the service has been very good. Unfortunately compatibles were sent this time so I had to send them back. The returns label was incomplete so a wasted journey and wait at the post office resulted (there was no postcode on the returns slip) The email about delivery came too late on Thursday morning as we had left the house by then. The package was left in our recycling bin and almost went with the Friday morning collection!

I have just replaced the black cartridge and my Epson printer has registered that the cartridge was NOT a genuine original. Is the printer wrong or or you selling cheap copies?

Hi, I have taken a look at your order and you have purchased the taster pack! Epson T1816 Original & Compatible XL Twin Pack - 8 Inks Within this pack you will have received a full set of original Epson cartridges & a full set of Epson compatibles (Non Genuine)! Please do not mix compatibles with originals please use one or the other it will cause a memory conflict on your printer and the cartridges will show as not recognised. If you have any other concerns please contact our customer support team on 08006120874

Epsom compatible inks were brilliant BUT a recent HP Envy 4500 compatible refill (black) has been a real disappointment. I am following your advice to place the cartridge into warm water every time it fails to print. But this should not be necessary if the cartridge was functioning correctly. I hope the new compatible cartridge I have bought will not give so many problems.

Put the new Cyan colour in printer, it was so messy(probably overfull) as it was all over the place. Any recommendations for getting ink off of the fingers?

Thank you for leaving a review. The 364XL Ink cartridges have a a ‘pull’ label and if this is not removed 1st and the cap at the bottom is removed first then the pull label last, then this will cause the ink to flood out it has the same effect as putting your finger over a straw full of liquid. The vacuum stops the liquid escaping.

I have used only two of the cartridges so far, unfortunately the yellow was rejected by my printer. (Epsom) I was unable to use the printer. If other inks supplied have the same result, what is your policy on returns? Richard Beeson

Often compatible cartridge get blamed for being faulty when that is not often the case, In fact by far the greatest number of calls we get from customers relates to cartridges not being recognised or memory conflicts. They don’t happen all that often but when they do occur, all you need to simple do is reset your printer. So why does your printer state the cartridges are not recognised? This is where the printer ‘remembers’ the previous type of cartridge that was installed and is confused by the change. This can cause recognition faults, which as it happens are easily rectified. But in some circumstances, the printer can assume the wrong ink levels and this has a couple of possible consequences: 1. If the printer thinks a cartridge holds less ink than it does, then you will be told it is empty when it is still 2/3 full. This is obviously annoying and a waste of ink. Since our cartridges always hold more than the originals (and in some cases 3 or 4 times as much) you want to avoid this. 2. The flip side is that if you continue printing out of sync then you eventually get to a point where the printer thinks there is more left in the cartridge then there actually is. In this case, the printer will keep trying to print after the cartridge is empty. When a printer tells you to replace a cartridge, there should be a little bit of ink left in the bottom so that the flow of ink is maintained. If the printer continues printing when a cartridge is bone-dry, then air is sucked into the ink line and creates a blockage. This is easily recognised: when a cartridge needs replacing, the first you should know about it is the message from the printer. If during a print-run you see a deterioration in quality first then the cartridge has completely run out of ink and the printer is starting to suck on air. And once you get an air bubble in the ink line it can be a pain to get rid of so you really want to avoid doing this. All of our products are covered by a 12 month guarantee. http://www.internet-ink.com/returns-policy

I am not pleased with these re-filled ink cartridges as they seem to come to me having leaked ink somehow. The leakage is slight but irritating. I still feel these cartridges are expensive as the plastic is re-cycled and the ink does not last very long..That said...we all need ink for our printers and you provide a good service and I can print from my computer! Many Thanks. Tim Clynick

My address was wrongly recorded online and i managed to find the inks after some difficulty as they had been sent to 1a Hendra Vale instead of 15a Hendra Vale. I may have entered the address wrongly, for which I am responsible. However, a cross check with previous orders could prevent an error however caused.

I am sorry to hear that your address was incorrectly entered. Unfortunately once an order has been accepted it is then automatically printed off onto the dispatch table to be picked and packed. The dispatch team are only able to check for missing information on address and not incorrect addresses as they have no information to cross check this with.

The ink cartridges failed to work in my printer, I inserted these correctly but there was no ink as I printed a test sheet. I therefore had to purchase 2 new other HP cartridges from a local retailer which did work. Internet Ink has let me down this was very frustrating as I rely on my printer for business purposes.

The quick response and delivery was excellent but the color printing was frankly rubbish although i do not know whether this was due to the ink not being genuine Epson R300 ink and some how the cartridge senses this and does not reproduce the correct colors. I tried several times to clean the printer heads and completed nozzle checks without any change in quality, every summer photograph turns out in autumn colors ( green to brown).
