“You website said fully stocked vehicle not the case came in a small car with a little tool bag walked in condemned the larder fridge with in 2 minutes of walking in the guy was friendly. Expensive call out at over £80 for a 2 minute visit.”

Good morning, looking at your booking you had a very experienced engineer who has assisted Glotech during the busiest times to ensure that we can attend as many requests as possible especially so close to Christmas which is one of the busiest time in the year. With his experience he was able to quickly identify that the appliance had damaged insulation and the compressor over heated therefore the appliance would be deemed as Beyond economical repair. We do understand that this can be very frustrating when an appliance is unrepairable however however the cost of an fully qualified and experienced engineer and a timely diagnosis cannot be undervalued . I would however like to still thank you for taking the time to review for us as all feedback is valuable to us. We wish you well with your replacement appliance.

Good afternoon , we are sorry to read your review, I can however assure you that we make no money by sending qualified and experienced engineer to attend a repair and just try to up sell, if we were looking to do this the opportunity would be there in the first phone call with you before filling a valuable diary slot and sending and experienced engineer out on the road, recommending you replace an appliance would only be due to your appliance being unrepairable. I can see the notes on your details say that our sales team could not assist with a replacement for you as they could not match a direct replacement and that you will be looking around yourself we understand it is frustrating when an appliance cannot be repaired however I can assure you the engineer did all he could to assist. - thank you we wish you well with what eve replacement you find.

“Very disappointing. Charged 3 separate call out fees for 3 appliances which were all looked at on the same visit by the same guy. (£267 later!) No resolution to fix any of the appliances. I feel pretty ripped off and will not use again or recommend.”

I feel that you comments are unfair to the business and the engineer .This is a very disappointing review to read about one of our top engineers who has a great reputation with our customers. looking at the notes on the system against your repairs, each appliance is treated differently as each may require time according to the appliance issues. All of your appliances have been diagnosed by a very experienced engineer His work notes state a) American style F/F - solenoid to activate the ice feed damaged " customer will prefer to get ice cubes out manually rather than replace the assembly case augur motor" b) Hoover tumble drier E15 error indicates heater relay, condenser is choked up and never been cleaned which has caused the issue with the heater relay and heater. requires new pcb, condenser and heater customer will replace locally c) Wine Cooler- Compressor faulty which has caused an issue with the pcb. Requires new Compressor and regas, as well as pcb. Customer will replace the unit later. Parts could be ordered for you if you had chosen to proceed. Thank you

“My Bosch dishwasher was leaking and was promptly fixed a very nice man efficiently. That is £81 well spent and very happy with the friendly and helpful service. WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND!”
