We purchased a boiler from grow green 4 years ago and now have issues to which they sent a Worcester boiler engineer to tell us that the boiler has been plumed back to front. And also that the soakaway had not been fitted correctly this was leaving a limescale and a poisonous substance onto our patio when we questioned Worcester engineer about the situation that our dog died suddenly with liver and kidney failure about a year after the boiler was installed. When speaking to glow green about this they weren't interested they also one interested to tell us that the boiler weird purchase did not come with the 12 year. Even though we'd had it serviced every year by the same service engineer because the boiler hadn't been registered with Worcester Bosch yeah we purchased the boiler from them as it came with a 12-year warranty. Since the boiler has been installed correctly as they did come back and swap the piping and sort the soakaway out the system does not heat as it should Worcester Bosch have been out and now said it's because the whole system needs to be stripped down and cleaned thoroughly because segment has gone round the system the wrong way glow green will have nothing to do with this and have said we need to pay for this to be sorted I would stay well clear of this company. We are also looking into compensation for the damages loss of earnings and also an investigation into the dogs death because we will take this further this is not the end of the line.

I have never been so disappointed with a company in all my life! They say they “Pride”themselves on customer service” Well I’d like to know where mine is. I am appalled by there service! They can book a boiler & pressurised water tank in tomorrow, but get them to put a problem right, it takes 4 months for someone to come out. The sales guy was so reassuring, we don’t leave the property until everything is in working order. Well they left mine on the 21st of April 21 and after numerous phone calls each taking 25 minutes to answer and letters etc. I was promised an engineer this morning, which was booked over 10 days ago and this morning at 8am I get a call to say it’s cancelled. I answered the phone and isn’t it funny the line was as clear as day, but she couldn’t hear me! So eventually after shouting Hello 20 times I put the phone down Hoping she would ring back! Surprise surprise she hung on the line till I hung up so she could leave a voice mail, as there was no 2nd call received! I have rang at 8:20 this morning spoke to Ann who unfortunately got the lot, which I did apologise to her, as I know it’s not her fault. So just waiting on a call back from Bernie, who left the voice mail to say she’d booked me in For 10th August! Is she ha big a laugh!!!! I’ve even got a message on boiler now that says “system pressure too low, top it up” how the hell do I do that??? Yvonne Parkinson

Following on from my last review regarding the shoddy service from this company installing our boiler and waiting a long time for an appointment for an annual service which didn't happen, today we were due to eventually have the very long overdue service and surprise surprise again he didn't arrive and it was down to use to chase the company to find out what was happening. Apparently we have to wait again as they are so busy they are booking for October, no wonder they never turn up! Do not go near this company, we are left with a boiler that was installed by a person who had never come across this type and was unable (or unwilling) to show us how it works and months overdue for a service which would reassure us and keep us within the warranty rules.

Had a boiler installed a month ago but have to wait for engineer to come and check it before warranty is issued.Now waited in for the Third time and again no show so still no warranty and to make matters worse I have no hot water for two days as was told it’s been put down as urgent and they keep sending me tickets but still no show.Customer service just a waste of time as only give lip service but don’t actually give a flying one.Worst company ever.

Still waiting room stat to be fitted. Phoned office to be supplied with a ticket number and informed I would be called. Still waiting despite calling them again and again!!! Sales were excellent. After care, diabolical.

I was an air conditioning installer for glow green and I'm shocked that when glow green don't deliver the air conditioning unit to site they refuse to pay for a lost day when they fail to deliver the equipment when they said they would disgusting bunch of bandits don't use them.

Ongoing complain and noting been done about it. The installer take a short cut and did not used the new installation kit (set of new valves) that came with the boiler, I requested to keep the installation kit that came with the boiler but the installer too it away. I contact Glow Green 3 time and they promised to return the kit back, 3 month after still waiting.

After fitting my boiler i found that the thermostat and heating control panel are not connected properly. After 9 calls to date nothing has been resolved, No call back as i have been told by customer services. Believe i am being paid lip service after 6 weeks after installation. Guess they have their award for Fobbing customer's off!

