Glow Green have finally finished our solar panel installation. Contractors were great but Glow Green service is appalling. Customer service should be re-named customer disservice! Our UPVC window was damaged and their response was - go and buy a pot of paint! Horrendous response times until of course it is time for final payment. Would never use again.

Boilers are reasonably priced but the finance options are very expensive. Installation was fine. That's about as good as it gets. I went through a very detailed call with their customer services team to get the most appropriate boiler for the needs of the house (large 4 bed with bathroom, en-suite, cloakroom and kitchen). I was promised that the boiler would be suitable and as there are four of us in the house that both showers could be used at once. At installation the children weren't old enough to use a shower so having both together wasn't tried initially. We found fairly shortly afterwards that as soon as another water source was used, pressure in either shower dropped and would end up freezing cold. We asked for a couple of visits to the property but they were cancelled due to lockdown. An initial complaint was raised in January this year but was dismissed out of hand by customer services and found myself stonewalled. I have now raised complaint again by going through Utility Warehouse and am still finding customer service poor. I received a voicemail from a complaints handler and promised emails but 8 days later I am still to have further contact. I have tried customer services to find out what is going on but waiting time is appalling and after three 20+ minutes attempts I have had to abandon each time.

avoid I got a bad experience with them. they installed solar panels in my house on day 1 system is faulty. scaffolding is still on the front of my house after 2 months of installation... customer service does not exist. Don't waste your time and money on them...

This company have taken money £1100 and failed to provide the product. They have promised a refund but it hasn't arrived and keeps being delayed. They don't respond to attempts at contact. I have even attempted to contact their CEO who ignores my pleas for help. Totally unethical and immoral. Please DO NOT use them. My bank are now handling this case and I am in the process of escalating my complaints with trading standards and the obudsman.

Awful experience with this company, their rep Rebecca and engineer James. Our boiler had to be moved as it's old and regulations have changed since it was installed - fine. We were told if we did the works to drill through our work surfaces, move plugs etc, they'd do the work at an additional cost of £150. We had other companies go on site to quote and suggest a much easier solution, move it to the wall. I shared this with glowgreen along with the information from the engineer and it was confirmed fine, let's go ahead, that position will be an additional £300. I agreed and we planned an install date, only to be called and told actually, it's another £600. No justification. £600 is the cost I was quoted to move it to another room, not less than 1 m from where it is currently. The process has been so laborious that I'm going with a much more expensive provider and a better boiler as I don't trust this company to do a good job and the experience with the customer services representative has been painful beyond belief. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. Update: I was told my refund was processed and to wait 5 working days. No money arrived. I was then sent a note yesterday saying it had been processed and would arrive before the end of the day but nothing. We are trying to pay the other boiler company but glowgreen are holding our funds without any reason, claiming to have refunded us. I paid them on the 29th. Absolutely disgraceful company. I’ve read the other reviews on Trustpilot and it seems this is common.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY As a builder that's having more aircon requests, I tried Glow green Ltd as they had good availability. What a mistake. They are totally reliant on sub-contract installers, which I'm not against as I use them myself. But the first one was cancelled the day before then I had to wait weeks for the second which was a total messer started then never came back. It was a case of third time lucky but again I had to wait. When you try to explain that it's holding up the job as you can't finish the plastering they have no idea what your talking about and can't comprehend what your saying as the office has no building experience. Glow green offered the complete service inc electric's and I had to take photos of the fuse box. Because it was taking so long I had my electrician carry out the wiring to their spec as we were re-wiring the property. I'm still trying to get reimbursed for that now and getting completely ignored. The whole process was made worse as nobody answers the phones or returns calls or reply to emails. They take 50% upfront payment so your trapped and they retain your card details to take money at will. Which they did the quickest thing about this company is how fast that happens. In fact, so fast they took the whole amount including the 50% deposit again. They have since rectified that mistake. However, I'm still waiting for a response to my electric refund.

