Very poor service. Asking me to get another plumber to fix a problem with the boiler they just installed! Plumber said the valve for downstairs was broken and he couldn't change it. Well, if you break it then you fix it! It was working previously. They try to hide reviews and give broken links for ratings. Beware!

Unfortunately a poor company to deal with and one I regret making a purchase from. The install went as planned and boiler was working well until I noticed a knocking sound coming from the boiler. The manufacturer came out to repair the boiler under warranty and reported the electrical installation had been bodged as you can see from the pictures. So Heatable sent around another engineer to rectify the bodged install, this is when the nightmare started. The engineer who came to rectify the install was really poor. I arranged over the phone with him to come in the morning, 2 in the afternoon I called to see where he was and Heatable called back to say he would be another hour. 3 o'clock he called me to say he would take another hour. So a whole day wasted waiting for him. The engineer then spent two hours doing, I'm not sure what. He shouted upstairs for me to turn on the thermostat which I did and the electric tripped out in the whole house. He then spent another hour doing, I'm not sure what, then asked me to turn the thermostat on again and the heating came on so he left. Later I tried to turn the heating off and realised I wasnt able to and the thermostat was unable to control the heating/boiler. So over the next few days Heatable sent more engineers around to see what the issue was. It wasn't an issue with the boiler so passed me on to Nest. During my calls with Heatable they insisted even though I hadn't purchased the Nest Thermostat through Heatable, if one of their engineers had broken it they would replace it. Nest where unable to fix the Thermostat and couldnt replace it as the warranty had expired and as you might guess when push came to shove, Heatable washed their hamds of it and told me their was nothing they can do and it wasn't their engineer who had broken it. I just can not belive that it is a coincidence the Thermostat stopped working at the exact same time their engineer wired it up incorreclty and the electric tripped out in the house. Anyway even more infurating I have now purchased a brand new Nest Thermostat and paid someone to come and install it. They have just opened up the case and shown me inside and the only change to the bodged install they have made is to change the brand of wago connector. The original wiring on the £2.5k boiler has been hacked up beyond belief. Please take a look at the manufactorers report and these pictures and DO NOT purchase a boiler from Heatable

Worst nightmare. Installation took only 3 hours and the result was 1. They removed an old pipe and "forgot" to seal it. It took 3 visits for them to fix it ( they should have replaced the pipe but they only applied some silicone). Downstairs neighbour property damaged twice. 2. One month later we noticed a gas leak, they repaired it after saying 'it was only a small one'. Thanks God 3. They removed all the wall plaster when removing the old boiler (answer after complaining - check our policy) 4. They broke the back of all my kitchen cabinets ( to set tup the condensate pipe 5. Over a year later, we found that this condensate pipe is leaking, still investigating the damaged.

Poor quality product installed after a directors recommendation. Shoddy workmanship. Installed the oil Filter the wrong way round. Damaged plastering in my hallway. Left electrics that are dangerous. Boiler leaked after install. Heating controls didn’t work. After the first year Service the engineer stated that the flue was not connected properly and was dangerous. Not interested that the boiler breaks down every year and have basically told me it’s now my problem with the manufacturer.

My boiler install was carried out on the 14th December 2021 ( Viessmann Vitodens) First the positives, the web site was very easy to use and the options available were very good, booking in the boiler install was very easy and all within a very acceptable time scale (considering the time of year) Unfortunately they are the only positives The boiler was poorly installed with the following issues- Gas Leak at the gas meter test nipple ( Unacceptable) The engineer left the property without checking the test nipple after he had used it ! Flu incorrectly installed ( No fall on the vertical section to the boiler) Condense pipe poorly installed No Non return value on cold water inlet to the boiler No Gas bond on the gas pipe Poor messy workmanship on the flu installation ( See pictures) Insecure plume kit Concrete walked up and down driveway Chemical flush not carried out As per Heatables T & C’s Two Gas safe building compliance certificates issued, one with an engineers name that had nothing to do with the installation?? Heatable never return Email’s for some reason and only interact over the phone after YOU have called them. Heatable have since sent another engineer out to rectify the above issues and given us £100 to have the drive jet washed. But Heatable offered NO apology for the dangerous installation, which is unacceptable. You can best judge how good a company is ,when things don’t go as planned, and Heatable were just about the worst I’ve come across, so in conclusion if your looking for a boiler to be installed, look for local recommendations and don’t take the risk of Heatable.

