“Wasn't massively happy with turf. I feel I had hidden crappy rolls within the pallet. A few of the rolls had big chunks missing and once laid down realised there was some dead patches. Also a few too many large stones for my liking. Wouldn't recommend to a friend. Better to try your luck with another supplier.”

“The turf arrived with no issues and was of a high standard. The delivery driver was really rude and ignorant. My experience was fed back to the company who said they would get back to me, but didn't.”

“The meadow is lovely and growing very well. I am more than happy with it. However, I asked for the turf to be delivered in one square metre rolls. Instead, it came in rwo square metre sections. My sister and I were unable to move it at all. I had to seek out a couple of workmen and pay them £20 apiece to bring it through to the back garden. I then had to cut it up so that I could move it to the prepared bed. This made the process rather more time-consuming than it need have been.”

“Know it was the wrong time of year to order turf but we prepared the ground meticulously and made sure it was well watered, the turfs were very dry when delivered(again it was a very hot day) but were delivered on two pallets 50 on one and 20 on another which seemed strange ? The turf from the pallet with 20 were very different from the others and when laid seemed a grey/green colour not green like the others these went brown very quickly (even though they were watered in) they have recovered somewhat since laying (19th May). Have ordered from you previously and the quality was not the same as the first order some split some thin, as I said may be the time of year but if this is a problem maybe you should inform the customer that it is not a good idea to take delivery at this time of year.”

“Good price and delivered on time. Out of 36m2 however two pieces were slightly undersized on the width (which created laying problems) and one piece appeared to be of a different texture/ species type. Otherwise the turf was cut to an even thickness and of good textural consistency. I would still use this company again.”

“The office staff were very pleasant. I had 2 pallets of turf which came on 2 lorries. one was very late in the evening and was enormous which blocked the street. One driver was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately some of the turf has weeds I think they are daisies which will soon be in bloom. It looks like the turf came from different farms. Some of the turf was yellowish and withered.”

“Delivery was not particularly quick and the plastic fertiliser container's lid had come off inside the cardboard box during transit. I recovered most of it by pouring it back into the container but this was not a good start.”

“The turf arrived a full 24 hours late as it got 'delayed in Birmingham' and was quite clearly kept overnight in a warehouse. I took the day off work to receive it and couldn't take the following day off, leaving my wife to receive it. On their site it quite clearly says turf should be installed on the day it's harvested which clearly we couldn't. You would have thought given this situation the guys might have helped lift it into the back garden (about 5 metres from the kerbside). Nope - they shrugged their shoulders and left my wife to drag it in. They were however very prompt and apologetic when told about this and refunded my delivery charge. The lawn itself looks great and is very good value for money.”

“Grass looks ok, BUT delivery is shocking, the poor driver and I had to get 3 x 1 ton pallets off his truck with a pallet truck which then sunk into my drive.. at least offer a premium delivery service with a mini forklift.. skimping on delivery costs means I wont recommend. the service is not fit for purpose and is more than likely against health and safety rules.”

“I understand that it's a perishable product however I was disappointed when the turf arrived that the top layers on both pallets were so dry that it was already browning up. Luckily I had ordered to much so I could throw the top layer from both away.”

“Turf has only been down a week not sure it's worth £3 per roll and looks nothing like the jubilee I ordered. Lots of rolls had holes in...... Time will tell I suppose.”

“I have to admit turf online didn't make me happy. I know I didn't pay for the very best turf but I didn't think I would get a lawn full of potato plants got them growing all over the lawn as well as weeds. Have to say I wouldn't order again and won't be recommending them to anyone.”
