Engineers drained my system from a radiator in the hallway. They failed to connect it back together properly, therefore the radiator leaked and soaked my hall carpet. They eventually returned a few weeks later and tightened the connection. However, the leak has stained my carpet and Glow Green are not taking responsibility for the engineers incompetence. Will never recommend this company

Award winning at nothing! I had a boiler installation which I was told 2 days, well they removed my old one and the new one was nowhere to be seen! 2days later it turns up but left with a very large hole in the wall and the room literally covered in dirt! Oh and the used my rug to pull my boiler outside on because it was heavy! Which destroyed my rug as you can imagine. Once all was done done 7days later the hole in the wall was left there and I had to get it bricked up! Disgusting! Constantly having to call them through this and being fobbed off, got someone out and the capped me off and put a big sticker on boiler (DANGEROUS) !! 2 days later someone came out to put it right. A year on has just been problems with this company! Expansion module failed causing the boiler to pressurise to its max! And now the roof has been leaking where they installed the flu and chucked cement around a plastic pipe that gets hot and cold šŸ¤”...... that now been waiting for repair for 3 months with constant dates but no one shows or a call from the engineer to say they haven’t got ladders so they won’t be able to do it!! The company is a joke I’m going to head down the path of legal proceedings.

Avoid Glow Green. They installed a boiler October 2017. Gas engineer not tidy. Didn't put things back and there was a small water leak from the pipe which he did fix some days later. At least it worked though. Our main problem was with the annual service of the boiler which in their glossy brochure made out the aftercare was so good and they would ring us to book a service each year, so we didn't have to worry. What a joke. It has been nothing but worry and they put the price up each year on our monthly direct debit. Each annual service has been a series of me having to book a service. They never phoned us and we have been constantly let down on dates with them not turning up and weeks later finally getting someone. This last one we had just had enough. Was told Andy would ring us to sort out our direct debit cancellation. Well hadn't heard from him the next day and decided to cancel direct debit our end. We did get a phonecall from Andy on the Monday 21st December 2020 saying he could see we had cancelled our direct debit . He sounded very sympathetic and said of course he would reimburse us for the unfulfilled service last year. Well it never happened. Everything has gone silent from Glow Green. It is now 23rd January 2020 and we have still not been reimbursed.bi sent a letter to Andy reminding him of his promise on 21st December to reimburse us. Nothing. Silence from him. We have since had a local gas engineer service our boiler. Very reliable and efficient. As long as you have boiler serviced annually with a gas safety registered engineer then Worcester Bosch will honour the warranty. You don't need to stay with Glow Green for the warranty to count. In fact we had Worcester Bosch out recently free of charge. Prompt and efficient. PLease avoid Glow Green Ltd. Nothing but stress with that company. Julia C by

Absolutely appalling company. I have not had a working boiler since the 20th of December, so have been without central heating or hot water for one month, in the middle of winter, due to a succession of incompetency's by Glow Green. My initial booking to have a new boiler installed was on the 6th of January. On the 4th of January I got an email to say the job was being postponed to the 13th of January, with no explanation given. After phoning them and begging for an earlier installation, they agreed to send someone on the 7th of January instead. On the 7th of January, one man turned up, said it was too big a job and that there has been no proper survey, and left. (Even though I had already told them this and sent photographs, and pre-paid half the cost for the job.) After spending a very long time waiting on the phone to speak to the installation team, they agreed to come on Monday 11th January. The person who came on the 11th did a very thorough assessment, decided where the new boiler would go and explained it would need a roofer, after which they left and the job was rebooked in for Monday 18th January. On Monday 18th January no-one arrived. I rang Glow Green at 10:30 to see where they were, and they said they were probably just stuck in traffic. At 11:30am I rang again, and they said actually no-one was coming as they had forgotten to book a roofer. They then rebooked the job for today, Wednesday 20th January, and the roofer arrived at 8:30am, but no plumbers turned up. Additionally, the fitter had only been booked by Glow Green for 2 days, and the job may take longer. In short, I am still without a working boiler, and have been left in limbo by Glow Green. The service from Glow Green has been absolutely appalling. They have happily taken payment for half the cost of the job, but been completely inept about getting the job actually done. They have shown no regard for the situation they have placed us in, and no customer service at all. The mental and emotional strain of all this mess on myself and my husband has been huge, and my husband is already in a very vulnerable state. He had a severe stroke 18 months ago, then spent 4 months in hospital and rehab, and has a number of health issues include diabetes and severe anxiety disorder. This situation has had a severe impact on his mental health. I would recommend anyone to steer well clear of this company, and wish I had never booked them.