Heatable? More like Wasteable! Don't be fooled by their slick website - they do not stock boilers and won't tell you until you have booked it in and in my case arranged Finance. If only their website didn't lie. Complete waste of time, credit file in tatters and still no boiler. Went to Heatable based on their reviews, slick branding and website experience. All great in order to get your finance in place, but deliver on promises - no chance! What happened was this, on the Thursday after choosing the best boiler for our house and clearly displayed as available on the Heatable site and a fitting date stated and booked, I uploaded the requested photos of my current boiler arrangement, spoke with the engineers at length and chatted with the online staff. The boiler exchange was booked four days after and finance arranged (including credit check) at the time of booking, all to be fitted on the following Monday. Then the trouble began! Should have seen it coming after the engineer forgot to call back on Friday with some images promised about a flue pipe. Phone rang 9am Saturday morning with a friendly Jon to be fair, saying sorry can't get hold of the boiler you require and ordered for your house and will be a potential 2 - 3 week wait. I said totally unacceptable and was informed later that afternoon there may be one available within your local area, but will need to confirm on Monday and possibly fit Wednesday or Thursday. I did mention that I have young kids in the house and that a director should make things happen. Then late Monday afternoon I am informed that the Worcester Bosch has been located and it's likely to be fitted Weds or Thursday. Wednesday comes and I am told they are now not in stock and their supplier can't get one as promised. Next it's Thursday and a new person calls me from Heatable who is the installation manager saying it's impossible to get the boiler but he can fit some make I have never heard of but equal power. Obviously I said not acceptable and want to speak to a Director but he kept saying he was the most senior one in the office. After another 20 minutes of him dishing out excuse after excuse making me feel like I have not done something wrong by not accepting this substandard boiler, it all got a bit tiring... I had to go as I was just getting tired of listening to him go on and on about he had exhausted all solutions. Seemed like a well versed script if you know what I mean… Next thing 20 mins later presumably after a chat around the office I got a call from Jon. He said sorry there is nothing we can do we will have to cancel off the finance. I said I am prepared to wait for the boiler, but he said they are not prepared to have this open as it had happened before. What's that supposed to mean?! So if you want your time wasted, credit file messed with and family to be left without heating or hot water the Heatable is the go to online service!!

All good until the install DAY the plumber was grumpy, short and sharp in his manner, messy and damaged our Victorian woodwork on the way in and then denied it once we had complained, Heatable claim they make the process better and vet and train their tradespeople, not this time it took use 2 hours to clean up after him and then redecorate where he had damaged our hall wood work!!!! Would I use Heatable again? NO The after sales dept have your evidence and photos to complain against the plumbers denial of any wrong doing, same old issues they state to have solved in there sales speel and marketing, the two guys that set it up need to vet the plumbers doing the job as it was a more stressful experience for us, wish we had used a local company !!!! We have been compensated £50 An update today 02.02.2022 as I have left Heatable at 1 star review they have now refused to pay the £50 compensation they had put in writing they had committed to pay. This is the managemnt decisions behind the lovely company Heatable.

After booking and paying for my new boiler to be installed. This morning I have received a phone call that the engineer cannot make it. I was called at the time he was supposed to be here. Being self employed I have taken a day off work loosing out on a days earnings (about 25% of my weekly wage) I now have to take another morning off affecting even further income. The notice was awful and no alternative was offered. Not impressed and not happy at all.

They talk the talk, but failed to walk the talk.... failure to standby their FIXED price promise. Went through the quote process, stating a conversion from system to combi storage, to which a premium is already added. The fixed quote was £3,750.00. I uploaded 9 images (twice as they said they couldn't find them). The photos were clear in showing the existing installation and even included schematic diagrams with heating calcs also included. Heatable engineer (sub-contractor) arrived as expected, inspected the job, stating an additional wired thermostat and 3 way value would be required, required and promptly phoned Heatable, they contacted me stating they required a whooping £750.00 - 20% more!!!!! I point blank refused to such a steep hike. One would have thought that the free gas pipe installation and the magnetic filters services offered as free but not required would of offset the additional 2 items required. I have already had quotes for the same, another installation service was now priced better (includes 5 year servicing plan - 10 year parts/labour warranty) or like for like by over £500 less than Heatable, and they have actually seen the job on a survey... Charlatans.

