Do not accept what you are told over the phone, I was told a bunch of lies just to get me to accept the quote.

Please do not ignore the negative comments from customers about this company. We are the genuine customers and if you fail to do like I did because i thought it was a mix feelings from customers before now, you will fall into their trap like me. This company is a complete shamble and highly disorganised. They collect your deposits and careless about what happens after. I was promised 17th of August for all materials to be delivered and the Engineer was to install the PV on 20th of August. On 17th , I called a lady,Yolanda, at about 3pm, reassured me everything was fine and the installation would go ahead on 20th. Another guy, called Richard also sent mail to me about same time that he hoped my issue has been dealt with and gave reassurance that everything was fine. Then 2 hours after, a guy called David at 6pm on 17th left a voice, sounded very apologetic that he had something he wanted to tell me about a panel. First, I was wondering what,was he going to tell me 2 hrs after Richard and Yolanda promised everything was going to be delivered. On 18th of August, I called David early in the morning to find out what the matter was, then he said he was very sorry that panel they wanted to use for my installation on 20th was no longer available. And I said, seriously 😐 ! The annoying part was, they can't get that panel of 395 but they will now make a new order for 385 panel for me and unfortunately it would still be the same cost. Scaffolding has been up for over 3 weeks now, very Obstructive. The scaffolding company have now threatened twice to dismantle it even when installation has not been made. First time, I informed their manager, Dan, that the scaffolding company was going to pull down scaffolding before installation,he said he would act quickly to stop them from doing it which he did. But would you not be wondering if anyone in this company is in charge of anything. Hmmmm ! What about materials ? Delivered at different times in an unsecured places in our estate. After 20th of August failed, I was the one who had to chase them for a new installation date and I believe the new date of installation of 14th of September is not genuine. Why have I said this ? I sent mail to Yolanda few days ago to find out what materials have been delivered and what have not been delivered because I had no clue about was in the package of inverter. She replied to say that the battery and tigo are yet to be delivered. And I responded to her and copied Dan in and queried why would you fix another date that's going to fail when you have not yet delivered all the materials to my house. Up till now, I have not received any response from any of them on this. Today, scaffolding company have sent another text to me to say they are dismantling the scaffolding on 9th of September even when glow green have fixed 14th September for installation with all materials not been delivered. What a joke ! I called the glow green customer yesterday to let them know that I have notified my lawyer and would be taking a legal challenge if this PV solar not installed on 14th of September, get my money back( they have collected 70% of overall cost) and make claims for taking time off from work to stay at home at 2 different times for materials delivery and installation that never happened. These guys don't feel they have a responsibility towards British public who are borrowing money in thousands to invest into PV solar system. They blame everything for their failure apart from themselves. From China battery supply issues to panel issue from Korea etc. Would you not been wondering how is China or Korea or manufacturing company strike to be blamed for their poor communication, lack of organisation, lack of leadership, inability to get hold of anyone over the phone apart from their customer service personnel who won't be able to answer your queries but would only give u a reference or a ticket number that your case has been logged in etc Do not fall into their trap. They are only out to get your money and tie you down to unknown time when your installation will be carried out. They will promise you heaven and earth to get your deposit from you and after that no one takes any responsibility for anything. Guys, I will keep you updated after 14th of September

Glow Green were great, until they had my money, then things started to go awry. The instant communication lines which I had been accustomed to, vanished and the scheduling for our solar PV installation became a real chore. I changed our holiday bookings to fit in with their timing and booked time off work to be available. Without notice the dates were changed again and I was left losing money for time off work. Eventually the installation was started but parts were missing so the contractors couldn't finish the job. The contractors work was OK but it was not what was agreed with the GlowGreen sales and design team and cabling was done externally, which is exactly what I didn't want. The company ignore all my attempts to communicate and I'm left with a half installed system and scaffolding on the front of my house taking up my parking space. Today I get a message from a scaffolding company telling me that they will be coming on-site to erect (another?) scaffold!! I've spent hours on the phone trying to get through to someone who may help. Nobody answers Unless you are potentially a new customer when they are all too happy to help free you of your cash. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Totally stressful experience which should have been an exciting upgrade to our home but instead I'm left anxious that it will ever be completed. Been on the phone today for 1 hour so far, on hold with the dreadful piped music driving me up the wall. Grrrr.

