We have had a horrible, stressful experience with the installation of our solar panels with this company, and we want to warn people to go elsewhere. Glow Green is clearly a bunch of cowboys who don't give a fig about their customers - they are keen to take your money as soon as possible, but that is where the enthusiasm ends. We are so worried about the poor customer service that we are considering reporting them or resorting to the Court if necessary. Please go elsewhere with your business.

Left with leaking pipe work and damage to our kitchen ceiling after a boiler installation. If we hadn’t had the work completed we would not have the problem. We also have no hot water to our bath. Poor customer service!

Do not spend your hard earned money with this unhelpuf business! After a boiler installation we have been left with the damage in the photos and no hot water to our bathrooms taps. The installation caused our existing pipework to leak and Glow Green have refused to take any responsibility. If we had not had this work competed we would not be in this situation with 2 small children who need a bath! I'm not one to complain but I don't want others to find themselves in this situation. Keep looking to find a better company for your new boiler installation.

Very bad service from start to end! First Engineer not completed installation properly (damaged paint on 4 wall + 2 sealing + left full loft of rubbish + pressure was like jets in showers, the pipe work and outside wall was left like after person in training done installation...Provided invoice from painting company of £400 for damages to fix they made, have been informed its too high and offered funny £100 compensation. I want my house walls to look like it was before, not with patches of paint like have been offered by Ben! Maybe you paint your walls after someone damages just patches?! Also a very rude man, not suitable for customer service! I am escalating this to the Ombudsman as I felt no support or help from this company. I had all the proof and Glow green saying paint patches!!! Not to mention the installation was a mess from start to end...Now we have issues again as pipes sound like whistling and water pressure went so low in the house that we can hardly shower!!! Would never even use this company, as I would say their motto is : Sell sell sell and after we dont know you! Wasted my time, damaged my house and had to send engineers twice! Not to mention forgot to order radiators and sent the thermostat to a different address with no name! Avoid it if you do not want to end up like me!

Initial experience was great - replacement boiler fitted efficiently., the thermostat stopped working during the installation such that we ended up with no heating or hot water (with a 6 month old baby…) Installer returned and identified that the thermostat was dead and arranged for electrician to come. Then… nothing until an email from customer services saying it wasn’t their problem and that installer shouldn’t have tried to get an electrician to come. All my subsequent emails were just ignored. Absolutely no response at all. I wouldn’t even have minded paying to get it fixed although the coincidence of the thermostat breaking at the very time the boiler was installed is a little suspicious. The reason I would advise against using the company is their lack of desire to try to fix a problem and their response which was just to ignore me. I’m not a difficult customer. And had there not been a post installation problem I would have been very happy. But the company clearly has a customer service issue - I would steer clear if I was you.

They quoted me for solar panels and assured me that paying a deposit will secure the prices from 2 months ago. The next steps would be a pre consultation and then putting up the panels. They estimated this to take 8 10 weeks. It has been almost 10 weeks since I paid the deposit and I did not even get the pre consultation, which was cancelled twice and I was left waiting on the third attempt. Apparently the quote was wrong so they will need to re-quote me using prices that are £1600 higher (how convenient). I have never left a review before but I would seriously avoid using this company for for solar panels. The sales people avoided speaking to me and the managers promised call backs, which never came. Worst service ever. They are good until you pay.

I will give 0 if that will be possible, This company is absolutely scammers. 3 attempts to install PVC and no one successful. They even cant find if they sent all equipment or no. Don't trust good review probably fake!!!

I've had a terrible time with Glow Green, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They initially seemed great, with a knowlegable sounding sales team. However made several changes to the design after I had paid the deposit. Put the scaffolding up and tried to force futher changes to the proposed system. Stopped answering my emails and then verbally cancelled the job in a rude and unprofessional way. Install was supposed to be in January. Still have scaffolding up and they STILL HAVE MY £2000 DEPOSIT. Appalling and incompetant service that has wasted my time and now means I have to start the process again. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. They have also questioned the integrity of my review to try to get it taken down, so here it is again. This company are dispicable seriously stay well away.