Website easy to use, seem well organised and pleasant, liked their enthusiasm to start with. Basically feel I paid for a boiler without an acceptable service, maybe this is why they’re cheaper. Any repair works involved with fitting the boiler were not kind to the eye. Read T&C’S, is what I was told. Basic simple things you might expect when paying a professional we’re either not in his job description, incompetence or just lazy. Leaving rubbish under a tree in the garden knowing a young child living there, consisting of bits of copper/ plastic pipe, block/brick and screws. Not acceptable in my view. Equally concerning they don’t appear to think anything wrong with any concerns I’ve raised as not got back to me after a week. Sadly, I won’t be recommending and don’t understand how this can be when they seem to have many happy customers.

Hey Susan, It's Sam here, the founder of Heatable. I do apologise for the issues which you've had, we never want a customer to feel like they've been pushed aside. I've just ran through the notes on the job and spoke with Ben, the head of our technical team. Unfortunately, during any boiler installation, the works can be disruptive and sometimes, small amounts of cosmetic damage are simply unavoidable. Our terms and conditions do state this, our engineers do not complete re-decoration, but they will always make good as best as they can. With regards to the small bits of copper which had been left in your garden, this was an oversight on our engineers behalf, and I apologise for that. I can see that Ben has tried to contact you on multiple occasions in order to offer you a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, but he has had no response? If you would like to call us on 0330 113 1333, we will be able to arrange this for you. We always do our best to make sure that customers go away feeling happy, I'm very sorry if you feel that you've been let down. If I can be of any assistance, please do get in touch. Regards, Sam
Fitter was meant to be there between 8 and 10, turned up at 12.40. Left my house in a right mess took me 3 hours to clean up and had to paint my stair walls as had been scratched and scraped all the way up. Also damaged boiler cupboard which had to be replaced. Heatable rang and asked me about there service, told them said they would investigate and get back to me but never did. Shocking service, l avoid if you want a proper job doing

Hello Carl, I'm sorry to hear that you're not happy with the service Heatable provided. As discussed during our follow up call, we asked for some images of the 'damage' which was caused to your property so that our after sales team could investigate it further, unfortunately, they do not appear to have received anything from you? Having spoke directly to the engineer, he advised that the space around the boiler had quite a few belongings (fishing tackle etc). He had to move it all in order to properly access the space around the boiler. If these were not put back as they were originally, I can only apologise. From what I can see, the actual installation, was carried out to a high standard. I feel that a 1 star review does not properly reflect the overall service which you received. Again, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't 100% satisfied with Heatable. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact the team on 0330 113 1333. Regards, Sam (Founder)
My previous 15kw Ideal boiler in my house was still working but on its way out, so I decided before it died I would upgrade to 30kw Viessmann 100 boiler. I paid extra for a Saturday install and paid for the setup in full upfront. Installer came installed the boiler and could not get the boiler to work and now we have no heating and no one to correct the issues until next week. Extremely unhappy - wasted money and no heating.

Hey Doug, I'm sorry to hear that you're not 100% happy with the service. Unfortunately, it appears to have been an issue with the boiler out of the box which our engineers did their best to resolve. When the problem can not be fixed, we have no choice but to call on the support of the manufacturer of the product itself. I can see that our after sales team managed to pull your home visit forward, to Monday (you were booked for installation on a Saturday). From what I can see, the issue was resolved within a couple of days, and our engineers also installed some extra equipment in to your home (expansion vessel), free of charge. We always do our best to make sure every customer received the same level of service. It's a shame that an issue with the product out of the box has lead to Heatable receiving a 1 star review. I hope everything is working great now - if you need anything else in the future, do not hesitate to contact our after sales team on 0330 113 1333. Regards, Sam (Founder)
I would not recommend this company to anyone. £1900 for a new boiler, they took off the cupboard of a new Howdens Kitchen and never attempted to put it back In addition, the radiators were never flushed through as we found out 2 weeks later, Several phone calls later, and got nowhere. Very disappointed

