We were given a time slot for cooker ignition repair - 8am-5pm but couldn't say morning or afternoon. We waited all day - not used the oven in case they arrived (can light manually) so up early and no hot meals today. About 4.40 got a call to say in York, not Leeds, and would be 1 hour 10 mins. making it around 6pm. Then they still had to do the job. I said it was too late, not as agreed and not to bother. There are other people who will do the work and be reliable. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WOULD NOT CONSIDER AGAIN.

Glotech does not deserve even 1 star! They charged us half of the cost of a new dishwasher and their repair lasted just a few weeks, the dishwasher showed the same symptoms and when they returned, they claimed something else needed changing and asked for another 200 GBP to carry out a different repair. AVOID THEM, NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!

Contacted these people as I thought they were based in Selby. They weren't. Waited in all day for my appointment (between 8am and 5pm), to be phoned at 4.35pm and informed the engineer was not coming. Asked for a immediate refund and was told that the accounts department had gone home for the day and it would be processed tomorrow. I'm not happy with this at all.

My combioven was too old to repair as springs are no longer available. I should have been warned of this. Also the time clock on my oven wasn’t working. I know it was not the specified equipment but would have appreciated the engineer seeing to that instead

First engineer looked at the cooker flashing E4, said need new board, pay £115, for 2 minutes, second engineer tried to do a factory reset to fix the induction hob, yet our model cooker doesn’t have a reset function! Told us to call Smeg direct! Amazing service if you want to waste your time and money

My wife called them. Engineer visited, was here 5 minutes to tell us the to repair our washing machine would need a part costing £240.. (so about 340 with labour).. cheaper to buy a new machine so we decline. still charged us £95 for the call out. For about 5 mins of his time, that is ridiculous.

Zero star from 5. This company knew they can't fix my fridge but didn't tell me on phone but sent 'somebody' to tell me its unrepairable so i have to pay £100 for nothing.

I paid £90.00 for a call out and £70.00 for the part required for my Bosch oven. The office called me to arrange for an engineer visit so I took the day off work. The engineer arrived minus the part so my time and his timewere wasted. When I called the office to complain nobody in authority was available to take my call, apparently either on courses or in meetings. Im furious I wouldn't recommend this company. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

We contacted Glowtech about our Smeg cooker the engineer who came out didn't even turn the cooker on he then took the wrong model number down and spent nearly 30mins on his phone trying to find the model he then told me it doesnt exists i showed him the correct number snd model. He didn't examine the cooker at all told me all the things it might be and left said the office would be in touch with a quote they then called to say its too many things it might be so they weren't able to quote. But still charged me an excessive call out bunch of cowboys

I called out Glotech to fix our washing machine. The technician who turned up was a sub-contractor for Glotech and he was very helpful and informative. He fixed the initial issue and told me I needed new carbon brushes for the washing machine motor as these were very worn. He showed me the carbon brushes. He said they would have to get the office to quote me for these parts. A few days later I was told by the Glotech office you couldn’t just get the carbon brushes and I needed a whole new motor, which was £195! This was not true and totally dishonest! I had an F4 error come up on my washing machine so I searched what that was on YouTube and there was a helpful video explaining what the issue was, and it was my Carbon Brushes, and how to fix it. More importantly it even provided a link on where to order new carbon brushes for my respective motor. A new set of Carbon brushes were £9 way less than £195 for the new motor. I ordered the brushes, they arrived in the post 3 days later and I followed the YouTube video to replace the carbon brushes. Now the washing machine works great. I am very disappointed on the dishonesty of the office staff at Glotech misquoting me. I’ll never use them again nor do I recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware.

The quality of Glotech's repair is extremely poor and their customer service is even worse. If you book a follow-up visit as the dishwasher shows the same fault a few weeks after the repair, Glotech will charge you for another repair visit, be warned!!! This is not clear in their terms and conditions. The worst service we have ever received from a UK company. They should be ashamed.

An engineer was booked, did not show, no phone call. We were then advised to ring the engineers agent. They told us they did not cover my post code area, and they had advised Glotech sereral days before visit planned. Contacted Glotech . Who advised they did not cover this area. What a waste of time!

Very bad experience with Glotech, they sent a clearly unexperienced engineer out to look at our tumble dryer. Without much investigation he decided it needed a new lock, despite the issue being the drum would not turn, even when machine off and pushed manually. something was clearly obstructing the drum. Glotech then wanted the call out fee of £89.94 (which I paid) plus £30 something pounds for this new part that would take 1-2 weeks. I asked them if they can send the engineer out to look again as I was sure if wasn't the lock as I had heard something metal such as a screw tumbling around moments before it stopped working. They insisted it was the lock, and a new lock was needed to investigate further. I decided to wait till the next day when a family friend came over to look at the machine, who is by no means an expert, took the back off, looked at the drum, dislodged the obstruction, and the machine now works perfectly fine. I called back to advise them I did not need to proceed with the parts & that its been wrongly diagnosed. I asked for a refund but they refused.

I am not happy . Before Christmas my Neff oven would not heat up . Chose Gloteck because date to come out was faster than Neff . That was my first mistake . They came a week later said my oven needed a new part . I paid for call put and new part . Sometime later had date to come out to fix oven. They give time of 8 am to 5 pm . On day ready for engineer to arrive , only to get a call that my visit has been cancelled and given a new date . Really l am furious having to use microwave and not being able to cook properly . I just wish l had gone with Neff in the first place as only went with Gloteck because l was given a few days earlier so thought my oven would be repaired quickly . Not happy and would not recommend Gloteck.

Looked up this company as came recommended, however our experience was not a good one, 1st call out cancelled at 10.45 in the morning, next appointment 8-5 arrive at 5.10 and was not good, repair needed and new part! Part ordered and paid for £256 3rd visit cancelled (3 days taken off work) next appointment 8-1 (arrived 2.10) foreign gentleman very polite but hard to understand. Put new part in but same issue he was here for over 3 hours and left us feeling dejected, stated he would return to remove new part should it not work. Appointment 5 cancelled, 6 honoured with same gentleman who came in removed part and left my fridge in error mode when I caught him and told him his response was the part is broken and will continue! We will send you a refund!!! WTAF so 6 days off work with nothing but a headache! Since this occurred my husband studied the fridge and ordered the said part (£70) and guess what it works. Very annoyed with this money grabbing lack of customer service company. 6 annual leave days lost and nothing to show for it. Shame on you

This company should be removed from allowing to display positive only reviews. It's a joke. They have threatened us for non payment after they misdiagnosed a washing machine repair. We complained. Provided the proof that their diagnosis was at fault and no repair had been completed. They ignored that and have since threatened legal action AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! SCAMMERS!!!

A very disappointing service. Glotech fixed a minor fault with my washing machine to do with the release of fabric conditioner into the drum. Within 3 week the machine had developed a leak in the area where work had been carried out. Customer Service are insisting I pay for a new part. The costs to date are nearly the same cost as the washing machine which is only 2.5 years old. The company are only interested in taking more money and even asked me to do a review for them!!!! I would not recommend. I wish I had never used them.
