STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ....I would recommend everyone to stay away from this absolutely rubbish company. I paid 3500 for an upto date boiler as I moved into a new home in Andover even though my old boiler was brilliant and in working condition I wanted an up to date boiler. The sales team kept calling me being very helpful to get a sale as they knew I was going to pay one lump sum. They sent an engineer out to fit my boiler who left a total mess behind with not finishing the job properly by leaving hazards behind such as pipes not taken out knowing I’ve got a 2 year old son. It was a two day job and the engineer rushed his way through the job and couldn’t wait to get home both days he was here .he didn’t carry out the job correctly left some radiators to stop working and left a leak to one of the pipes. I kept calling glow green they would keep promising me false promises that someone will be out to come correct the issue after one week the man came back to say that he has come to collect his pipes that he dumped in my garden and to collect bricks I said to him hold on you need to correct your job not just attend my property to come clean the mess up as he left even bigger problems behind such as un cut pipes and a leak. The engineer didn’t seem happy about this and was disputing that he is only here to collect his mess and wasn’t informed by glow green however at the end he sorted the problem out after accusing us that maybe we must of touched something when in fact these problems did not occur before having this new boiler installed. We had a thermostat that you could control using WiFi which the sales team kept telling us to have and recommended this to us as it was more expensive after being bought into there lies and being sold this we started getting problems with this and errors kept coming up so we contacted glow green to install a different thermostat which you don’t need to control using mobile phone. They sent a different engineer after three weeks after keep calling them and chasing them up. The engineer turned up very late in the evening in a rush and changed the thermostat however him being unprofessional and most likely not knowing what he is doing didn’t set it up accurately which left us without any heating for a whole week. I kept calling glow green to ask them what is going on and when the engineer will be out to fix the problem as we have no heating and I am 8 months pregnant with a two year old son they kept telling me lies that someone will come out each day I waited at home and no one would turn up. I still kept calling them with them still telling me that someone will definitely be out on sat 5/12/2020 however no one turned up so I gave them a call at 5pm and all they had to say was that they close soon and couldn’t do anything so left me without heating for a further two days. This caused myself and my two year old son to become very ill as the temperature was below 0. This company knew that I am 8 months pregnant and have a two year old son but didn’t show any sympathy or concern rather than cause us major stress and discomfort in our house knowing that the temperatures have gone down and that we would freeze. I would recommend everyone to avoid this company as all they are good for is causing stress I was better of going with British Gas who know about customer service and are a reputable company unlike glow green who are money making cons putting up a false professional act when in fact there is nothing professional about them and they deserve to close down. How can this company be satisfied knowing they have put an 8 month pregnant women in stress and a 2 year old to catch a flu you should be ashamed of your company and your false lies. Tomorrow is another day so I am waiting on tomorrow to see if anyone shows up but I probably be let down again like all the other days and all the good comments you are reading on here left by customers is probably the company writing it themselves as they are no way as good as what is being mentioned and all the negative comments relate to exactly what’s happened to me.

Unfortunately I’ve had a very bad experience with glow green , 4 weeks had a Bolier installed only for pcb to start smoking , but replaced by Bolier manufacture VAILANT , then engineer was to come back as soon as part was replaced to commission Bolier and make sure it was safe to use and everything was okay ,after so many calls and emails to the customer service teams , I kept getting tickets numbet from different people but issue never resolved, then the fourth week after boiler installation and part replaced , one of the managers called saying matter would be resolved ASAP ,my issue was given to a customer team person who said he would get same engineer to come and commission and make sure everything is okay , the team person was emailing calling the engineer but no response, then after 1 day he emailed saying he would make contact with the tenant to arrange time and date for him to come round , but two days later he still hasn’t contacted the tenant, it’s such a shame that this one engineer is runing the reputation of glow green ltd , I’ve just given up on them totally . Really disappointed with the customer service I’ve received

