“Initially the repair was arranged for the next day, but no one turned up. When I phoned I was told that a message had been left, rearranging for 5 days later (my fault for not picking up the message). The washing machine hasnow just been repaired and I have put my first load on, and there is a rattling noise when it spins. I have phoned and been told the engineer will get back to me, but nothing so far. Will I have to pay again?”

“Couldn't fix the tumble dryer. Didn't order the part until I spent 40 mins on the phone to the company that you subbed it out too. They were not going to order it until the following day. Having ordered it there express delivery takes 3vdays to arrive which is ridiculous as Espares do it next day, as do most companies. It will have taken over a week to repair. Next time we will go with an aeg agent who will carry on the van the part as it wasn't an unusual one. Very unhappy.”

Dear Mr Weekes Thank you for your feedback and we are disappointed our service did not live up to your expectations. We would like to apologise if you felt we were delaying the ordering of the spare part; this was not the case nor our intention. There is a cut-off point each day to place orders for spares. As this point was missed even ordering on the same day would not have been processed by the supplier until the following day. Whilst we understand certain independent suppliers may be able to provide a next day delivery, to provide the highest quality products we source our spares directly from manufacturers and avoid the 'middle-men'. Unfortunately some manufacturers do provide a lead time of 3-5 working days, as on this occasion, which has led to your dissatisfaction. As one of the leading repairers in the country, repairing almost all makes and models of appliances, we do our utmost to ensure we keep a good range of commonly used spares with us. On rare occasions we do fall short where we don't have something on our van due to the ever-changing market. We would like to once again apologise and are disappointed we did not meet your expectations on this occasion, and hope you may give us another chance in the future should the need arise. “You took 2 days to come out which is pretty quick. I like the fixed charge for labour. The chap that fixed it needed to order a part but was back the next day without fail. Basically it was an efficient operation and made a customer happy.”

“I booked an appointment for Wednesday morning between 8am and 1pm, I took a morning off work and waited and no one came. I tried to call the repair man, the name you emailed me but no reply and no answer to my message I tried to email your customer services and again no response, I have now booked a local repair man direct to come out, the experience of booking through Glotech was unfortunately a waste of time.”

“The engineer arrived on time, and fixed the cooker with no drama. He diagnosed the fault quickly and had all the parts in his vehicle to fix. I paid by debit card and was assured the parts were genuine and had a guarantee. Would use your Company again but hopefully not for a long time. Thank you”