Worst company ever! 12 months ago we enquired to get our boiler and plumbing fixed which included a new hot water tank, and additional plumbing, initial price to swap boiler only was £2300, then the additional elements totalling £3000. The following day I obtained quote from two other providers both came in £2500. The day after I spoke with the same agent R P and he said he could price match if I sent the quote in. I said I have it on email and he said that was fine. On the 1st day of the job they raised the price to £3600, amended a finance agreement and sent it to randomly me partner. This is a breach of gdpr, a breach of the FCA. They never completed the job, closed my complaint without entering in to dialogue, and blocked me from communicating my issues without any justification. 12 months on bullish behaviour, trying to enter my property when my partner is Clinically High risk to covid, and have now set up another finance agreement with a different provider with out my knowledge. Avoid this company at all costs!

We went online to get a quote uploaded pictures as requested and was happy with service provided. However once we had signed a contract for the boiler to fitted to our requirements the company then called us back to discus our pictures. they left 1 message i tried to call back no one answered the call. So i left to them to get back to me after all this was the friday 15th Jan 2021 before our boiler was being fitted on the monday 18th Jan 2021 !! Monday came no one came between 8am-10am as advised. I called them and they had cancelled the order as we didnt call them back. So we were supposed to chase around, confirm they would arrive, check boiler etc surely that should have been done before we signed a contract !! then 10.30am Monday we had a delivery for boiler parts and 12,30 boiler arrived but the order had been cancelled by them, and if they were going to fit 8am, surely the parts should have arrived before 10.30- 12.30!! so none of that made sense. I called to make sure our contract was cancelled and they tried to get us to do a new quote ! Im still waiting for an ensil to confirm its cancelled !! This company is unprofessional and i wouldnt reccommend them to anyone. How can you sign a contract then cancel it without telling the customer, deliver all the products then have then re collected or Sign contracts and then put prices up !!

This was, without doubt, the very worst experience I have ever had, dealing with trades people. Multiple cancelled Installation dates, with little or no notice. In the end I went elsewhere to have my Boiler Installation. Glow Green Ltd. did not respond to any communications or complaints I made, neither did they try and resolve any of the Issues. DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL!!

Was supposed to have boiler fitted on 18th December only to be told that day was taken next date was 22nd December was told engineer for that date at 10.00am would now not come because of personal circumstances. Next available date was 6th jan. Two engineers turned up and two days later yes I have a boiler and heating but now no gas to gas cooker. Spent two days trying to get some one out either numerous phone calls but to no avail. On top of that the engineers have made a complete mess with pipe work to the boiler. Luckily it is in the downstairs toilet but have had to get a decorator in to try and make it look nice which has cost another £500. Although the pipe work is horrific. I personally would not use this company again. Yes the people at the end of the phone are courteous but never keep you posted.

Took our money but didn’t do anything else. We contacted Glow Green on Nov 30th, they were really quick to take our money but straight after the radio silence started. They never managed to get the right kind of engineer on site, even though we specified exactly what they needed for the job. This went on for more than two weeks, no hot water, no heating, with a 1 year baby, calling the number everyday, nobody calling us back. I actually went back to the call history, and it’s a grand total of 4 hours and 48 min spent on the phone with them (or waiting), when you can reach them, because nobody seems to know what’s happening there. Boiler gets delivered, scaffolding team comes but no engineer, and vise versa. We have now cancelled the job and it’s been a week of relentless phone call to get them to come pick up their boiler so we can get our money back and move on. Right now we can’t hire another company because Glow Green is keeping our money until they deign pick up their boiler, so as it’s stands we still have no hot water or heating. The amount of professionalism there is abyssal, it might actually be a scam, so save yourself and go with anybody else.

The sails man new we had no heat or hot water. He promised Tuesday it came on Thursday. As you can imagine we were very cold and had to borrow a heater. I have since heard others who have said the sails people made delivery promises they did not meet. I would never recommend buying your New Boiler from a company who's delivery promises are rearly met.

