Ordered a portable trolley table blue tabletop at Crufts. Ask who was delivering it and told DPD. said I would be at work daytime but was told DPD could leave it elsewhere. Sure enough DPD text me a few days later saying they would deliver it the following day and if I was not going to be at home gave me a link to their website which gave alternative commercial addresses they would deliver it to where it could be collected. I chose one nearby. Then I got another message at 7.51pm from DPD telling me they could NOT deliver it to an alternative address. So I end up having to take a day off work to sign for it on delivery to my home before I even opened it to make sure it was all ok. The driver blamed you, GROOMERS, saying you would NOT allow DPD to leave it else where. You in tern blamed DPD. also the trolley came with a black top NOT blue as ordered at the CRUFTS show. Not likely to use GROOMERS again.

Dear Leslie, Thank you for your review. We would firstly like to apologise for any misunderstanding or miscommunication at Crufts and for any inconvenience that has been caused. The product that was entered onto the order, was the product that you have received. However, if you would like for this to be changed, we would be more than happy to arrange a collection and a new delivery with you. With regards to the original delivery, you have changed the delivery arrangement with DPD directly, which is something we do not have any involvement with. Therefore, we wouldn't have been aware that a change to the delivery had even been made and we absolutely would not have requested for DPD to cancel the delivery, even if we were aware of the change. We can only apologise on behalf on DPD, as what the driver has told you was incorrect. We are taking this very seriously and not only will we be passing on your complaint to DPD, we will also be taking this up further with our account manager at DPD, to investigate why the driver provided you with incorrect information. Customer service very unpleasant. Bought pair of bull nose safety scissors from Groomers online. These fell apart within 5 minutes of using them. I was triming by my dogs ear at the time and I had to fish out the screw from his ear canal. I tried to find out by email marked urgent if I have recovered all the parts or there are possibly others in the ear canal but nobody interested. Phoned them and apparently they don't have to reply sooner than 24hrs..... so they didn't!

We endeavour to reply to all email queries within 24 hours and we usually achieve this in less than this. When any issue with a product such as damage or the incorrect product has been received, we do kindly ask for a photo to help us speed the process up. Awful. I ordered a cat spray and got sent dogs treat and a dog ear product. Not sure how they managed to mess that up. My first time ordering as well so it's put me right off. Not the first experience you'd like to recieve! They gave me a refund which was good but still expect me to send the products back out of my own time, even though they was the ones to mess up. Which adds to the annoyance. Will never order from here again.

As I write this review and 8 days later, I am still waiting for my order. The order status still says, we will be processing your order to begin the despatch shortly. When I call you you stated that my order has been dispatched. So when will I get it. Not happy

The goods were indeed, dispatched the very same day you placed the order and ordinarily, the delivery service is 2-3 working days. Having tracked the order, it appears the courier have potentially lost the parcel but failed to inform us. Therefore, we will be taking this up further with the courier to investigate what has happened, but in the meantime, we will arrange for a member of our team to contact you this morning, to arrange sending a replacement order. I was very disappointed that the free postage banner on the website hid the unless you spend.... I also found adding in a useless spray without asking me was annoying clearly that made you qualify for the free postage but it was very unclear.

As you have ordered on a mobile phone, the size, display and general layout does differ from what you would see on a PC and we apologise if you feel you have been misled in anyway. Delivery is free for all orders over £85. Your order on this occasion was a little short of this figure. We were also running a promotion, which was to receive a free Pet Remedy spray, for orders over £75, which in this case, was something you qualified for and this was added to your basket automatically with no value applied to it. Despite removing this from your basket, we have since spoken to you and we dispatched one to you separately , which we understand you have received. Ordered on a Thursday for next day delivery (at an extra cost) in plenty of time as this was something we desperately needed. When it got to the afternoon of the following day it hadn’t arrived & we’d not received any update we contacted Groomers, who initially put the blame on the delivery company. However, on the next phone call to Groomers it was admitted that it had not been dispatched the same day as I’d ordered it; apparently due to a system fault, & wasn’t sent until the day it was meant to arrive! Needless to say it didn’t arrive until the Monday. One star review given because of poor customer service. Had they had contacted us on the Thursday or the Friday morning to explain a system fault etc & to apologise & refund my next day delivery charges, or offered to compensate them this review would’ve been different.

Ordered a stainless steel bath on Wednesday 25th and was assured it would be delivered either Monday 30th Sept or Tuesday 1st October. It is now Wednesday 2nd October and there is still no sign on said bath. We are now turning clients away as we are unable to cope with the volume of dogs and cats we groom in a day, due to not having the bath. Who covers this loss of earnings?

Would of given stars if the actual product had turned up. And after a week, I still have to wait another 3 days before I get a refund. I was told it would be here after contacting them, it didn’t turn up. When contacting again instead of just issuing the refund, was told to wait until the following Monday. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Absolutely rubbish, I ordered a snood for my dog as she was going to be spayed and I paid £5.98 express delivery. Four days later it hadn’t arrived I was first told that it was due to the courier and then I was told that it hadn’t even been posted due to some sort of problem with printing. Waiting for my refund now.

Disappointed, when placing an order with this company they always seem to be out of stock with 1 or 2 items and have to wait couple of weeks before they will be back in stock

We completely understand your frustration and to try and counter this, we always endeavour to replenish our stock as often as we can. However, sometimes if a product sells particularly well, we might become out of stock of that product earlier than anticipated. We also have different lead times on stock replenishment depending on what the product is and where in the world it is manufactured. They changed the size of the shampoo bottle necks and now is groomers can’t use pumps in them! Of course we just so happen to have all the time in the world to pour a huge bottle every time we do a dog! Wouldn’t of been an issue if they’d offered a solution other than “there’s nothing we can do” I guess I’ll find a new shampoo supplier, as there are so many around anyway!

Placed order on the Monday. I kept checking the order status online and by Thursday I called in as it was still waiting process. Pleasant enough lady advised something not quite right so would look into it and get it processed for delivery the following day meaning it would arrive the following Monday. I offered to pay extra to have it delivered the next day as l really needed the items but was told that wasn't possible. I have since placed another order with Christie's and it arrived within 48 hours.
