“A copy of my letter to my amazing account manager Craig Aston. Dear Craig I just wanted to say how amazed I have been not only by the care you have given me in sorting out my new boiler but also Tommie and Josh came yesterday and did an amazing job. I have to say I was quite daunted at first as I am trying to find my feet doing the things in life a guy would do (not meant to be sexist). Boilers are not pink jobs but no - I back track, you made that the easiest thing in the world to me. It is now definitley on my pink list and if I know any friends who are stuck I shall definitley recomend you. The guys yesterday were amazing, efficient and friendly. “So... From the top. I wanted solar..... What I didn't realise is you need to take a short course in solar energy to make an informed decision on what you wish to buy. So after speaking to many sales man. I filled out the initial form for glow green. I had a call from Scott Tomlinson. He was refreshingly knowledgeable, professional and defently not pushy. ..he took along time to basically train me so I knew what was the right pc system for our individual situation. He was more than happy to change the design as needed. And answer the inevitable million questions you will have. Once we had hammered out and agreed a what I needed. and the price was very reasonable. (I've since met people who payed alot more for alot less) He took a small deposit to book in the electrician check . They carried out the check remotely so I didn't need to take a day off work. Then, the time from agreement to install time was around 8weeks wait. So pretty fast. The equipment was delivered by a very nice helpful driver who will leave it on your driveway a few days before the install (you need to be in to receive the delivery). I took 3 days off work to be around for the install. First the scaffolders arrived . And we're finished within an hour. Then the next day there was a bit of a mix up but Justin got us back on track and the roofer and electrician turned up . And we're amazing. Nothing was to much for them. The electrician explained the apps etc. They even offered to take the rubbish away altho I had already taken it to the tip. Now as I write this I am generating 16kwh on a good day and enough to cover our usage on a bad one. We just await the final audit on from the electrician. The roofing audit is complete. And await authorisation from the DNO to export to the grid. I cannot thank glow green enough from start to finish their communication has been excellent. A localish firm. Who care. What more could you ask for. All the best Tom”

“We got a very competitive price for our 24 Solar panel system so we wary of the service we might get especially as I had read some reviews that I thought were not glowing. However Glow Green were very good at making sure all was well at every step of the installation. Anytime I rang them the phone was picked up quickly and the issues were sorted out by the the customer rep there and then, not passed up to supervisors. We are very pleased with the outcome.”

“I bought a 10-panel solar system with a Duracell Dura16 battery and an EV charger from Glow Green. The price seemed reasonable, and the installation went well. The scaffolding went up on 27 August and came down on 1 October. So far, the system has worked without any problems and is doing it's thing whenever the sun shines. The sales guy and on-site contractors were professional, knowledgeable and clearly knew their stuff. The only minor issue was the equipment delivery - it arrived badly stacked on a broken pallet. Thankfully nothing was damaged. I chose Glow Green because they seemed an established company with decent reviews, and my experience has been positive. They answer the phone promptly, and the teams dealing with scheduling, technical support and billing have all been friendly and efficient. I ran a Cat 6 cable to the inverter to avoid Wi-Fi issues (mines a bit dodgy) and will do the same for the EV charger. The system is probably a bit oversized for my current electricity usage, but I hope to move away from gas heating and get an EV in the future. Overall, I’m very pleased with my choice. Based on my experience to date, I would recommend Glow Green.”

“We chose a Worcester Bosch climate 3200i air conditioning 7kw unit, very impressed by the appearance and operation of it, Robert the engineer was brilliant unfortunately the electrician didn't turn up on the day but Robert managed to get it operational to show us how it works, the electrician came a few days later, everything works great, the after care plan is well worth having. The delivery and installation was a lot quicker than expected, overall very good service.”

“* Updated 18 minutes ago Such a shame. Very good at installing but not so good at communicating. Chasing when my additional battery will be installed but no response 28/08/26 Still not been contacted by the planning department 14/09/26 had a call, my order was resent, which I signed and sent back and again, silence. 28/09/26 battery fitted but was not fitted correctly as it is now hampering my summary usage app. I have been advised the CT clamp hasn't been fitted correctly. Logged the fault Saturday with online support, heard nothing. Called in today and was told the person handling my case would contact me. Nothing as yet 30/09/26 Received a phone call to say that the installers would be with me either Wednesday evening or Thursday. No confirmation received. I guess now they have the money they are not interested.”

“We used Glow Green to supply and install our solar system, spending around £13,000, and unfortunately the experience has been extremely disappointing. The workmanship has been poor. Some of the panels on the rear of the property do not sit flat, and our roof was also damaged during the installation. The equipment supplied was Duracell-branded, and our experience with it has been very poor. The app is unreliable and frustrating to use, and we have had repeated issues with the system. Despite how the equipment may be marketed, based on our experience I would not consider it premium equipment at all. When we originally asked about having the batteries installed in the loft, this was agreed without any warning to us that this could present additional safety concerns. A year later, we have become increasingly uncomfortable with the location of the batteries and inverters. Both of the inverters installed as part of the original system have now required replacement within roughly a year. When Glow Green were arranging to return to replace them, we asked whether the batteries and inverters could be moved to a safer location outside the property. We even made it clear that we were prepared to pay for this work ourselves. Glow Green's response was that they would not carry out the relocation, even if we paid them, and that we would instead need to instruct a third-party installer. Throughout the numerous issues we have experienced, we have found Glow Green difficult and frustrating to deal with. In fairness, Duracell's after-sales support has been much more helpful, and without their involvement I am not sure we would have got as far as we have in resolving the problems. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Glow Green. I would also strongly advise anyone considering a solar installation to research the exact make and model of the inverter, batteries and monitoring system being supplied rather than simply accepting the equipment recommended by the installer. For something costing around £13,000 and expected to remain on your home for many years, I expected significantly better workmanship, equipment and after-sales support.”