Nightmare again - awaiting for repair almost 2 month. It is maybe leaking only but problem for me. Every 2 days I need to check the bowl under leaking part. They lost a ticket when order a part. They will order part again.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! These good reviews must be fake had terrible experience with them. Sales team was fantastic in doing their job sold me valliant 30kw boiler with installation for a good price. Install was booked for 09/12/2020 8am-10am. Took day off from work and boiler arrived in the morning with no engineer. Called them at 1030 glow green telling me they thought engineer has started installation of the new boiler. Told them well im in my house and theirs no engineer here. They said they will call him and find out. 1hr later i call them they said engineer should be with you. 12.30pm no engineer called them again they tell me they cant get hold of him and dont know what happed. Told glow green that i have a 1 yr old son and 5yr old daughter at home who suffers from asthma also my wife who suffers from severe asthma and cold house is not good for them so i need this boiler installed and working asap so they Rebooked for installation for next day which had to take another day off from work. engineer arrived can see him on my drive shaking his head as he is looking at the roof where the flu pipe comes out. Went outside and asked him if his the engineer said yes but unfortunately he wont be installing my new boiler as his ladders not long enough. He said his going back to his van to make a call but drove off with out informing me whats happening. On the phone again when i got through customer service saying they are just a call handler will pass me over to scheduling when i spoke to them they said a manager will call me when he did call after few hours told me definitely engineer will sort this out and they are sending their best man but it will be monday which i agreed and i will be compensated for this. Monday come patiently waiting but no engineer. Called glow green at 10.30 scheduling team and manager on meeting will call me when they are done. Waited 4 hours still no call and then decided to get my money back. Told them they better come and pick their boiler this week and refund me my deposit £1175 or else i will be taking legal actions against them they arrived the following day and collected their boiler and refund was issued to me and no compensation for taking time off from work or my troubles. Please heed my advice and do not go with Glow Green. I chose to have my boiler and heating system re-done with them for a cost of over Ā£1000 more than a local installer due to their supposed good reputation and reliability. However, this is now money down the drain. Not only did the initial install get cancelled the night before or the morning of on two occasions, when they finally arrived (after much pushing on my side to ensure the right person was coming), they completed half the job without booking a follow-up. Glow Green then took the remainder of the charge from my card without my consent or even notification, despite the works not even be close to complete, and refused to refund me. I didn’t even give them consent to store these card details so be careful. After the first part of the install, the hot water stopped working and I had to call them multiple times a day for three weeks to try and get someone round to have a look, let alone get a follow-up installation date booked in. Every day of this with a two-year-old was torture and caused great stress and anxiety. Throughout that three week period, I was promised on two further occasions that someone would turn up to complete the job, but they did not. Prior to each one of those missed appointments Glow Green had the nerve to phone me and ask for more money to be paid in advance. Side note: it transpired (which I discovered only after I requested a SAR) that the reason for these delays was that Glow Green had not paid a large amount of money due to the plumber for previous jobs, so he just wanted reassurances that he would get paid. That Glow Green failed to provide that, and we were the ones impacted, is shocking. Throughout this ordeal, only their complaint handler Adam, who I presume had me on speed dial the number of times we need to interact without things moving, seemed to take this seriously. And although he escalated to upper management numerously, nothing was down very fast despite us having no hot water. At a very cold time of year. They left the job unfinished, having installed the tank and not even attempted to put the cupboard back together. I was told by them that within their T's and C's they could destroy as much of the property as they needed to complete the installation, and were not accountable for even trying to put it back. I have raised my case to both the Furniture and Home Ombudsman as well as the Financial Ombudsman such are the breaches of trust and service by Glow Green and their lack of accountability in the resolution. Please, I implore, you look elsewhere.

I wouldn't recommend Glow Green. I had a new boiler and 3 radiators fitted. The first engineer turned up and said it was a 3 day job and he'd only been allocated 1 day so it was aborted. The next engineer turned up a week later and took 4 days. There were problems afterwards which took weeks to fix. The customer support/service team are unresponsive.