I accepted a contract with Glow Green to fit my Solar Panels and Batteries on the agreement that the job would be completed by 14th August 2022 and they would aim for the end of July. Glow Green later offered a start date of 4th October. I told them that is too far away and reminded them of the agreement. I was then given a start date of 3rd August which I agreed to. On 3rd of August we had a fitting team but no materials to be fitted. Start date now would be 4th August and we were promised that materials would arrive before 10am on the 4th. Some essential parts did not arrive so only a partial install happened on 4th August. Other materials have now arrived but Glow Green are now saying they cannot get back to us before 4th October. Many, many other issues have arisen over the time. If I could get out of this contract I would, but financially I might not be able to. Then I am told by Glow Greens 2nd Sub-contractor that the wiring done by the first team is dangerous and will need looking at. We are now in September, we have scaffolding blocking our windows and parking and dangerous wiring in our house. Yet, all we can do is hope they get the job finished asap and then get it checked by a third party. I will be seeking legal advice.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Horrendous experience - should have been an exciting investment in our home but left with leaking air con unit, installed in the wrong place, walls need repainting, trunking needs refitting AND the installers forged my signature on the completion document as I told them I wasn’t satisfied! No accountability from GlowGreen - continue to chase a satisfactory outcome - only way I can get an answer is by going through the sales line! No one returns my calls or email!

Thought the works were done well until my neighbour informed me my chimney stack cap was damaged, this was not like this before the works and evidentally there afterwards. Disappointed, especially as Glow Green do not want to take liability.

Please, please do NOT use this Company I just wish I had read the reviews first they will basically take your money and that's it! Faulty Air condition units no Installation no electrician no communication nothing you can email and phone till you're blue in the face but you won't get anywhere. Do not give these cowboys your hard earned money.

This is the worse company and worst work for my boiler. After half year the problem still not solved. Definitely not recommending.

I ordered a standard 4kWh solar array, inverter and battery at the start of June. The initial ordering process was fine but the level of service dropped to the point of being farcical the closer we came to the scheduled installation date. This date slipped 4 times. On the third date the fitters arrived only to find that GlowGreen failed to schedule an electrician. The electrician was pulled from another local job a few days later, which was actually a family member's job. That family member is now stuck waiting for a new install date as well. Approximately 15 calls/emails/messages went unanswered between the original install date in Mid-July and mid-August. The installation contractor had to completely change the planned install as there were several significant flaws in the agreed design, not the end of the world but it did mean that we were forced to install the equipment on the exterior of the house - something we explained wasn't something we wanted to do. The TL;DR is this company uses sub contractors but is utterly useless at organisation/communication with those contractors. Communication to the end customer is also very poor.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Broken promises, calls not returned, emails not answered and spent over 400 mins overall listening to awful music while on hold on average 25mins each call. Given an instal date for air con, and advised units would be delivered day before. No delivery received so rang them and they said my order had been cancelled. Not by me I might add, I eventually got new date so booked more time off work. Goods to be delivered by 10am and engineer would arrive after, received email on the day to say they could not contact engineer so job cancelled. Rang to establish if units were being delivered and was told by Anne they would not be as that is thier process. 2 hours later units arrived. Made numerous calls to get new date. Was told it was all booked for Mon 15/08/22 between 8am & 10 am. Yet more time off work, engineer arrived at 11.50 am and was fantastic, he was sick of apologising for this company, he asked what time the electrician was arriving, We had no idea. Another 3 phone calls made as they don’t ring you back as promised, only to find out that no electrician was booked. Electrician now book for the 18th so another day off work. This company are a disgrace please avoid at all costs, the constant hassle has made me ill. If you do use them good luck as your going to need it. I have emailed and have asked them to ring me to discuss my complaints but surprise surprise no contact.

I researched into getting Solar PV energy earlier this year and contacted several different companies. I decided to go with GlowGreen after several calls with them and what seemed like a friendly and reassuring person on the other end. Once they took my deposit money it’s been downhill since, firstly they can’t communicate with their suppliers or installers; I had 2 scaffolding companies turn up on the same day - I got told my panels would arrive on a certain day but tried to be delivered a day earlier when I was out. This delayed everything but after a few weeks things finally got delivered and a new install date was made. But here goes another set of drama; Due to the heatwave my work was able to be completed on one day so my electricians needed to come back another day to complete it (absolutely fine, we agreed a date) and they told me they’ll need to get onto the roof to connect everything. I then move my days I’m working in the office to make sure I’m around on the days work is expected. Whilst I was out of the house, the scaffolding team trespassed into my property (no one was in), nor was I made aware of them coming this day and took down the scaffolding. This meant the electricians were unable to finish the work! Oh but here is where it gets even more infuriating, I contact glowgreen the next week and they said okay we’ll get in contact with the relevant companies and get that sorted. The week goes by I hear nothing! I ring up again the next week, oh yeah we have an update for you but will need to speak to my manager they’ll ring you back later (do they? NO). I ring up again (hours of my time gone on hold and I’m still stuck at the same place) panels on my roof unconnected to power and just a company that lies and doesn’t actually do anything! I WOULD GIVE THEM MINUS 5 stars if I could! DO NOT GO WITH THEM!!