Somehow Glowgreen managed to cancel my installation with the scaffolders electrician and roofers who all rearranged their days but somehow forgot to tell me it wasn’t happening. I was sent 5 emails after complaining, each email stated don’t contact us well get in touch if we need more information and (name) was in charge of my case. Terrible service. No one ever phoned/emailed me. It was up to me to demand an install date. 2 weeks after I managed to rearranged install the scaffolding is still up (removal 7 days after install) I’m sure will only come down if I phone them. As it’s now October will phone in March when I want to use the patio again. All insurance documents had wrong figures and dates on?? Anyone want to contact me Glowgreen?? Christopher, Yolander who all promised to return my emails and phone calls I’d love to hear from you.

This company are cowboys. They will damage your house and then deny everything. You would do better to find another company where you will get good service and skilled workmanship. Don’t believe all their sales patter.

I give this company a very poor as the date kept being changed, the insulation was bad left unfinisheded for months, unable to get in contact with them, property left damaged and it was my fault, had to contract my own electrician as fault blow my electrics and then had to contract a plumber for faulty value as this company wanted to charge me before they would send anyone out. I spent a whole year trying to put right what these cowboys didn't. Do, they kept issuing job tickets and no one came.

This company installed solar panels at my home on 16th July, a two day job took over a week. It’s now 25th September and I still haven’t received the batteries due to be installed with the panels. I have chased up to very little response and absolutely zero information. No one calls back and occasionally I may get an email, which when I reply us not answered. There has been zero follow up. The only department that is efficient is the accounts department. They rang for the deposit when they were supposed to.

the really bad. If you think to install PV solar panels get difrent company. They start job and do not finish. Left with so many faults every day and the system does not work properly. If i see bad review before i will never use them... Avoid

I have an ongoing complaint with Glow Green. I thought the problems were all behind me now though. The panels have been fitted and I have been informed that they now have the batteries in stock. I called to ask when my batteries will be fitted. It took 45 minutes for them to answer. The first person confirmed that the batteries are now in stock but there still appears to be no-one at Glow Green that can use a simple diary to book people in so I asked for complaints. I am sure that he also confirmed that the batteries are now in stock but he also has trouble using a simple diary. He put me through to a woman in Scheduling but she had the most unfriendly attitude that I have ever come across. She refused to try and help and she told me that the batteries are not in stock. She refused to put me through to a manager and put me back to complaints. The same person in complaints now told me that they do not have batteries and he will contact me when they do. He will NOT do that because no-one at Glow Green has ever contacted me to update me. Glow Green is THE WORST company (for anything) that I have ever had to deal with. It is now costing me $450 per month...

Glowgreen is one company which is absolutely inconsistent and have failed in picking calls from their customers. This is my experience from 12 frustrated telephone call attempts to get through from 10 am until 12:40 pm and never got through to anyone. Their customers service and after sales telephone calls take up to and in excess 1hr in waiting and when I addressed this to relevant staff ‘Rob’who called me the following day after a form filling exercise online on 14 September they claimed of being understaffed, making a easy lame excuse of being busy and apologise pathetically. From experience this is not a new thing as their sales staff have definitely conned me after a sale of a valiant Ecofit boiler in September 2021 but their after sales to fit the actual boiler a sheer customer service is an utter disgrace. The funny part is no one accepts their services are a joke. Imagine if your boiler fails you cannot get through and you have a vulnerable elderly living with you. Do you want to take a chance with Glowgreen customer services and boiler services? I urge everyone to complain If they have experienced similar problems to the CEO, expose them to BBC watchdog and Trading standards and the BBC Rogue Traders program about the standards of this company. Date of call was 14/09/2022. All I wanted to do was amend my service date. I ended up filling up a form and send emails to then hope someone will reply me imagine if the boiler failing in Winter. I pay o over £16 a month for this rubbish service. To then be told below Glowgreen is confuses summarises how disconnected they are with customers. I have had to endure a whole day before anyone decided to email me to amend the boiler services date. Nobody called me until the following day until I email multiple staff much to my demise for this dead service telephone call services advertised online which nobody attends to pick up calls. My overall assessment - Stay far from Glowgreen Bolier company even if they offer you 2 yrs interest free on Gas or future Electric or Air Conditioner sales.