AVOID AVOID AVOID MAYBE THIS WILL KICK YOU INTO PLAY This review was left in August 2021 we have a great update that they still have not managed to fix the boiler permanently every couple of months it fails again this time my wife called glow green as we have been paying for the boiler cover with them since we have had it installed. To say that it has died again as today we have no hot water or heating and have explained we have a 5 year old 3 year old and a 2 year old to get told they they will log the call and get someone to call us over the next few days or so. Quit frankly had enough dealing with this company and going to now get legal advice and as we have enough reports and information to prove what has been done with photo evidence. Lloyd greenfield won’t take my calls and they company are so unhelpful as they have my money they don’t care. So tomorrow I am going to get a independent inspector to survey the whole system. We have done everything possible to get this resolved nicely but enough is enough. Oh and for those that like a laugh watch out for the Maintenance that was here a couple of weeks ago doing a service had is gas meeting checking for leaks in a electric oven this just shows the standard of their staff didn’t. Also didn’t have a spanner to open the magnetic filter so could not clean it and didn’t take the front of the boiler to check anything on plus side was here for 4 hours on his phone in and out of his van. WITH A SERVICE LIKE NO WONDER THEIR CREDIT RATING IS ON FLOOR Do not purchase a boiler from grow green 4… We purchased a boiler from grow green 4 years ago and now have issues to which they sent a Worcester boiler engineer to tell us that the boiler has been plumed back to front. And also that the soakaway had not been fitted correctly this was leaving a limescale and a poisonous substance onto our patio when we questioned Worcester engineer about the situation that our dog died suddenly with liver and kidney failure about a year after the boiler was installed. When speaking to glow green about this they weren't interested they also one interested to tell us that the boiler weird purchase did not come with the 12 year. Even though we'd had it serviced every year by the same service engineer because the boiler hadn't been registered with Worcester Bosch yeah we purchased the boiler from them as it came with a 12-year warranty. Since the boiler has been installed correctly as they did come back and swap the piping and sort the soakaway out the system does not heat as it should Worcester Bosch have been out and now said it's because the whole system needs to be stripped down and cleaned thoroughly because segment has gone round the system the wrong way glow green will have nothing to do with this and have said we need to pay for this to be sorted I would stay well clear of this company. We are also looking into compensation for the damages loss of earnings and also an investigation into the dogs death because we will take this further this is not the end of the line.

Please do not use this company. It took nearly 2 months to get the boiler and radiators accurately fixed from December to the end of January. We were left with no heating and hot water in January with a toddler and a being heavily pregnant - we ended up having to reschedule our medically required c-section as we had no heating or hot water. The engineers also installed it incorrectly causing water to leak through the bedroom into the lounge - damaging the floorboards and ceiling. For all of this - they have decided £250 is adequate compensation. Let alone the emotional distress, days wasted for staying in from work to only have no one turn up - this doesn't cover the cost of repairing the damage to our floorboards and ceiling. Here is a break down of our complaint...in the words of Glow Green. 30/11/2021 - Quote accepted for a boiler installation. This was later booked in for 15/12/2021 and 16/12/2021. 14/12/2021 - The delivery driver dropped off the boiler outside your property. You described him as very rude and threatening, you were heavily pregnant at this time. 15/12/2021 - Missed Install appointment due to engineer sickness. The appointment was rescheduled for 6/7th Jan. 03/01/2022 - The engineer booked on 6th Jan declined the job. An Emergency Broadcast was sent out to try and get the job covered. 04/01/2022 - We received a response to our broadcast and booked in the install for 25 / 26th of Jan. You were very unhappy with these dates as there is no hot water in the bathroom and you could not have a newborn without hot water. 05/01/2022 - Glow Green managed to bring the appointment forward for 10 / 11th Jan 06/01/2022 - We advised the install would potentially not fix the hot water in the bathroom as it could be a pre-existing issue, we offered you a phone call with our install team to investigate this further, however, we unfortunately did not hear back. (We later told them that our plumber had said it would, and it has) 12/01/2022 - The engineer had attended to complete the install, however, he had over run and by this date had still not installed the new radiators. He instead fitted the new TRVs on the old radiators. We booked him back in for 13/01/2022 to complete the work. 12/01/2022 - 2 fault codes - F22 and F75 - no heating or hot water 13/01/2022 - The engineer did not show. Glow Green tried to contact the install engineer to return, he did not respond. Glow Green tried to talk you through the repressuring of the boiler, but there was no silver braided hose. You advised that you have a c-section booked in for 15/01/2022 Glow Green arranged for a different engineer to go and fix codes. You called us back once this engineer had left to advised that the code came back on when you tried to shower 14/01/2022 - You advised that you found a radiator leaking. Glow Green tried to arrange for someone to return but unfortunately failed to do so. You advised that you chose to cancel your c-section for the following day 17/01/2022 - Engineer attended the property, their notes are as follows: "Found leak on rad valve. Drained system and replaced faulty Olive. Refilled system and tested leaving in perfect working order" - We were informed that the radiator leak caused a water stain on your ceiling. 26/01/2022 - You emailed me to advise you were settled with your new baby, which you had to have naturally due to the c-section being cancelled to allow for the boiler install to be completed on 17/01/2022. You advised that you are now ready for a date to be arranged for the radiators and new TRVs to be fitted and the damage to be evaluated. 31/01/2022 - Engineer attended and installed radiators and new TRVs and checked the water damaged ceiling. His notes are as follows: “Slight water marks on ceiling, tenant said leak had been rectified by another glow green engineer, was an installation error initially.” You reported to be still having system issues, the boiler wouldn’t heat unless it was restarted. 04/02/2022 - You advised me that you were in contact with the engineer who attended on 31/01/2022 and the boiler is working fine now.

