Absolutely appalling! Their assessor told us our integrated fridge freezer wasn't worth fixing after the callout. Then Glotech called with quotes to supply and fit a new one. Waited over a week to accommodate availability. Installed Sunday 19th June. Doesn't work. They say its not an installation problem so not their responsibility. They took nearly £600 before installation. Now we have to register the appliance and go to Hotpoint to sort who can't come out for another week. If I wanted to buy directly from Hotpoint I would have and the product would no doubt have been cheaper. Paid more purchase and installation. They sell faulty products the take no responsibility for them. What a CON!! Don't bother!! The worst after sales I have ever experienced 😡😡

Glotech came to my rescue when another company kept cancelling appointments to fix my fridge freezer. It was very easy to book a slot online with a choice of morning or afternoon slots. The engineer was prompt, pleasant and soon got the machine up and running. I would be happy to use Glotech again.

It was easy to make an appointment which was at an early date. The fitter was efficient and pleasant. A second appointment was necessary as a part was required. This was carried out in a few days. The fitter was again pleasant ant professional. Washer is now working perfectly.

Your service man sent me a text to say he would be with us on. You call handler phoned and til me he would arrive between 1pm and 5pm. He was booked in for the morning and changed it at about five passed 1pm. He could find no fault and stayed for about 7 minutes. He charged me £81.75 which I thought was disgusting. I could understand a service charge but that was a rip off. I asked him why so high and he told me insurance was part of the price. I told him I did not want insurance and how much less that was. He tried to explain that was the price and there was no choice in the matter. I told him that your firm is Epping customers off. I phoned your firm and told them this. I also told them that rip off Britain programme would be very interested in your scam. I want compendium for the way your company treated me and at least half of what I paid out to your technicians five minute observation skills only. Jayne Allen a very disappointed and angry customer.

Excellent service from talking to a real person on the phone to booking appointment follow up emails and very friendly efficient engineer Ben all done in 1 week ,Thank you Glotech will certainly use you again and pass i on to family and friends ?

Engineer can out didn’t even look at machine took money & left 2 engineer came out & it wasn’t what the first engineer said it was ….. I should get all my money back cos …… how is that call out when engineer didn’t even diagnose fault & just took money that trouble Service ….. then engineer said I can buy new one he Showed me some he said he’d put order in & you’d contact me waited to long so I contact you said to the lady you’ll choose more expensive one ……. & guess what more expensive so I cancel it Poor poor service to be honest it seemed like the right hand didn’t know what the left hand was doing …….

I would not use them again for a repair - I would have used a local company had they returned my call. Call out fee was £82 and they wanted £230 for a new board for Hotpoint washing machine so decided to buy a new one from them and got 50% of call out fee refunded. With hindsight I would have been better off sourcing the machine myself as I'm pretty certain I could have paid less. However I was very busy at the time and theirs was the easy option

I'm aged 94. My 6 year old Freezer stopped working and I requested a Glotech engineer who came and diagnosed a faulty fan. Next day in a Phone call from glotech I was told the fan was obsolete and unobtainable. As a consequence I purchased a new freezer (£900). As I had nothing to lose, I removed the fan from the old freezer and found it easily available from many internet sellers. On speaking to Glotech they said if it wasn't available from their supplier they couldn't get it !! Glotech then offered a refund of half the engineer's callout fee if I bought a new freezer from them ! I would not deal with this firm again.

Although ultimately our washing machine was past help, the technician was very efficient in getting to that determination, polite and helpful with replacement suggestions. Would recommend glotech.

Very disappointed engineer only attended for a short period did not have part to fix the problem Still had to pay full price if I were you I would avoid this outfit like the plague

Good morning Richard, Our engineer attended your premises on the 8th and diagnosed the issue, unfortunately as this was not a common fault we needed to order a new part for yourself but unfortunately you did not want to go ahead with this as the price was too expensive. We then sent you a quote from our sales team which you also did not want to go ahead with. We apologise that it wasn't a cheaper fix for you. Kind regards,

Both guys who came to look at the issue were good and once the second guy who came out for the second visit explained everything to me that he would need to do to try and fix my fridge and knowing this might not work I decided not to go ahead with the extra works. Good company, helpful when arranging the appointment to fit in with when I was home and would use them again if I had any more issues.

Wouldn't recommend, the service is efficient but the call out charge far too expensive especially when the problem in my case couldn't be resolved without paying another £240, just wanted £81.

Do not use them to repair your washing machine they know from the description of the fault that the repair is more expensive than buying a new machine. Ripping people of for a technician to be in your home for 5 minutes and charge almost 100 pounds call out fee.

Requested a fridge repair, wrote in box exactly what symptoms where. On engineer's arrival told her the same thing as I had written. She said that it was irreplaceable, so £100 more or less down. Why put the problem down and they still arrive knowing that there was nothing they could do! Trying to be eco friendly and repair rather than replace, don't bother put your call out charge towards a new machine.

Honestly don’t bother wasting your money! I was charged 2 separate call out charges for 1 call out looking at a microwave and washing machine! £93.54 per item. The engineer just said the microwave is too old and can’t get the parts! really worth £93.54 for that. Washing machine parts will take 3 weeks to come and offered me a £900 Zanuzzi as a replacement. I went to AO.com and got a fantastic deal on a washer dryer and delivered the next day for less than a 1/3 of the price. Anyone looking to use Glotech repair save your money and go to AO.com as they have really knowledgable staff who want to help!
