Had a new boiler fitted in December. Still no clue how it works . Engineer has been out several times as Glow green sent him several times for different reasons. Wanted another £250. to replace pipe inside house but the engineer cleaned the old pipe and Said it was fine now. He has shown me several times how to program the boiler but it doesn’t go off unless I turn the boiler off at source which means I either have no hot water or heating or hot water and heating so it is costing a lot of money if I don’t turn it off at the source. I would like to get just hot water without the heating on ! I have turned the thermostat on some radiator s off as I get too hot but wish I could operate it manually as the program unit will not do what I want it to do. Wish I had had my other boiler repaired as it was just 10 years old and easy to use and the new one is a nightmare to try and set and still can’t work it after a couple of months. What will I do in summer when I don’t want the heating on ?

Great fitter competent friendly.he gets 5* Unfortunately first fitter cancelled Had to take two days unpaid leave As re scheduled . Not a word from glowgreen No apology.

Overall very good. Smooth installation no issues. Good communication. The only negative point I'd say is that the electrician removed the wall plug to hard wire the boiler which is fine but left us without a plug in the at side of the kitchen. Other than that no issues.

The installation was fraught with confusion resulting in extra cost and the engineer knew only how to mount the Aircon unit and had no idea how it worked and didn’t even know which app applied to the unit

Good sales team. Good sub contractted electrician. Dreadful office, unable to get through and always someone new dealing with an issue or unable to sort it. Office seems to be focused on the paper work to cover their back and not customer service. Happy with final product but concerned if we need to deal with the office again.

The survey was not accurate, i.e. it was done using Google Earth(?) and on the day of the installation the (very good) engineers had to change the design such that I had to have less panels than I ordered. The post-implementation service has proved to not be very good, i.e. my battery stopped working after 2 weeks but the support team has neither fixed the problem, nor, more important, have they even given me any kind of update or feedback as to when or how they will fix the problem.

After sales service is diabolical. No thermostat fitted on boiler though paid for. (It is now illegal to fit a boiler without a thermostat). Company promised to sort it. Still waiting 2 weeks on. It appears the left hand not knowing what right is doing.

Boiler installation was re-arranged 3 times, twice on the day, which was very inconvenient. Sales team were great. Engineer was good except bedroom floor has not been put back properly.

Three stars is the average of 5 stars and 1 star. First the 5 star part. Glow green recently serviced my boiler and fixed my central heating. They did an excellent job. Very happy indeed. Now the 1 star part. They don't have enough people on the phones (I suspect they may actually have ZERO people on the phones). Consequently if one rings them it can be 10 minutes or 20 minutes or even 30 minutes before you get a reply. They also don't have enough engineers. They are not upfront about this, but the fact is that it took 2 months between my reporting a problem with my central heating and someone doing anything about it.

Glow Green had a very good design service and lead in was efficient. the sub contracted team of installers were excellent and would recommend them to anyone. After install service has been poor

I am not very satisfied, you delayed the installation of my boiler by almost a month. Since the boiler was installed, I have no electricity in the kitchen, because the boiler was not connected properly. After the work process was completed, you were supposed to take the old boiler and the boxes from the new one, and this did not happen.No one had told me that you would damage the wall, you can see the ugly pipe in the attached photo...I'm sorry, but I'm not satisfied, I hope at least the boiler won't have any problems with it.

The fitting went well enough but the engineer forgot to plug in my washing machine leaving me without washing facilities for a whole week because he would not come back back after phoning him every day, . I had to find a person closer to my home to pull out the washing machine to plug it in costing me £25 whitch the engineer said he would cover but nothing has appeared yet 2 weeks after the event

My initial enquiry was handled well, but a mistake in the exclusion of the scaffold price - that would have made them non-competitive - went into a long wrangle, with them even offering to take back the equipment and cancel the contract because of their mistake. The (subcontracted) installation team was very good and installed a much tidier panel layout than GG's Google Maps design - I could easily have fitted twelve rather than ten panels. Equipment delivery is by pallet truck - and with no warning - so if you have a gravel (or not perfectly even) drive the stuff is left kerbside. Nice to know when you've got a £4k battery sitting unprotected in a public space. And, bizarrely for an environmental company, on a plastic pallet that doesn't fit in a car for disposal. My local tip charged me £6 to take it. The scaffolding issue meant eight weeks of equipment sitting around waiting for access - and of course, the onus had been switched to me by then. Thanks for that. Eventually, I sourced the local scaffolders (at a quarter of the GG estimated cost) and they agreed to pay just 50% of that - so only an eighth of the cost they had actually committed to (and confirmed as their mistake when they reviewed the call recordings. Their phone system is a mess - a single number for everyone and you can never speak to the right person. Departments don't speak to each other, so you will get lots of calls from different people on the same (or random, unconnected) topics. Bearing in mind they supply the same - mainly imported - kit as everyone else, any cost premium is in the service, which is where I thought they fell down badly. Overall, the system as installed seems to work well, but I'd think long and hard about using GG again. It started and ended really well, but the middle was really muddled and at times, disingenuous.