Hey Mario, Thank you for your review, however, I believe it is inaccurate. I can see from your order that our team were in contact with yourself prior to the installation and advised that the cupboard around your existing boiler may be damaged during removal, and would not be able to re-fit due to the new boiler's dimensions. You accepted this, and signed a damage waiver acknowledging it. With regards to the flush, had never been in contact with us to advise of this, there are no notes or messages on the system which relate to this. If this is a genuine concern, please contact our technical team on 0330 113 1333 and we will of course have an engineer attend. We work really hard to earn our reviews online, and I feel like this 1 star review is particularly unfair. Regards, Sam (Founder)
At first everything was going along nicely, a few ordering issues, our fault not theirs, then after talking to them on the phone, all ordered and a couple of hours later the order confirmation email arrived. Still all good and on the day of installation we decided not to have the boiler relocated, which was £500 extra!! Boiler fitted, all seemed ok so phoned up to tell them that we hadn’t had it relocated and to ask what happens re the £500 we’d paid for something we’d not had? I was told that it would be refunded that day, then hours later received an email saying that they’d not charged us correctly for what we’d had and that amounted to £500 so we weren’t entitled to any money back!!! Rang them and eventually got to speak to Sam the boss who accepted that they’d sent out the order confirmation email out which included the £500 relocation fee, he tried to make out it was an automated error on their part, even though parts of the order had been altered manually the main part of our complaint had not been altered, bit of a coincidence that!!! PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!! They think it is acceptable to send you out order confirmations that aren’t actually what you have ordered and then fob it off as automated errors!!!! Then try and convince you that you’ve got a good deal out of it!!! They are either incompetent or ......?

This review is inaccurate, unbelievable and completely unfair. To quickly summarise for our readers; 1- Chris placed an order for the wrong type of boiler installation at a cost of £2,550. His installation should have cost £2,914. 2- As a gesture of goodwill, and to save re-processing his finance application, we agreed to complete the more complex conversion of his heating system for the same cost (crazy, we know). 3- Chris was understandably very happy, as he'd just saved £364. 4- The full conversion of his heating system was completed. 5- Then, Chris calls up to say he wants £500 refunded, because of some information that had he'd seen relating to his original, incorrect order. In hindsight, we should have cancelled the order completely, then asked Chris to go back and re-place an order for the full amount. However, we didn't, because we were trying to be kind, and we chose to be out of pocket. As a result of all this, we've been left with a 1 star review because of a typo on an email which was sent relating to his original order which never actually happened. Regards, Sam (Founder)
New boiler fitted yesterday, not working and error code, plumber left knowing problem but couldn’t say what was wrong or when he could come back?? Still have to hot water or heating and no date to come back as he’s “busy” on other jobs....!!

Hey Allan, This is not good to hear. I've looked in to your order, from what I can see, the installation was carried out on time as promised. Unfortunately, it seems there was a rare issue with the actual product from the manufacturer, which is understandably out of our control. I can see from the system that Ben from our technical team got the manufacturer to attend the next working day, as a priority appointment and the boiler is now fully operational. We work really hard to ensure that all our customers receive a five star service, it's a shame that a rare manufacturing fault with the product has led to ourselves receiving a 1 star review. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, and I hope that you are happy with the resolution. Sam (Founder).
Took our money and fitted the boiler a coupl of days later. They seemed in a rush to get off to help someone on another job. There was also a lot of Google use and phoning a helpline to work out how to install the Nest thermostat as they had not done one before. The cupboard door they took off was not put back on and when my partner arrived home and went to do it, only a few of the screws had been left on the windowsill, the others were missing. The smoke alarm was also left covered up. 2 months on the flue has let water into the house and all over the new boiler. No one from Heatable calls back, you have to keep chasing them and the engineer who was meant to arrive today didn't show up and put his phone to voicemail. £1800 for a leaky boiler with a warranty that isn't valid due to an incorrectly fitted flue! I don't recommend them.

Don’t bother. Lack of communication between engineers and office. Failed to book us in so we have nearly been 2 weeks without a boiler. No next day installation as advertised. All this and I still haven’t had my boiler installed. Been lied to as well.