Sales people are good at selling their product. But they use sub-contracting companies. Electricians and Gas Safe Engineers may not be from the same sub-contractor. Had new boiler fitted during the COVID pandemic as mine was broken. Also I was in shielding. Gas Safe Engineers (two of them) came took hours to fit new boiler. To be informed that an electrician needed to come along to do the wiring, when this had been done they would come back. They came back the following day bypassed something to finish off their work (so they say I found out later they fitted the boiler wrongly hot & cold pipes the wrong way round). 5 days later electrician turned up to do the wiring informed that it needed a part and would ring this through for ordering. Then another electrician would need to install. I was told that the boiler would work. 5 minutes after him leaving I turned on the heating and straightaway - failure code. 3 days later part arrived. A day later another electrician came out fitted the part then informed me that the boiler had not been fitted correctly. I was not happy to say the least, and that after three visits I was at the point of remove it and take it away. He informed me that as well as being qualified electrician he was also a gas safe engineer and could correct the issues but would need to contact his boss. He rang his boss (sub-contractor) Who said that really he should not do this work but the electrician informed him that it was 10 days of me waiting from first engineers coming out and being messed about and it was cold. He boss rang - Glowgreen (out of hours department that deal with installations). That gave the go ahead for the work to take place. (I was happy to override Glowgreen and would have done so! Irrespective of warranty issues -problem needed resolving immediately or take the damn thing away). The electrician Reece (Lovely guy) spent a further two plus hours that evening changing over the hot & cold pipe issue that had been fitted wrongly. He made sure I had hot water and heat and that the boiler was not going to fault code. I had numerous emails back and forth with Glowgreen, who were more than useless. I also rang the company who did nothing but give excuses. I am the client I don't care for the excuses they needed to deliver their service in a professional manner which was certainly not happening. I took numerous days off work for this and for numerous people to be in and out of my home during the COVID period whilst I was in shielding is just ridiculous. I was given the sum total of £75 for my stress and anxiety which I find an insult. They need to look at how they use subcontractors and make sure that the same subcontracting company does the whole job from beginning to end. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. I personally would NOT recommend Glowgreen - AVOID!!

Sale person was so keen and friendly before getting me on board by phoning me constantly. He didnt tell me the whole truth about taking the loan. Engineer didnt do the work according to the contract and threatened me on the day of installation. He rushed a 2 days of job in 1 day and left the damage to my property. Please avoid this company and dont take the loan by trusting their staff who trick you into taking the loan so the company could get paid before you are satisfied with the service then they got you under their thump. Once the boiler is installed, no matter what a rubbish work, you will be ignored because they got money from you anyway. Avoid by all means.

Many calls and an email have not resolved the issues with my non-functioning radiators. I honestly don’t know how to get glow green to fix these problems. Very diappointed anfd freezing cold. The house was warmer with the old boiler. Don’t know why I bothered.

Would not recommend at all. unprofessional , can't trust . Boiler fitted in November called in april since overheating. Promised to be called on the day .they called after more than 48hrs. Will get someone else to look at it definitely not glowgreen

The worst company I have ever dealt with! We were due to have a cylinder removed and get a combi boiler fit in. I had paid a 50% deposit and was told to send over pictures of the old boiler for the engineer to have a look at. I took these pictures and tried to send them in the link provided which didn't work, so I rang up to see how to send over the pictures or whether I needed a new link, to then be told not to bother taking the pictures as they only require them for oil boilers. Much to my surprise I received an email urgently needing the pictures the day before they were scedhulded to fit the boiler, I managed to get these across ready for them to come the next day. We were told this would be a 2 day job and had it was scheduled for the 17th and 18th of Nov. I recieved an email at 9pm the night before they were due to come stating they had no engineers available and they had automatically rescheduled it for the 19th and 20th. I had specifically taken time off work for the time we had been given, just for it to be cancelled. Thankfully I managed to get the 20th off work and was told someone would be arriving between 8-10 that morning. It got to 10.30 and nobody had arrived, except the boiler that was dropped off by courier that we weren't aware of, and this was just left on a tote outside the house that was too heavy to carry myself inside. I then rang glow green to see why nobody had turned up and to be informed when someone would be doing down, just to be then told they have no engineers available again and they rescheduled for the 25th and 26th of November. This is whilst the boiler package was still outside of the house. I then decided to just cancel the service with the company and get the boiler to be picked up and a refund issued. I was then told someone would come on the 21st to pick up the boiler, no surprise, they didn't. Then was told it would be the 24th, which is tomorrow. I have rang them today to follow this up to confirm someone will be coming to pick up the boiler tomorrow so I can get my 50% deposit back, just to then be told nobody will be available AGAIN! There seems to be a serious lack of communication between colleagues at this company and nobody seems to know what they are doing or can give an update or help at all. You will have to constantly chase them up just to speak to someone who isn't very sure. This company is nothing but stress and I wouldn't reccomend at all! As it stands all I want is my refund and this boiler picking up and even that seems to be a struggle for them to do.

