There was no confirmation of the engineer visiting. When I rang Glotech 30 minutes before the end of the 5 hour waiting time, they could not get hold of the engineer. No apology or reason has been given for why he didn't attend. I emailed to cancel the job as I urgently needed assistance so had to book another company . No acknowledgment or apology has been made but I have received 2 automated emails asking for my feedback so here it is !!

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate this as it gives us ways to continually improve. I am sorry that we were not able to get hold of the engineer, this could have been because they were at another job before yours or they were driving and unable to pull over to safely answer the phone. I will look further as to why the engineer was running late and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We hope your washing machine is now working well.

The engineer has had problems sorting out the problem with my dishwasher / I thought it was fixed but no such luck. The drain is still blocked. Where do I go from here? Shall I give up and buy a new dishwasher or do you ha e someone on your staff who is more familiar with Meile Dichwashers? i would appreciate your comments.

I would NOT recommend this company. I booked a technician to fix my cooker. I told them, exactly, what was wrong. Eventually, after changing the appointment dates 4 times, someone turned up. He was here 5 minutes and said that he did not have the part but it was in stock. He told me that he could not progress further unless I paid him £137. 79. Stupidly, I paid him. He told me that he would be here the next day. He didn't turn up. Again, this company took weeks to give me a date for repair. After many lame excuses, such as his van broke down and they did NOT have the part in stock. Once again, they messed me around with dates to come and fix my oven. I was, at this point without an oven for 8 weeks. I cancelled them and requested they return my money. A supervisor told me that they could only return £40 as the technician did originally attend. Another date was fixed for the repair which they also did not attend. I managed to get all my money back via my bank. Glotech then sent me threatening letters if I didn't pay them a total of £137.79 again?? Meanwhile, I bought the part for £17 from a supplier on the internet. I got a local man to come and fix it in for £40. Job done. A saving of £81.45. I would never use this company again. They are liars and totally unreliable. They overcharge horrendous prices.

This company are 11/10, our engineer Gavin is professional, honest & always gives us the best advice. We had issues with our Liebherr product and Gavin tried everything possible to resolve the issues before advising us that it was condemned as it’s over 10 years old. They also supply a range of products that are competitively priced and I would not hesitate in recommending Glotech

I request this company’s service to fix my microwave. Basically someone came to my house, told me that the it wasn’t possible to fix it and charge me £100, just that simple! So, what’s the point of describing the entire issue prior the technician visit? Why not behave as a legit business and told me straightaway that they can’t carry on with the job? Please ask yourself those questions before even think about do something whit them. Complete scam.

My washing machine door would not open. An engineer was arranged in good time and he was very quick to remedy the situation. He confirmed that I needed a new lock and door and he ordered these immediately. I was notified that the parts were in and an appointment was made to fit them. Jess arrived promptly and was efficient and quick to replace the lock and door. Both engineers were friendly and capable. Would definitely use this company again. I was very pleased with the service I received.

Everything was very efficient from the booking system to the arrival of the electrician. However very disappointing to have paid over £90 for a visit only to be told that the appliance was not repairable.

On this occasion I managed to sort the problem myself but I have used Glotech several times in the past and have found them efficient, friendly and helpful. On this occasion I cancelled a visit at short notice with no problems I Glotec will always be my first port of call!

This company will ask you for money if you book a call without sending an engineer. They are bullying me constantly to pay for a service they haven't provided. Stay away this is a scam...horrible horrible practices.

Please provide your details so that this can be fully investigated. If an engineer has attended your property then we should be paid for the service provided if no engineer attended we would not be charging for a service and when payment is made upfront if the repair is cancelled before the engineer attends the property a refund would be given. Please email your details to repairs@glotech.com email address for a customer service executive to investigate fully and respond in full. Without your details and chance for a fair reply, this is a very unfair review Thank you

I PREPAID GLOTECH TO REPAIR A FAULTY BEKO WASHING MACHINE. I REQUESTED THEM TO NOTIFY ME WHEN THEY WOULD ATTEND, THEY DID NOT AND GAINED ACCESS VIA THE TENANTS. THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE QUOTED PART, THEY GOT THE MACHINE WORKING BUT LEFT IT MAKING A DREADFUL NOISE. GLOTECH THEN QUOTED AN ADDITIONAL £165 TO REPAIR THE MACHINE. I REQUESTED BARCLAYCARD TO STOP THE PAYMENT. GLOTECH THEN ISSUED A SECOND AMENDED INVOICE WHILST BARCLAYCARD WERE STILL INVESTIGATING MY CLAIM, WHICH BARCLAYCARD TOLD ME THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO DO. ALTOGETHER GLOTECH OFFER A TERRIBLE LEVEL OF SERVICE AND HAVE AN AGGRESSIVE APPROACH TO THEIR CLIENT. DONT USE THEM!!

Good afternoon, I am sorry to be reading this it is a very disappointing review from you. The engineer attended the property and reset the stat switches, other parts were required to be ordered to resolve this, various team members and our engineering Manager and accounts tried to contact you to discuss this from April onwards- unsuccessfully. We carried out a service for which you have not paid, the engineer attending the property, diagnosing faults on your appliance, he worked on the appliance whilst there and identified parts required to resolve the problems with your appliance. You chose not to proceed with the repair and not to pay for parts which we understand however we provided you with the service and the options for which there is a charge payable this is all we have asked you for.