We were supposed to have our solar panels installed on Tuesday. The sales person promised a swift installation. Well, nobody showed up, since then we have called the company a few times to see what is going on and when is yhe next day installation date. Everytime we call someone replies which apparently cannot tell us what is happening and promise to get someone to call us back ASAP.. 5 days later and noone called back and we have no idea on what is going on, with scaffolding around the house and with our parking drive blocked by the solar panels. Such disrespect for customers' and unrealistic promises

i would no star but have no choice to gave it very very bad service and unprofessional, very expensive and ripping people off i still have a 1 year guarantee which will expire this august my boiler didnt work for 3 days, and was out of hot water and heater i call for them and told them i still have gurantee and she told me i have to pay 192 pounds to send someone over and i pay them because i didnt have. a choice so they send someone over and they check quick and switch something on, the job was done in 1 min for 192 pounds, he said “ok done” and was in a hurry to go home i told him why the heater didnt work and it need fixing a few i told him why he no fix it, he said its not his job, he say his job to fix the boiler

Prob the worst service I ever had. I was after the particular boiler due to fittings size. At the moment of sale (mid december) I was insured that these boilers are available and set an installation date. After I took a day off, day before I was called that the company does not have there boilers and installation is moving for a week. The next week the same. After that they try to changed my order to another boiler. On my question, can they guarantee that it fits the size, no answer. In two week original boiler I asked for, finally arrived. Installation was books .... and .... did not show up. Two phone calls to the company - they do not know where the people are. Result - my kitchen is a mess for 2 month. I v lost 2 days of my holidays. Boiler is still not installed. Two and half month! Avoid the service.

I purchased a boiler through glow green and the care policy for maintenence. I had a problem with the heating not coming on when I set the thermostat. Glow Green sent me a video to watch to see if I could repair it myself, no engineer nothing a video, not even a follow up call ! In the end I paid for an independant engineer who came and diagnosed a faulty receiver. The year before this I took a day off from work for an appointment for a boiler service, the engineer didn't show up, no phone call nothing he just didn't show up ! I should have learnt my lesson then.

The internal installation of the boiler was ok. That could not be said the external pipe work. I had spoken with company and the installing engineer on how I wished to done. They completely ignored what I said. They also refused to rectify the issue when I complained after the installation. Would not recommend this company.

My old boiler which was 24kw of 19 years old was warming my radiators better than your 30kw vaillant which I paid so much. I signed for completion because, I don't want to go through further stress. The engineer who installed is not responding!!!
