“I've given a mark of 3 because we've had a mixed experience with you. First lot of turf arrived , very healthy , laid immediately , brilliant result . Lovely , lush , green grass which you would've got 5 out of 5 for . Second batch arrived a few weeks later , very light in weight , again laid immediately , but more-or-less completely bald and yellow . Very disappointed 😔”

“Let down by their delivery team which I understand is outsourced - turf was ordered due for delivery on a Friday but due to issues on their delivery partner side they could no longer deliver on the day so turf was held overnight in warehouse. I called the office but it was already after hours- perhaps improvement is that delivery times or communication from delivery couriers should align with office hours in case there are delivery issues - office was not open on Saturday and delivery was made on Saturday at noon but later than told which was before 11 with no comms. Turf was revived thankfully with no issues and still in acceptable condition”

“It was fine. Goods were quality, but perhaps a bit costly for what they were. Delivery took a while, had to email to find out what was going on.”

“Booking was easy and confirmation ok. Delivery on time. Driver was very helpful. Had two pallets with 70 rolls. 1st pallet had 1 roll on top completely ripped and unrolled and left in a pile on top. Also a roll on the bottom layer was wrapped and dragging on floor. 2nd pallet, bottom layer same as 1st pallet. General condition was good, some dry and light, but most very good. All turf except ripped one are looking good. Just a Nuisance to take photos and call customer services etc…”

“The sedum rolls that we received are really nice but I was disappointed that they arrived on a palette, which I now have to spend time disposing of and wrapped in disgusting plastic netting, which is dangerous to birds. This seemed to be in contradiction to the green credential marketing presented by the company.”

“Good communication and delivery. Helpful team. the meadowmat species rich turf was quite clumpy and hard to lay consistently without levelling the dips. Worked out in the end and client is happy with the result.”

“Service was great with delivery as planned and the product was good quality and as described , however one roll of green roof matting was missing so I asked for an additional one to be delivered or a refund but nothing has been forthcoming. We have a beautiful roof except for one large gap currently. Given we spent over £1k it leaves a little sour taste that we couldn’t even get a refund for one roll or even better a delivery to fill the gap. However I recommend the product. No complaints there.”

“Great quality grass . Delivery was a nightmare , paid to get it delivered between 8-11 and it didn’t turn up untill 1.10pm. Then the delivery driver’s pump truck wouldn’t work , so I had to go out of my way to go and borrow my mates pump truck to take the grass off the lorry . Also 4 rolls of grass was tangled up in the crate which made me short of grass in the end”

“Was happy with the product, but not happy with the price difference between buying 40m2 of turf then paying more than double the price when I needed an extra 10m2. This price is well above the average paid elsewhere but I paid it because I wanted the same product.”

“Excellent turf quality, no issues with the produce but the delivery of 2 pallets was left on the road. I understand its kerbside delivery but this shouldn’t be in the road, it was unsafe and when asked the delivery driver to put it on the path as a minimum, he said this wasn’t possible. This meant I had to immediately drive home from work to help my pregnant wife move the turf off the road as it was a safety hazard for cars coming round the corner.”

“Good Turf but Leatherjackets Found. The turf was delivered and was impressed, there were a few which were torn and a little ripped but not an issue, its turf at the end of the day and would be fine once it’s down. During laying though I did find several LIVE leatherjackets which were a cause of concerns as we all know the devastation they can cause on the lawn. They were quickly ‘dispatched’ but I’m somewhat concerned whether there was an infestation in the turf which could kill it off after a single season or whether I’m going to have to pay for a series of leatherjacket treatments… time will tell!”

“The quality of the turf was excellent and the delivery of soil and turf as requested. I was disappointed to read (too late) that the turf I ordered (and discussed on the phone as being correct for our site) did not require the low fertility soil. I think this could have been picked up from our order and we could have saved a lot of money.”

“I ordered low fertility soil from Turfonline. They were very helpful and gave great service when I contacted them for advice about choosing the product. Likewise the delivery was excellent and prompt. The product itself was of inconsistent quality and very poorly stacked on the pallet. One bag had split, the some of the contents were extremely wet while others were dry, and one had a lot of seed matter inside which I need to remove before using the soil. That said these inconsistencies were not deal breakers for the project I am working on but they were a little disappointing. Overall the service outshone the quality of product.”
