Ordered two cartridges for HP inkjet. Both failed to work. Either empty or faulty. It is freepost to return them (good) and I am now waiting to see how returns handled. Won't buy from them again. Will stick with genuine cartridges.

Was sent a black ink compatible cartridge for my HP printer. Unfortunately it didn't print clearly. I got in contact and got instructions on how to make it work which it did until the next time I wanted to use it a fortnight or so later and once again it didn't print. Each time I reloaded the cartridge my printer did another alignment which used up more ink. I didn't seem to be able to cancel it. I could have sent it back for a replacement but I just bought an HP cartridge as I needed it immediately. On a more positive note, customer service was very good and efficient. I may have just been unlucky.

Hi Folks, Thought I would try out a pair of lookalike remanufactured H P 300 cartridges . The black cartridge faded quickly after printing off a fraction of copies that the standard H P 300 normally produce. This in the middle of an important print out prompted a mad dash to the nearest supermarket for an HP replacement. Also, the lookalike cartridges did not register ink levels.A lesson learned here1.Also will endeavour to keep standby cartridges Still using the colour cartridge. Regards R G S.

I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing problems, from time to time air bubbles or dried ink locate around the print head and can restrict the ink flow. Please follow the troubleshooting guide below to remedy this: Wrap the cartridges with kitchen towel ensuring the print head is covered, so you don’t get ink on yourself, shake the cartridge back and forth, this will dislodged any air bubbles that are trapped near the print head and restricting the ink flow. Run the cartridges under warm water for a few seconds then dry the cartridge with kitchen towel and firmly press the print head onto the kitchen towel to check that ink is coming out. Some cartridges may require a little longer allowing the heat to penetrate the ink head, so please try sitting the cartridge in a saucer of warm water for several minutes if the blockages persists. Reinstall the cartridge into your printer and print off several test pages. It is common to get a low ink warning when using remanufactured cartridges as the print head contains electrical contacts that communicate with your printer. Because the cartridge is being reused your printer thinks that you have inserted an old ‘empty’ cartridge. Unfortunately there is no way to reset this information however I can assure you that the cartridges are fully checked and tested before they are dispatched. If you are still encountering problems please contact our customer support team quoting your order number, full printer model and we will issue you with our returns details. If you have had product from us within the last 12 months, we’ll repair the product or, if that’s not possible give you a replacement or, if that’s not possible a refund. You can also find additional support information on our website please see the link below. http://www.internet-ink.co.uk/support

My recent order (ref 4482941) was for a HP950XL/951XL Compatible Ink Complete Pack for an HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. The Pack arrived quickly but unfortunately my printer wouldn't accept the cyan cartridge. I tried the suggested solutions but it wouldn't have it. Ended up having to buy a set of HP originals elsewhere. The order from Internet-Ink proved to be a waste of money. Pity really because I've had compatible cartridges from you before for previous printers and had no problems. Chris White. 21.10.14

Often compatible cartridge get blamed for being faulty when that is not often the case, In fact by far the greatest number of calls we get from customers relates to cartridges not being recognised or memory conflicts. They don’t happen all that often but when they do occur, all you need to simple do is reset your printer, by removing all of the cartridges whilst your printer is switched on, followed by switching off your printer at the plug socket for 2 minutes. Turn your printer back on installing the colour cartridges first followed by the black last, as this acts as the master reset cartridge. I have checked your order details and there are no notes, so I can only assume that you have not previously notified us of this issue. If the cartridge is still failing after the reset then, please call or email our customer support team who can replace, upgrade to an original or refund your order on 0800 612 0874 or Email support@internet-ink-support.co.uk

Ordered Canon black and colour cartridges. Arrived promptly today but plastic bag containing colour cartridge (haven't opened black cartridge yet) had written 'no blue tape used on this cartridge'. Guess what? when opened to load into printer, got hands and desk covered with ink! Why no blue protective tape? Will probably buy cartridges elsewhere in future.

We have not used blue tape on Canon colour cartridges for many years. Using the blue tape will cause contamination inside the cartridge. The clip used on the colour cartridge is specially designed with a ridged pad that will fit the print head. I have checked the notes on your order and can see the you have spoken to our customer support team and is now happy to use the cartridge.

Having purchased replacement ink cartridges for my Canon Pixma MP140, I went to put the colour cartridge in and opened the sealed packet got out the cartridge only for my fingers to be coloured blue which as you can appreciate was the last thing I expected, I had to fit the cartridge as I was halfway through printing some A4 sheets which were needed urgently. I find this very annoying as the ink takes day's to wear off. This is the first time I have used compatible cartridges and am so far disappointed .

Reasonable service..ordering and delivery was efficient and to be expected. The ink cartridges. . Colour has been fine. The black ink is another story..I ordered 2 of each..colour and black. The 1st cartridge after the initial replacement only registered on the printer software as nearly empty.. so according to the software. .ran out within a couple of weeks and refused to print.. 2nd cartridge is now in place..well all I can say is the printer has never made the 'flapping' sound I can hear currently. .it's working ok..ish..but I'm not convinced this cartridge will last as it should ??!!!! :-/

Black cartridges were the wrong ones which were initially denied until I sent them a correct looking one, then the colour ink ran out after only a few days.

Ink arrived quickly as promised, however printer immediately registered ink as low and printed pages were of bad quality. Tried unclogging the cartridge which worked for a very short time, but eventually gave up. Not entirely sure that there was much ink in there to start with. Ordered replacement ink from another company and that seems fine.

Disappointed as the cartridge (black) seemed to clog when still about two-thirds full (guesstimate). This is not the first time this has happened.

I have found the Cannon Pixma series ink very expensive so decided to try compatible which is much cheaper, however, as I sometimes print photographs, these were very poor. Also the black has run out very quickly, I have had to order some more of the Original Cannon Ink, so in the long run I have not saved anything.