1) You installed 4 defects in my home. 2) Your engineers left my home twice knowing there were defects. 3) It took for Gas Safe Report for GlowGreen to rectify the issues. 4) My wife and baby have had to leave the home multiple times so engineers can complete work. 5) Workman have turned up with no time agreed 6) I have lost 2 annual leave days. GlowGreen told me work would take 2 days to complete 7) Have had to rely on my work being flexible in order for me to take these phone calls and multiple engineer visits 8) Materials left at my home and in my loft 9) Multiple Phonecalls by your staff asking me about work being completed (when workman hadn't even turned up) 10) I had to purchase a new shower system at extra expense to us. GlowGreen did not inform us we would need to do this when purchasing a new boiler. 11) Brickwork was damaged by engineers, remains were just left outside our home. Roofer visited and did not replace any brickwork (Callum had agreed brickwork would be replaced and cement would be used to fill in gap) A large amount of cement was used to fill the external flue gap as well as broken brickwork. PHOTO WAS SENT TO GLOW GREEN the same day.

So 23 days late and on the 7th attempt my boiler was installed! However only because the installers job had been cancelled as my installer was not available. Great guy, not his fault he arrived late with no idea about the job. Initially still no confirmed roofer and he had to then order the missing flues for the job. Eventually at about 6:30 pm they left. I still find it inconceivable that various sections cannot speak to each other and promised calls by various managers to me have still not taken place. I recommend them to another resident and same story in an incorrect quote and an increase which she denied and cancelled. I have still not been contacted by the mysterious Complaints Department and was only called following the negative review I provided! The only reason I give 1 star is that after everything I was put through I was provided with a discount which unfortunately does not compensate for the numerous emails and phone calls I made. They do not seem to have their own engineers, who are only paid on a successful install regardless of who may cause a failed installation. I am stuck with them for my servicing and am already dreading a call for a future service. Seems and pardon the pun, but only glowing reports feature!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ....I would recommend everyone to stay away from this absolutely rubbish company. I paid 3500 for an upto date boiler as I moved into a new home in Andover even though my old boiler was brilliant and in working condition I wanted an up to date boiler. The sales team kept calling me being very helpful to get a sale as they knew I was going to pay one lump sum. They sent an engineer out to fit my boiler who left a total mess behind with not finishing the job properly by leaving hazards behind such as pipes not taken out knowing I’ve got a 2 year old son. It was a two day job and the engineer rushed his way through the job and couldn’t wait to get home both days he was here .he didn’t carry out the job correctly left some radiators to stop working and left a leak to one of the pipes. I kept calling glow green they would keep promising me false promises that someone will be out to come correct the issue after one week the man came back to say that he has come to collect his pipes that he dumped in my garden and to collect bricks I said to him hold on you need to correct your job not just attend my property to come clean the mess up as he left even bigger problems behind such as un cut pipes and a leak. The engineer didn’t seem happy about this and was disputing that he is only here to collect his mess and wasn’t informed by glow green however at the end he sorted the problem out after accusing us that maybe we must of touched something when in fact these problems did not occur before having this new boiler installed. We had a thermostat that you could control using WiFi which the sales team kept telling us to have and recommended this to us as it was more expensive after being bought into there lies and being sold this we started getting problems with this and errors kept coming up so we contacted glow green to install a different thermostat which you don’t need to control using mobile phone. They sent a different engineer after three weeks after keep calling them and chasing them up. The engineer turned up very late in the evening in a rush and changed the thermostat however him being unprofessional and most likely not knowing what he is doing didn’t set it up accurately which left us without any heating for a whole week. I kept calling glow green to ask them what is going on and when the engineer will be out to fix the problem as we have no heating and I am 8 months pregnant with a two year old son they kept telling me lies that someone will come out each day I waited at home and no one would turn up. I still kept calling them with them still telling me that someone will definitely be out on sat 5/12/2020 however no one turned up so I gave them a call at 5pm and all they had to say was that they close soon and couldn’t do anything so left me without heating for a further two days. This caused myself and my two year old son to become very ill as the temperature was below 0. This company knew that I am 8 months pregnant and have a two year old son but didn’t show any sympathy or concern rather than cause us major stress and discomfort in our house knowing that the temperatures have gone down and that we would freeze. I would recommend everyone to avoid this company as all they are good for is causing stress I was better of going with British Gas who know about customer service and are a reputable company unlike glow green who are money making cons putting up a false professional act when in fact there is nothing professional about them and they deserve to close down. How can this company be satisfied knowing they have put an 8 month pregnant women in stress and a 2 year old to catch a flu you should be ashamed of your company and your false lies. Tomorrow is another day so I am waiting on tomorrow to see if anyone shows up but I probably be let down again like all the other days.
