We had a reluctant engineer visit to our faulty dishwasher. We paid the fee before arrival and then when the engineer arrived he did not knock on the door or ring the bell but phoned me to ask if anyone was at home. If I hadn't answered the phone I think he would have driven off when in fact we were at home. When he came into the house he said 'it's probably the heater element or the control panel and it will cost £190 so it's not worth repairing and said we should get another dishwasher'. At this stage he had not even looked at the dishwasher. I insisted that he checked the gasket because I thought there was water in the sump and he reluctantly looked and found water in the sump. He drained it and said it should be fine now, but if we have any more problems we get a free call out. He did not investigate how the water got into the sump. After putting the dishwasher back in place he left, but then we realised that he had not levelled the dishwasher and we now have an integrated dishwasher with a sloping door, with the bottom of the door jutting out 1 inch in relation to every other kitchen cabinet but flush at the top of the door. I have no faith in the repair being permanent because the cause was not investigated. I do not know if this engineer is typical of others but all I can say is that he was reluctant to do anything helpful.

Brilliant. The engineer turned up on time, was friendly and knowledgeable. Fixed the issue quickly and showed me what had caused the problem. Can’t fault these guys. Totally awesome

Very efficient service, took an initial payment over phone engineer came fixed oven within 30 mins and I payed balance (parts) would recommend Glotech. MR. CORNER (Northolt)

Service was good and part arrived within a few days. When the part was installed the engineer was angry due to the limited time slot (apparently was given only 40 mins and took him an hour). This increased stress when the installation and the kitchen was full of water.

i booked fridge repair more than two weeks, the 1st D a guy came(between 9-12) arrived at 11:15 checked the fridge in less than 15mnts he told me you'll have to switch off the fridge for 24h before our next visit next Monday, and he said they will order the part. so Sunday to monday Fridge off. no one come on Monday when i called they say they ll come on Thursday, so i did same thing for Thursday, (between 12-5) the guy came at 3:30) he removed the old part and break it but when he was going to place the new part he found out it's not the right one!!! so he explained to me, and that made me so upset,cuz that s not professional at all.. and the fridge was not working any more because he break the part.. i stayed a week without fridge and this morning they sent me messages that they re coming between 1-5 i called them at 3.30 they said sorry we don't have any booking for you,! i said WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU JOKING! THIS COMPANY IS A REAL SH**T.. but the money they took it every visit 50£ and i paid the part 50,so 150£ and nothing was done, worst i am witout fridge for nearly 10days..before at least the freezer was working only the chill wasn't working very well..

Appointment booked for the next day following my call. Oven repaired quickly by helpful engineer. Would recommend.

Very efficient and knowledgeable engineer. Telephoned to let me know was on the way, only complaint was not being able to give specific time when booking for someone to come out, and having to wait in all day.

Was very happy with the service I received when my washing machine broke. The engineer came and was able to fix it there on the spot as he had the parts. Was reasonably priced to. Would recommend

The service from GloTech was fantastic. They came out promptly and on time, were very courteous but then realized that I had made a mistake with the spare part for the microwave repair. They let me re-order the correct part and then returned again on the agreed date and fitted without problem and VERY courteously did not charge for the return visit that i had caused. Will definitely use again and would HIGHLY recommend for their excellent customer service.

The appointment was kept promptly (albeit right at the end of the time slot) and the engineer (Francis)could not have been more helpful , or sympathetic when he was unable to fix the problem. He advised us on our options and suggested some next steps.

Only problem we had was finger problems on fitted oven. But technician very understanding and gave a demonstration of correct operation. High price for experience but at least we’re up and running again.

I was surprised. My oven is 17 years old and failed to reach required temperature. I Googled faults, and reviewed possible repairers, although feared large investment in a new oven. The whole process was clear from the initial contact, detailing costs and arranging a home visit. It worked, confirmed by email, phoned by technician en route, and repaired. One problem could not be fixed and he took a photo on his phone to show me why.

Would never use again Don’t ever ever use Glotech repairs if you live in north London. They are nothing like the sales department who have always been helpful. Shockingly appalling service .. my washing machine broke down 3 weeks ago. I paid for a 48 hour response and they sent an engineer 2 days later, who said as soon as he saw the machine (Miele) that he “didn’t do our model” . We would need another engineer. He booked in another engineer who couldn’t come for 3 days and then when the engineer came he said he would have to order a part which I paid for there and then. When I asked to book the next visit I was told they couldn’t book another slot until the part arrived which would take 3 days. When I called 3 days later to check if the part had arrived I was told that I had paid for the wrong part and they realised after he left that they had ordered the wrong part. The correct part was more expensive so they were waiting for me to call them to pay. When I asked them why they didn’t call me they said they were waiting for me to call them to arrange this. When the part arrived 3 days later they called and said the earliest availability for the engineer was in the following week. When the time came the inexperienced engineer (who doesn’t do our machine) turned up and said he didnt know why he was sent as he didn’t do our washing machine and I would have to book the right engineer which would take another 3 days. Said engineer turned up last Friday and fixed the New part saying he had fixed the machine. Lo and behold on Saturday it stopped working with the same problem. I had to wait til Monday to call them and say they hadn’t fixed the problem and the engineer needed to come back. They said they had no availability until yesterday (Weds) between 8 and 1. I waited all day yesterday. Despite an emailed booking confirmation the engineer didn’t turn up. When I called the office at 1pm yesterday to check if the engineer was coming, a very stroppy woman said that she couldn’t do anything about it and that I should just wait . After asking her to check with him she tried to call him but he didn’t reply. I have had to rearrange work commitments every time an appointment was made and taken time off to make myself available. I was worried yesterday as I needed to go out so wasn’t sure what to do . . 2 hours and 3 calls later at about 4pm another person I finally spoke to asked me if I wanted to make a complaint. He also said he would find out what happened and call me back. He didn’t. I’ve given up and I think it’s astonishing that this is acceptable customer services in their eyes

Engineer listened to what problem was, he tested the machine and diagnosed fault . Spare part was on the vehicle and aching back in service within One hour. Explained what was happening all through. Excellent service and one satisfied customer.