If there was a minus Stars I would give this company 10! From the start they have incorrectly quoted me on 3 occasions. Despite numerous photographs and measurements provided on the day of first installation I was told I could not have the quoted boiler as the flue was too long. The engineer then provided further details to install a different model. I accepted this quote however when the installation was booked they had failed to add the correct flue to the new quote. I was then provided another quote which again was wrong! emails remain unanswered and calling results in long waiting periods and then either getting cut off or been told the person cannot assist! After 3 days I speak to a Manager who once again cannot take ownership and advises he will provide my details to another team! 2 weeks into an order with a Company Website promising a 48 hour install I am now looking at another delayed installation date and additional cost for my scaffolding! What an absolutely useless company who cannot admit to their numerous errors, a single Management individual who could take ownership and resolve. I have unfortunately have to stay with them as at this stage trying to obtain another quote will further delay my scaffolding. Keep this posted!

If you are thinking of who could get you the best price to quality boiler installation I STRONGLY recommend against Glow Green. I have first hand experience as I am their client. In the summer time our old boiler started to work funny and we thought that its best to either get it fixed or get a new one. Fixing the old boiler proved to be too expensive without guarantee it would work for long so we had to take money out of our emergency cash. Glow Green with their perfect reviews was the best choice after we saw the quote that was also better than others could give us. *The installation by Glow Green was a whole other convoluted story of absolutely inadequate customer service*. Installation was in AUGUST. It is now November and there is no hot water and radiators are not working. That boiler might be as well a wall decoration. Glow Green sent us their contractor engineer several times (same person who installed it) to try and fix the leaking boiler pipe. It was leaking outside on the communal staircase and corridor and flooding that area, the engineer was impossible to deal with - unprofessional, not responding to messages, saying he would come on a certain date/time and not showing up, then show up without telling us out of the blue. Finally when I told Glow Green that I will make an official complaint and write a review here (which seems to be the only thing they care about) the manager agreed to send another engineer hired by Glow Green supposedly with more experience. After examination he said that the first engineer kept installing pipes the opposite way..every single time he tried to fix it. However that new engineer made is all even worse. No working boiler and no response. Maybe not September, October and not November but December will be the lucky month when Glow Green decides to fix the boiler they tried to install in August. If you want a warm house this winter choose somebody else, possibly anyone else. Hope you have better luck than us.

I would not reccomend this company, horrible custumer service, I was left 4 days with istallation not completed with no heating and hot water, lost days of work waiting invane for someone to came and complete the job, the only things this company is good at it is taking your money. Very stressful experience very disappointed!

Had a boiler installed at my rental property on the 13th July 2020. Since then my tenant has informed me that they have to bleed the radiators and that they aren’t heating properly. After several months, it was identified that the boiler was not installed correctly: flow & return are the wrong way round and the feed & vent are piped up wrong. I have been trying to get an engineer to come out and fix this issue since the 5th Nov (the one on the 21st oct didn’t notice the issue and blamed the pump). It’s been 5 days and no communication from them. I have called numerous times as well. My tenant is still without heating or hot water and they don’t seem to be doing anything. Very disappointed as I had used them 4 years ago to instal a boiler at my old flat. Would not recommend or use again in future.

Installation of boiler made by two engineers on January 2020 !!!!!!!!!! Glow green should be ashamed. After they finish installation they left our home. We find few issue like a gas leaking, water leaking and no hot water. After the phone call to Glow Green engineers refuse to come back the same day because he finish job for that day. he come back next day at 8 am. People don`t leave at risk your family life and health like we done because we did not notice the potential threat. Please react straight away. After complain I receive respond: In light of the inconvenience you suffered, as well as the further time it took to finalise your installation, I have authorised a £25.00 gesture of goodwill payment to exhibit Glow Green's best intentions. Please respond to this email with your bank details so we can process these funds. Other things!!!!!!! Purchase of boiler was ok but forgot to mention about exchanging SMART THERMOSTAT & HOT WATER CONTROL which is very important for better performance of the boiler.

Please don't waste time with this company Boiler not installed to Worcester manufacturers spec. List of schoolboy errors. Left boiler exposed to weather and void of warrantee. Had it reinstalled by a Worcester accredited engineer direct into the house as per spec prefect. Three days cost £3.330. Taking Glow green to court to recover money. I only found out the problems after calling out my local plumber he pointed out the errors and suggested I call in an accredited Worcester engineer. Six weeks trying to get sense out of this company. Seven different people contacting me. NOTHING constructive. My question would be how many of those who have given five star to Glowgreen know that their boiler has been properly installed. Some I am sure will be sitting on a problem waiting to happen. If you have a serious problem take them to a SCC and make them pay. i

Frankly I wouldn't give you a star at all, only if there were minus stars. At this you would surely win a prize ! This is the worst Company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. With a boiler fitted about 12 weeks ago I am still waiting for an engineer to fit a replacement box with which to control my c/h. Currently I have no heating at all. The first was faulty, the second finally arrived but nobody to fit it has materialized, though I have been complaining for some long time.
