“I reported a complete failure of my Caple SP910 decorative hood. I suspected a faulty electronic circuit board and put this detail on the request for repair form. I paid the £160 fee as requested in advance. What Glotech failed to do was check that spares were still available before coming out to look at the hood. Spares apparently are not available so why Glotech did not check this out before attending my house is beyond belief. Effectively I have wasted £160! A sizeable amount. Glotech should have established the spares situation in advance and informed me - in turn I would obviously have cancelled the visit. Then Glotech say if I was to have a new hood fitted by them they would refund half the labour/call out charge. But they only offer a fitting service if you happen to live in Herts or the London area. I live in Sheffield so that offer was of no use to me. In conclusion, if you are thinking of using Glotech check the spares situation first. It could well save you wasting £160. Obviously I feel very let down by Glotech who have taken £160 and the hood has not been repaired.”

“Booked a call out to my washing machine on 29 Dec 2021. Engineer called 7 Jan 2022 and advised a part was needed. WE paid in full for the call and part and was advised the engineer would return tp fit the part in around 7-10 days . WE received a text to say that the engineer would call 20 Jan 2022. On the 20th I received a call from a guy who struggled with English, advising me he could not attend and our village was unaccusable due to a blocked road. Our village is a large commuter town with ambles access routes in. I spent 20-25 mins on the phone to him trying redirect him but he did not understand the basic directions or the use of his satnav. I waited 2 days to hear back from Glotech on a rescheduled visit but in the end i had to call the help line myself to rebook. this is now booked in for 29th Jan. A full month since the initial call was made. Appalling customer service and response times and i would Not recommend this company or use this service again.”

“They don’t answer the phone!! We had a very nice engineer call to fix our washing machine on Thursday, literally 2 minutes after he left , the washing machine started leaking again, I called the office straightaway, no answer, message left, no call back. Really disappointed with this lack of care”

“Really efficient turned up when they said and fixed the problem £70 to fix my tumble dryer so much better that £700 for a new one. Would highly recommend Glotech repairs”

“Vladimir was excellent. Arrived earlier than I expected which was perfect. Fixed my washing machine and gave advice and support. A very pleasant engineer, who was quick and attentive. Thank you.”

“Excellent service. The fitter who visited was very knowledgable polite and helpful. I did have to ring to find out how to pay the call out fee and was on hold for 25 mins but that’s not too much of a problem.”

“I asked for a rough estimate before the engineer calls. The engineer gave me the estimate whilst standing on the doorstep!! I tried phoning them a couple of times and was told I was nbr. 13 in the queue, after 30mins I hung up as I was still only nbr. 9 in the queue. So decided to send an email to cancel the engineer, 3 days before the appointment, obviously that didn’t work either as he still turned up I wouldn’t use this company again as you CANNOT contact anyone and if you have a problem that needs sorting quickly if they are that bad for general enquiries”