I am currently in dispute with your Collections ... I had a boiler fitted and the Engineers wired it incorrectly ... they have admitted this ... I called a plumber who fixed the problem .. to do this he charged $100 ... I still owned half the boiler cost, so I sent the bill to your department and said please deduct this and I will forward the balance owned of my boiler which is over £900 ... Your collection department then came back at me and said they would only deduct £25 of the £100 pound I had already paid the plumber . It beggars belief ...where can you get a plumber to call fix the problem for over an hour and only charge £25 ... I still not have paid the balance due as waiting for some sensible person to have a word with these people !! Paul Ross

Very bad experience, horrible service Very bad experience. I have the combi boiler installed two years before by this company, but it did not provide hot water. Glowgreen sent two technicians to us but they didn't solve the problem. Finally, I have to find a local engineer coming to fix the system. I have sent dozens of emails and phoned them at least twenty times. Their customer service team kept changing contact persons and lost contact after 6 months. I keep all communication records for public check (email) and here is my complaint reference code GG-TK-008152 on Friday 20th December 2019. Be careful! They rather sue you than provide a satisfactory service.

It took Glow Green 16 days to fit my boiler due to their inability to supply the required flue parts, it then took a further 14 days to collect the 6 packages of wrongly supplied flue parts so I would not recommend Glow Green to anyone C Wyatt

After ordering new combo boiler and getting it installed by a very good and professional guy he advised me that I needed additional electrical work done after waiting a week no communication from the company I had to call them and they emailed advising me I would have to pay an additional £200 plus but suggested I get another electrician. I emailed back my disappointment but heard nothing since. So would not recommend them

Absolutely appalling company. Last year when we agreed the fitting of 2 x air con units, engineers failed to turn up on the day, when one did turn up they hadn’t told him about the fit and what extra parts he needed to bring and he had driven here 3 hours. They were fitted and with in 2 days the downstairs unit was pouring water inside the house like a waterfall. They sent an engineer out who said pipe was kinked. Was too late in year then to use air con. This year we switched the air con on and yes you guessed it. It poured down inside like a waterfall again. I contacted Glowgreen who said they would get an engineer but then told me they couldn’t get one ( as they don’t want to work for them as they don’t pay them once job is done) I said I needed to get it fix d as the upstairs one was also now leaking!! They told me to get a quote, which I did from a local company( who said the work was the worst they had ever seen). I s not the quote to them and they had it 4 days and said managers would look at it. I am diabetic and it was the 2 hottest days of the year so I told Jamie from Glowgreen I would have to get the work done. He said go ahead and give us the invoice and a report on the bad work. I did this and it included that the upstairs unit had not been vacuumed on fitting and had coolant in the system so all the pipes had frozen and it was this leaking!! No pipes had been lagged. The downstairs unit had been fitted sloping the wrong way and could not drain so the reservoir was filling up and flowing into our living room. The drain hole had been cut too low and so water again would of had to go uphill. I had the work done which cost £480 and sent the invoice, photos and full report to Glowgreen. After 9 days Glowgreen have come back and said because I had not given them enough time after the report to investigate!! They would not be paying. I have reported them to Trading standards and will be taking them to small claims court DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY THEY LEFT US WITH WATER COMING IN ON ELECTRICS AND LIED AFTER TELLING US TO GET REPAIRED

Terrible customer service. They fob me off and leave me on hold or never ring back. I have had a botched solar install from them and a month on, it has not been resolved, nor has anyone contacted me to arrange getting it working! All I get is my “ticket” has been assigned to someone every now any then, but not information and no resolution! Avoid using this company at all costs! If you unfortunately do and have an issue, you have been warned about the nightmare you will have walked into! The option on the review site ask how did I communicate with the company, it has been numerous phone calls, emails, a phone call to the complaints department (they didn’t answer after an hour of ringing) an email to the complaints department with no acknowledgement. This review website needs an option to say the company has not responded at all!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We had a boiler installed and have not had hot water since, it has been almost a month since the installation. When we spoke to Glow Green they were adamant that the lack of hot water had nothing to do with the installation even though we had hot water up to the installation date and have had none since, and must have been due to a broken valve. They took no responsibility and they were only willing to return to our property to fix the valve for an additional fee. We had a third party come and review the installation because, quite frankly, we didn't trust that Glow Green would give us an honest answer. He quickly discovered that there was no electricity reaching our hot water tank so the lack of hot water was due to a faulty installation and not a faulty valve. We have reached out to Glow Green to resolve this and get an engineer over to our property to fix our hot water, but they have gone radio silent, not responding to our emails or calls. I would not recommend them.
