“Two guys came and confirmed that our fridge freezer was not cost effective to repair. Very friendly and helpful. They did suggest that their sales team calls us to offer deals on a replacement. I agreed, but said that they had to act fast as we were without a fridge freezer. They suggested someone would call later that day or next day. However, we only received a call 4 days later, which by then, we had already ordered, took delivery and fitted the replacement via AO. Shame, because I was willing to talk with Glotech for this.”

“Wonderful service and an engineer (Kingston) who really new his stuff Before contacting Glotech we tried several local engineers who on hearing it was a top loading washing machine which had broken down Within 30 mins Kingston had found the fault corrected it and left fully functioning Many thanks to all”

“Do not book them ,they are just a scam i booked for repair and the man didn’t even look at it and asked for £90 and said the same thing we already told him that drum is making noise.Highly unprofessional and scam ,ripe off site.”

Good afternoon, looking at the notes on your booking which you made on the webb the fault was noted as "making a loud noise". When the engineer attended who is trained and experienced he was able to quickly deduce that the Bearings had gone, the seal had perished and a new heater was required on his report the cost of these against your appliance would make this uneconomical for you to repair, we feel that it is very unfair for you to review stating as you have when actually your appliance was in a very poor condition and this is not the fault of the engineer or the business. Had the engineer been able to address the possible fault from your description then he would have done so . Our pricing is clear and the cost of an experienced engineer attending is clearly given to all customers. Thank you we wish you well.

“I was abit disappointed that the engineer that came didn't even attempted to look at the fridge. He basically saw the installation wasn't right and then said the noise it was making meant it would be too expensive to fix. It didn't feel very scientific. £99 for nothing really. They did get someone out very quickly though and they did turn up on time. He also told me what the sizes were needed to go in the space I have.”

“Didn’t even open the machine, not even 5 minutes, still not convinced the problem is the drum. I would have felt more assured if the top of the machine was taken off so as I could have seen the issue. £89 and a couple of minutes later and still not fixed.”

Good afternoon. the engineer attended a reported fault of "Fault:Very noisy when spinning, possibly needs a new belt." however our experienced engineer was able to diagnose quickly that it was not the belt but was indeed the Drum which needed replacing. Due to the cost of this you chose not to proceed as it was uneconomical this was on the 7th June on the 8th June our team contacted you as a followup and you informed them that you had already replaced the appliance. We wonder if you were not confident with the diagnosis why would you not get a second opinion either from us or from a third party. It is always very frustrating that an appliance cannot be economically repaired whoever the appliance condition is not the fault of Glotech or the engineer. the engineer cost of travelling and attending still have to be covered and had you wanted to proceed after paying for the parts required there would have been no additional labour cost its just that the drum assembly, heater and seal required did not make it economical for you to continue. We do therefore feel this review is unjust in the circumstances, however wish you well. Thank you