Installed a boiler a year go with a new gas run that was so poorly installed it caused a gas leak at the meter. Had to call British Gas Emergency out to sort the leak. They are now chasing me for £300 payment for the gas run that caused the leak.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Fitting seemed OK at the time...1 month later random call from a bloke saying "do you remember me?" I said no..."don't you remember me"? No! Who are you? " I fit your boiler"...they won't pay me until i put on an outside flue...(WTF) I want my money so can I come and fit it now? I told him I wouldn't be at the property until Tuesday (he called me Thursday/Friday) between 10 and 12pm. He then gave me a stroppy, well it will have to be Tuesday morning then coz I want my money! Guess what..he didn't turn up. I called Glow Green..no managers available but they can see its an issue on the system and a manager is chasing it so they will get back to me ASAP and of course their sorry I heard it from him and not them first. Guess what.. No call back! I call back the next day and I'm asked for the engineers name. They actually dont know the name of the person that was sent to my house!! British Gas would know the name of the person because of safety/having children in the property etc. I called again the next day. Kept being asked for the name of the guy they sent to my house!! A useless general manager called Anthony hung up the phone on me when I was annoyed he kept asking me for the engineers name despite me already telling him that I had no idea and was shocked they didn't know who they sent to my house. I called back and was told no manager is available and phone hung up on me again! I'm now speaking to Harry (who is trying to be helpful) and have been on hold for around 5 minutes (and counting) while he tries to find a competent manager (doubt this will happen). I was also told by one person that there is an outside flu on my installation...not sure why the guy that fitted it told me he needs to come back and do it then and why the first person I spoke to in customer services apologised for Glow Green not telling me about this issue before the engineer called me. At least Harry took me off hold to say he's still trying to find the appropriate manager for me. Do you really want to spend your time being insulted by nitwits who you've already given your cash and good online review to? Want to worry whether or not you and your family are breathing in fumes that should be going outside? Don't be me..spend the extra and go with British Gas. It will cost you less in the end and could save your life. Oh and Google Glow Green Mumsnet for random reviews from every day families that have used Glow Green. Avoid!!!

**AVOID** **AVOID** **AVOID** **AVOID** HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET 5 STARS? I ordered a Combi Boiler and paid the deposit. The engineer arrived to fit the boiler. He tells me there is a major gas leak in my property. I paid £85 for a check and there is no gas leak. If you complain to Glow Green you get an email back telling you the call has been assigned and they will get back to you. Adam Customer Complaints Leon Customer Relations Robert I wonder if one of you might get back to me about the full refund and the £85. When I phone the same answer, "the manager has the details", "I will get back to you" guess what NOTHING!!! Grow Green it is so easy to get a bad reputation and so difficult to get a good one.

Boiler fitted by a young lad who left a finished job where the condensate pipe was not fitted correctly resulting in leaking water on worktop.pipe was not fitted at a level for the waste water to flow out.company wanted to charge £160 to look at the problem.

I reported a leak after a new boiler installation. and reported it was causing damage to plastered ceiling and walls. each day I keep getting told someone will call me to arrange repair. four days later still waiting.

I was, at first happy with the service and left a five star review. But now? Absolutely not happy at all. We noticed a leak after the installation and have sent numerous emails and made numerous calls to rectify the situation and despite being promised prompt attention nothings been done. It’s been over two weeks now. We are paying this on a payment plan so the only option left open to me is to stop payment until the leak is fixed. This is not good customer service!!

Dreadful at everything else I have a request in them currently as my central heating has failed, I’ve been assigned an engineer that quite frankly couldn’t give a damm! No reply’s to my emails and when I do get hold of him he just fobbed me off.. I’m guessing they out source their engineers so if you get a devil may care guy like I did God help you!!

We decided to go with glow green. A year ago. Paid £3000 for a boiler . Could get the same boiler for £2000! But I thought it’s a good company. Well after a year the pressure in my boiler is high . We bleed the radiation but it’s still show 2.5 bar! Phone then a week ago still Did not do anything about my problem. Phoned them again and I told the guy what he read back to me it wrong . He was going on for 15 minutes how aggressive and abusing I am to him as I dear to correct him the details. He did send a message to the women who deals with my problem. Again 3 days later nothing happened. I had to phone an plumber to fix my problem as Lovely glows green refused to do anything even my boiler is under warranty!
