A copy of my letter to my amazing account manager Craig Aston. Dear Craig I just wanted to say how amazed I have been not only by the care you have given me in sorting out my new boiler but also Tommie and Josh came yesterday and did an amazing job. I have to say I was quite daunted at first as I am trying to find my feet doing the things in life a guy would do (not meant to be sexist). Boilers are not pink jobs but no - I back track, you made that the easiest thing in the world to me. It is now definitley on my pink list and if I know any friends who are stuck I shall definitley recomend you. The guys yesterday were amazing, efficient and friendly. Excellent service from the office to the the workmen who did the job. Especially the egineer who was most helpful - first class.
Dreadful at everything else
I have a request in them currently as my central heating has failed, I’ve been assigned an engineer that quite frankly couldn’t give a damm!
No reply’s to my emails and when I do get hold of him he just fobbed me off..
I’m guessing they out source their engineers so if you get a devil may care guy like I did God help you!!
Lovely boiler
We decided to go with glow green. A year ago. Paid £3000 for a boiler . Could get the same boiler for £2000! But I thought it’s a good company. Well after a year the pressure in my boiler is high . We bleed the radiation but it’s still show 2.5 bar! Phone then a week ago still
Did not do anything about my problem. Phoned them again and I told the guy what he read back to me it wrong . He was going on for 15 minutes how aggressive and abusing I am to him as I dear to correct him the details. He did send a message to the women who deals with my problem. Again 3 days later nothing happened. I had to phone an plumber to fix my problem as Lovely glows green refused to do anything even my boiler is under warranty!
They was done service in November and inspector put note to come and check pipe was leaking since they fixed the boiler since November to now they not come and fix the pipe. And taking money every month. Inspector was very good. And he checked everything properly.
Terrible cowboy company who are only interested in getting the boiler in and with shoddy at best customer care. Especially during a live install. They lie and they cheat, dont have a clue about GDPR and giving the information rewuested on time. Do yourselfs a favour and steer well clear. Your after installation help is very poor trying on lazy customer service advisors
And a echo team who do not do pre booked telephone call since the 25th of Feb.
I have a cold house I am aged 65 years now I have to search how to reconnect Salus The lazy boys like Carl are not helpful.

I have had a very bad experience. They came quickly and fitted in a reasonable time. But left us with a boiler not working properly. Took the second payment out of our account without checking everything was satisfactory first. We are currently ringing and ringing to get something out to fix it. They say they will call us back but never do!!!
Our oil boiler broke on the 28th December 2020, an order for a new boiler was placed with Glow Green 15th January, an installation date of 29th January was booked in. The installation was cancelled on the 28th January after being advised that a boiler was not available from the manufacturer. - I accept that this is not in the company's control but do wonder why it took 15 days (and the day before the due installation date) to establish and communicate this information when Worcester Bosch were telling people there was a supply issue from early January. The installation date was rearranged for 5 1/2 weeks time (March 8th) despite Worcester Bosch saying they would clear the backlog in 4 weeks. The date then got rearranged to March 5th when a new appointment was found.

On March 5th the boiler was delivered, just after 8am, at 8:50am I was informed that the installation engineer had called in sick and would not be installing on that day. Once again I accept that staff sickness is not something that can be foreseen, but would have hoped that a national company would have sufficient cover that should an engineer be sick their schedule could be taken over by others, if not on the day shortly afterwards. I was told that someone would be in contact later that day to let me know when a re-arranged appointment would be made. I received no phone call either on Friday, over the weekend or on Monday morning. I spent 40 minutes trying to get through on Monday morning with no answer, I emailed two contacts with no reply and finally opened a ticket on the website webdesk. Out of desperation I contacted the engineer directly, who stated 'I don't know if it's being done this week or not as I'm away all week on other works', I asked him to get in contact with Glow Green and his response was 'I'll see what I can do, as you are aware there[sic] not the easiest to contact'

On March 5th a gas certified engineer was seconded from Crawley to move the 238kg boiler from an unsecure, open to the elements area to an indoor space. The engineers said he had not been advised it was an oil boiler and had no equipment to maneuver a quarter of a tonne oil boiler. The boiler remains in the same place that it was delivered with some plastic bags sellotaped to the outside as protection from the elements.

At 2:30pm today (Monday 8th) my wife finally got through to a representative of Glow Green. The advice we received was that the next available installation would be 19th March.

The fitter turned up on time, was very informative and cleared away the old boiler.. Great service

disappointed. Unreliable,, and unfaithful. I have been contacting Glow Green many times regarding the boiler installation, it’s been a week they don’t give a dam.poor customer service, rude staff,

boiler installation did not be installed properly in first place due to delivery issues and I had engineer called PEPE he was great helpful and he couldn’t complete the job because he has to wait for the 2nd delivery it’s been a week I’m still waiting for the engineer to come and complete my job, its not the engineer fault it’s company they don’t give a dam I have paid £3000 for my boiler insulation and they dump me like rubbish , the boiler condenser water pipe left unfix, and the engineer who made the hole in my bed room to feed the condenser pipe that’s been left unfix I’m getting cold air every single day
the instalation ok but didnt take time to show how to work control resulting in heating on during night and then came home in afternoon and heat on again, the quick start leaflet needs looking at as the instructions are not just for the customer. it talks about wiring diagram, open therm. thermostat terminals description, landlord settings etc. I feel it would be better if there was a simple quick start leaflet.I had to google instructions which didnt help, there wasnt a subtitle, manual over ride, so I could operate the control without setting days and times. I rang glow green I got an email from REED saying he would be in touch, then today I got another message saying he couldnt get a response I checked my phone and I havent missed any calls .I dont think that is good customer service all he did then was send details of a website to get help, to me that is poor customer service

Exceptional speed at taking your money, slightly less competent at booking your installation and probably won't have the boiler you actually want.

Aftersales – APPALLING – So far waited over a week for someone to come and fix my 3month old boiler – No heating or hot water and a baby and two boys with additional needs to look after.

Cracking Job Glow Green – I will be passing on my review to EVERYONE I CAN.
