Too many ink cartridges are not compatible with my printers. Trying an alternative.

I have had a mixed experience with re-manufactured HP301 cartridges in the past. Recently I purchased a colour and black XP cartridge from InternetInk. I needed the black straight away but it showed a fault immediately. I was sent a replacement within 24 hours. Very good. It started off ok but the next day...no ink. I followed the advice on the web site & fiddled with wet tissue etc to get the ink to flow but it would only work for a few hours. I gave up and bought a genuine HP and no problems since. It's simply not worth the hassle. I'll reluctantly stay with HP cartridges.

I ordered 3 HP 920 XL Compatible Black Ink Cartridges, only used one as the other two ink was pouring out when twisted the orange lever causing mess on my hand and once on my trousers.

It is easy to forget to remove a ‘pull’ label and this has the same effect as putting your finger over a straw full of liquid. The vacuum stops the liquid escaping. When the orange lever is taken off first the air pressure will forcefully push out the ink.

Though I am not a big customer I do expect the product to be fit for purpose. I purchase comparable ink from I. k. And have done for a while. My last purchase failed to work. I contacted customer service and explained the cartridge appeared to be empty as it would not print. I was told this would be due to an "airlock" and was told to wrap the cartridge in a tissue,shake it vigorously., and this would cure the problem. This I did, and it worked. What I was not told was that I would have to repeat this exercise each and every time I wanted to print a document. This is totally unsatisfactory as not only am I still wasting tissues, wasting ink, and getting arm ache, my main concern is that when I want to print a document I have no guarantee it will work . It certainly does not make shopping online with Internet Ink a thing of convenience and ease. Jim Eason

All our ink cartridges have a 12 month guarantee, and we do not sell cartridges that are not compatible for there means. have checked your order details and there are no notes, so I can only assume that you have not previously notified us of this issue. On two occasions i have purchased Lexmark 43/45 compatible cartridges First on would not be recognised by the printer, and the second one does not print in red, despite me cleaning it and running it under warm water Black one ordered at the same time works fine

After hardly using my printer I had a problem printing in colour as the colours were very pale, not vivid. They have been very erratic since, I can never be sure that I will get a good result. I will monitor from now on to see what happens, but I am not convinced that I made a good decision when I bought the ink, although at the time it seemed like a good buy Sorry but this is how I found the product. I tried ordering some time ago for a Canon Printer. The order was dealt with well but the inks proved NOT to be compatible. I am trying again now, this time for a HP Printer in the hope that things go better! Fingers crossed. Julian

I can confirm your order was dispatched on time by first class post, this is not guaranteed next day delivery and you need to allow a few days. If however it your order fails to arrive we do need to be notified.

Great write up regarding your site. However disappointed that the catridge when it arrived had leaked over the envelope. However good customer service and promptly received a new catridge. Really not convinced that the ink catridges are holding the amount specified.

All of our cartridge containing the ink amount specified, we have no reason to scrimp on the amount of ink inside a cartridge. A few ml's here and there really doesn't make any difference to profit margins. I can fully assure you that our cartridge contain what they say they do otherwise that would be false advertising. Internet-Ink has not been in the ink trade for over 10 years by cutting corners. I hope once you have exhausted the cartridge this will be reflected.

The ink works OK except a for a couple of things: 1. A small amount had leaked into the plastic shrink wrap. 2. After a few prints I had to clean the ink nozzle on the printer.

I have purchased set of 3 Hp cartridges, the black cartidge stop working after just printing 15 pages. When i contact the company instead of replacing the cartridge they want me to try fixing the problem.

Bought HP inks but HP Printer 'told me ' they were not genuine HP. Printer broke down. HP not interested as I did not use genuine HP inks. Scrapped printer and had to buy a new one.

The use of remanufactured or compatible cartridges will not affect your printer's warranty. All printer manufacturers would like you to use their cartridges and may give the impression that if you don't your warranty will be invalidated - but this is not the case, Ink cartridges are a consumable item there is a legislation that prohibit companies from voiding warranties when an end user wants to use a third-party laser toner or inkjet cartridge that has not been made by that company. All our remanufactured/compatible toners are fully guaranteed, just like the originals are, and if found to be faulty can be returned and replaced within days at no extra cost to the end user.

Have been a customer for years and service has always been great. That has not changed. However, I recently bought some "Canon compatible " cartridges to save some money. They are re-filled genuine Cannon, but run out very quickly, some are leaking on arrival, ink supply is poor. False economy. To be fair, I have not brought this up with Internet ink for them to respond. I will probably continue to use them, but genuine ink only for me in future.

It is common to get a low ink or empty warning when using remanufactured cartridges as the print head contains electrical contacts that communicate with your printer. Because the cartridge is being reused your printer thinks that you have inserted an old ‘empty’ cartridge. Unfortunately there is no way to reset this information however I can assure you that the cartridges are fully checked and tested before they are dispatched. However if your Canon printer has come to a halt because of the error message, then please press and hold the reset button for 15 – 20 seconds or until your printer carriage starts to move. (you will not have to do this again) The only disadvantage to remanufactured cartridges is that you will not get any indication of when the ink is running out. However we would advise simply keeping a spare cartridge in stock and checking the quality of your prints when they begin to fade then you know it’s time for a new cartridge. Having been a "valued customer" for years using your website I have recently had no success in ordering. Having placed an order I could find no way to change the quantity prior to check out. I'm not computer illiterate, but had to telephone and speak to a member of staff to place my order. Up to now the service has been very good. Unfortunately compatibles were sent this time so I had to send them back. The returns label was incomplete so a wasted journey and wait at the post office resulted (there was no postcode on the returns slip) The email about delivery came too late on Thursday morning as we had left the house by then. The package was left in our recycling bin and almost went with the Friday morning collection!

I have just replaced the black cartridge and my Epson printer has registered that the cartridge was NOT a genuine original. Is the printer wrong or or you selling cheap copies?

Hi, I have taken a look at your order and you have purchased the taster pack! Epson T1816 Original & Compatible XL Twin Pack - 8 Inks Within this pack you will have received a full set of original Epson cartridges & a full set of Epson compatibles (Non Genuine)! Please do not mix compatibles with originals please use one or the other it will cause a memory conflict on your printer and the cartridges will show as not recognised.
