Please don't waste time with this company Boiler not installed to Worcester manufacturers spec. List of schoolboy errors. Left boiler exposed to weather and void of warrantee. Had it reinstalled by a Worcester accredited engineer direct into the house as per spec prefect. Three days cost £3.330. Taking Glow green to court to recover money. I only found out the problems after calling out my local plumber he pointed out the errors and suggested I call in an accredited Worcester engineer. Six weeks trying to get sense out of this company. Seven different people contacting me. NOTHING constructive. My question would be how many of those who have given five star to Glowgreen know that their boiler has been properly installed. Some I am sure will be sitting on a problem waiting to happen. If you have a serious problem take them to a SCC and make them pay. i

Frankly I wouldn't give you a star at all, only if there were minus stars. At this you would surely win a prize ! This is the worst Company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. With a boiler fitted about 12 weeks ago I am still waiting for an engineer to fit a replacement box with which to control my c/h. Currently I have no heating at all. The first was faulty, the second finally arrived but nobody to fit it has materialized, though I have been complaining for some long time.

This company is the most badly organised company I have ever come across. I paid for my boiler September 11 and now 13 October still not installed.I have no heating . They sent out 2 boilers , 2 men have been out. Although I am shielding and have had cancer they did not understand plumber can not use my WC. First plumber refused to install. 2nd plumber arrived and the size of boiler not correct /can not fit and did not have pipes needed to install so now I have to wait another week . And it is winter !!! 4 weeks later still no boiler. I have tried to contact company. Takes 30 mins on phone and then no apologies. Unbelievable. Too much to complain about ....not enough space. DONT USE THEM!!!

I called on the Tuesday to order a new boiler. Fitting to take place the next Monday. Fitter to arrive between 8 and 10 a.m. I was told the fitter would call me on Sunday night. He didn't. I was told the boiler would be delivered on the Friday, as it could not be delivered on a Sunday. It wasn't. Monday morning, I find an email timed at .7.24 a.m from another fitter, saying he was now assigned to my job. At 10 a.m. my bell rings. Hurrah. But no! It is a courier with the boiler, which he is not allowed to bring upstairs to my second floor flat. I had him leave it in the communal hallway. After noon, I sent a message to the woman I had ordered the boiler from, telling her what was going on. [It is not her fault, I am clear about that and tell her so.] I also sent a message to the 'new' fitter, asking what is going on. It is now Tuesday morning and I have had no response from either person. I have looked at Companies House records, but this limited company is not listed! I was going to write to the director[s]. I am seriously considering cancelling and using a different company. I chose this one because I am a Utilities Warehouse customer. Pretty disgusted at the moment.

7 days ago I put a review on trustpilot with concerns of what was supposed to be a 2 day job ended up a taken 10 and all this time I had no hot water or heating, I got a response pretty quick not like trying to call the customer service team if you press existing customer there is no answer. The response said I'm sorry to hear and please give details and they will call. I gave the details that they required and 7 days on still no call, emailed complaints 2 weeks ago and still no response there. Glowgreen you are a very disappointing company. I thought I would be safe going with a company like yours, I was very wrong. Please sort out and answer the phone to existing customers and give them the respect they need.

Terrible service from start to finish. The engineers didn't turn up on the first promised date to install the AC unit... They didn't give any reason why, my business lost a day's worth of takings. On the rescheduled date the engineers turned up and as they were just about to install the AC unit I asked them to verify that the unit brought in fresh air from the outside, which was what I was promised and one of the main reasons for going for this specific unit. The engineers told me 100% the units did not take any air from outside. Here is the wording the Glow Green sales team gave in their sales pitch on the phone and within their sales brochure. "Taking in air from outside, this air is then purified before either heating or cooling accordingly." After cancelling the order and sending the units back, I was told to email the complaints team to try and get compensation for my wasted time, loss of takings and mis-sold sale... I was greeted with this response = "Having reviewed your complaint and our internal records, I have decided that your complaint should not be upheld. Our Findings: I have looked at the image you have provided (this images was the screenshot not the official Glow Green product information sheet), and can see the wording is slightly ambiguous. What was meant when we said it uses air from outside is that it uses the air within the room, which is naturally air from the outside, and passes this through the internal A/C unit to be cool or heated and purified." Avoid this company at all costs!