My dad ain't happy unfortunately the job not complete. The lad who put the boiler in he said he needs an electrician to complete the wiring been waiting for the electrician to come since Monday 12th September. It's Wednesday still waiting rang glow green & they said there don't have electricians wft glow green do your job or quit your company

Please do not ignore the negative comments from customers about this company. We are the genuine customers and if you fail to do like I did because i thought it was a mix feelings from customers before now, you will fall into their trap like me. This company is a complete shamble and highly disorganised. They collect your deposits and careless about what happens after. I was promised 17th of August for all materials to be delivered and the Engineer was to install the PV on 20th of August. On 17th , I called a lady,Yolanda, at about 3pm, reassured me everything was fine and the installation would go ahead on 20th. Another guy, called Richard also sent mail to me about same time that he hoped my issue has been dealt with and gave reassurance that everything was fine. Then 2 hours after, a guy called David at 6pm on 17th left a voice, sounded very apologetic that he had something he wanted to tell me about a panel. First, I was wondering what,was he going to tell me 2 hrs after Richard and Yolanda promised everything was going to be delivered. On 18th of August, I called David early in the morning to find out what the matter was, then he said he was very sorry that panel they wanted to use for my installation on 20th was no longer available. And I said, seriously 😐 ! The annoying part was, they can't get that panel of 395 but they will now make a new order for 385 panel for me and unfortunately it would still be the same cost. Scaffolding has been up for over 3 weeks now, very Obstructive. The scaffolding company have now threatened twice to dismantle it even when installation has not been made. First time, I informed their manager, Dan, that the scaffolding company was going to pull down scaffolding before installation,he said he would act quickly to stop them from doing it which he did. But would you not be wondering if anyone in this company is in charge of anything. Hmmmm ! What about materials ? Delivered at different times in an unsecured places in our estate. After 20th of August failed, I was the one who had to chase them for a new installation date and I believe the new date of installation of 14th of September is not genuine. Why have I said this ? I sent mail to Yolanda few days ago to find out what materials have been delivered and what have not been delivered because I had no clue about was in the package of inverter. She replied to say that the battery and tigo are yet to be delivered. And I responded to her and copied Dan in and queried why would you fix another date that's going to fail when you have not yet delivered all the materials to my house. Up till now, I have not received any response from any of them on this. Today, scaffolding company have sent another text to me to say they are dismantling the scaffolding on 9th of September even when glow green have fixed 14th September for installation with all materials not been delivered. What a joke ! I called the glow green customer yesterday to let them know that I have notified my lawyer and would be taking a legal challenge if this PV solar not installed on 14th of September, get my money back( they have collected 70% of overall cost) and make claims for taking time off from work to stay at home at 2 different times for materials delivery and installation that never happened. These guys don't feel they have a responsibility towards British public who are borrowing money in thousands to invest into PV solar system. They blame everything for their failure apart from themselves. From China battery supply issues to panel issue from Korea etc. Would you not been wondering how is China or Korea or manufacturing company strike to be blamed for their poor communication, lack of organisation, lack of leadership, inability to get hold of anyone over the phone apart from their customer service personnel who won't be able to answer your queries but would only give u a reference or a ticket number that your case has been logged in etc Do not fall into their trap. They are only out to get your money and tie you down to unknown time when your installation will be carried out. They will promise you heaven and earth to get your deposit from you and after that no one takes any responsibility for anything. Guys, I will keep you updated after 14th of September

Glow Green were great, until they had my money, then things started to go awry. The instant communication lines which I had been accustomed to, vanished and the scheduling for our solar PV installation became a real chore. I changed our holiday bookings to fit in with their timing and booked time off work to be available. Without notice the dates were changed again and I was left losing money for time off work. Eventually the installation was started but parts were missing so the contractors couldn't finish the job. The contractors work was OK but it was not what was agreed with the GlowGreen sales and design team and cabling was done externally, which is exactly what I didn't want. The company ignore all my attempts to communicate and I'm left with a half installed system and scaffolding on the front of my house taking up my parking space. Today I get a message from a scaffolding company telling me that they will be coming on-site to erect (another?) scaffold!! I've spent hours on the phone trying to get through to someone who may help. Nobody answers Unless you are potentially a new customer when they are all too happy to help free you of your cash. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Totally stressful experience which should have been an exciting upgrade to our home but instead I'm left anxious that it will ever be completed. Been on the phone today for 1 hour so far, on hold with the dreadful piped music driving me up the wall. Grrrr.