Despite you changing your mind on the day of installation, we agreed a full refund and no penalties for cancellation (despite us ordering all the parts and engineers). DO NOT USE Glowgreen! If you have any doubts or concerns about using Glowgreen to replace your boiler, then don’t! they are most unprofessional organisation I have ever experienced with a catalogue of errors! From point of sale they misrepresented and missed key elements off the quote, like the smart nest system, which has meant we had to pay additional funds on top of the original quote, inflating the price. We have had the following issues: - Our first instalment date was canceled - The boiler installed is not level and square to the wall. - The wrong sized radiator was delivered and they tried to charge a restocking charge when taking it back. - Response time from Glowgreen can be in excess of a week. - Daniel Edwards their national instillation manager didn’t return calls despite messages being left and took over 3 days to reply to emails. - All engineers are subcontracted, this has become an issue when we have had 3 booked appointments for works to be rectified and completed, for all 3 bookings no one showed up, no communication to let me know and I was the one who had to chase Glowgreen for further information. I’m still waiting. This meant I have taken 3 days off work. - Nest was incorrectly installed and we have not been able to control our hot water, this is still outstanding 4 weeks on and we have two children under the age of 3. Glowgreen have put us into a situation where we can’t get hot water to wash, clean or bath our two children when going into winter and we are having to rely on a kettle! We have paid over £3000.

Glow Green very professional when selling a boiler, but it goes down hill from there on. Three weeks after boiler was installed it broke down. Glow Green still haven't repaired it 2 weeks since. Bad company!!

Absolute nightmare. When I read the reviews about Glow Green I thought wow these guys must be good. How wrong could I have been. It’s not just one thing that lead me to this review, it’s one thing after another. Firstly know that Glow Green are just an online company, they do not have their own engineers, they just offer the service to quote the job and source the engineers. I wish I had known that in the first place. I was given an installation date and a couple of days before I was told the engineer couldn’t make it. Glow Green still send me an email the day before to say the engineer would be coming. On the day I kept calling them and they kept telling me they would call back but they never did. I had to keep calling and calling. Even the next day promises to call me back and no call. Eventually I said I was going to cancel and they suddenly could talk to me. Engineer booked in for a few days later. Engineer arrived, he took out the old boiler and then the boiler arrived but the boiler is too big for my cupboard. Glow green had asked for the width and depth of my cupboard which I gave them, but not for the size of the door. So the engineer couldn’t twist the boiler (55kg) to fit in the cupboard. They need to take the door frame off to fit it in the cupboard which I said I’m ok with as long as there is no damage to the walls or anything other than cosmetic damage to the frame. The engineer left and I’ve been on to glow green again the next day and still had no confirmation of a new installation date. Eventually they said that they would charge £350 plus VAT to take the door frame off properly, or else they couldn't guarantee no damage and it would be taken off by a plumber, not a carpenter. On top of all of this the boiler they recommended is far too heavy for the plasterboard/studs they were trying to attach it to. It's 125kg when filled with water. It would most likely have come off the wall. Someone should have come to my apartment to review the cupboard, wall etc to give me the best advice, not just a phone call. I cancelled the order. Terrible terrible company - STAY AWAY from them! Nighrmare! And the customer service is the worst I’ve experienced. I highly advise against using this company.

Our fitter, Dave Middleton was brilliant, all went down hill after that, the poor poor communication of customercare , we have been trying to get a new thermostat fitted since October 2019, nobody turned up November 27th 2019, no call no email nothing, i sent many emails asking what happened, no answer. They eventually made another appointment January 15th. We didnt expect this to be good, it was cancelled couple hours before he was due. Our contract is/was with Glowgreen, theyre now saying theyre sending a contract electrician to fit it. Told the electricians were not in till 4pm. We have cctv, they turned up one morning, phoned me can you let me in, we were both at work, they called again one evening, both random calls, no appointment made, so this 2nd time i was in bed , husband still at work. For all this hassle Andy Hebblethwaite gave us our monthly glow care pack at £12 free for a year. We thought thats kind, oh no, now been told if we want our thermostat fitted its £192. DISGUSTING . We have now decided to have nothing to do with them, even though we have a 12 year warranty with them. There loss

Bad mistake I made using glow green fitted new boiler shoots water out all over back of my house and electrics not wired in just plugged in to extension lead told electrics be done part of fit but now weeks on told have to pay not happy as no one returns calls

Take this advice from a suffering customer of Glow Green. Stay away from this company unless you have all the time on your hands to be making on average 10 calls per day over 1 week period on all 3 telephone numbers provided on the website and still NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE CALLS. I bought a very expensive bolier through them and it's been the worst mistake I have made in my life.  The bolier had issues which needed an engineer to come out but to get this Worcester engineer to come out, it took 3 weeks because that's how long it took me to get through to someone to arrange the engineer call out. I now have a Nest thermostat issue that I also bought through Glow Green and I have been promised an engineer will call me to sort this problem out and currently I am still waiting and this has been now the 3rd week and still no contact made.  I promise you I have never in my 40 years dealt with a unprofessional, bad serviced, lack of staff, incompetent company like Glow Green. The do not care about customer service and after sales care and I am the one one that is suffering in silent. Young children in the house and having the thought of the bolier not working during winter is giving anxiety as it takes on average 3 weeks to get through to someone in Glow Green. Please take this review seriously, STAY AWAY FROM GLOW GREEN and dont be like me, who spent all that money to be left as a sad disappointed let down customer.
