“Came out when said and not waited long cant fault that but the engineer just plugged his metre in and said no fault so did not get to the problem I felt something was sticking but he did not want to look for that so had to pay £81 just to be told that in 10 mins”

“the repairman was very helpful and he knew just what to look for , he raised the machine,snd I left him to it not having to look other his shoulder. when finished he left the area back to normal and was helpful with advice , would use again for any repairs”

“Was charged £93, for a 10 minute look at my dishwasher to say it would cost us another £300, to try and fix two wires that had snapped, which we have now repaired ourselves. Such a rip off!!!!!”

“The repair man (Dean) was polite and courteous, efficiently got my Kenwood dishwasher sorted ( piece of pottery in the pump) explained how this sort of thing can happen and what to look out for in the future. Satisfied customer. 😀”

“The charge would have been good value had the engineer been able to fix but he was only able to test with his meter to be able to tell me it was the BCB and wasnt worth repairing. If I had been able to speak to an engineer directly before the call out I probably could have made that jusdgement without incurring the charge. The engineer was very helpful and pleasant but obviously a sub-contractor. I didnt get the experience of a 'family run business' . also the first time I booked online didnt appear to have registered and I had to phone and then rebook online because I got cut off on the phone call.”

“Honest reliable and knowledgeable repair man. Dean was polite. Clean and offered great advice for future care of my condenser drier. Would not hesitate to pick up the phone and contact glotech again should any of my other appliances become technical.”

“If I could give zero stars I would. An engineer came to fix my washing machine and stated that he needed to order spare parts and arrange another day for installation. No problem. A week later he was sick so second appointment delayed. He eventually came, installed said parts and left. The machine was worse than before and now was causing a burning smell. A week later a different engineer came to inspect and stated that the parts I had paid for were not needed and that I needed something else. He left but never got back to me. A week later again a part was ordered that was stuck in France (another delay). A week later again they were scheduled to install the part but delayed it for another day. Then the next day they stated that a Trainee could not install the part alone so would have to wait ANOTHER WEEK for a qualified engineer to install. Week later and they did not turn up and just agreed to give me a refund. Six weeks it took them and then they cancel whole thing and refund me. An absolute disgrace of a company. TLDR: Bought wrong parts, never came to install correct parts, after 6 weeks they cancelled everything and gave me a refund. Disgrace.”

“My Siemens oven was malfunctioning intermittently. I called Glotech and they sent a specialist Siemens engineer the next day. However he couldn't locate the fault. Then I had to call again 5 months later but didn't have to pay for a second call out. The engineer suggested replacing the temperature sensor. He said if that didn't rectify the fault I could have a refund within 6 months. As my oven is 16 years old I will probably buy a new oven if the fault recurs. I am very happy with Glotech and their policy of one call out fee and refund guarantee.”

“Can’t fault the service. Arranged the appointment within a few days. Rearranged to order the part the turned out to be the faulty one. Arrived within the time slot and fixed it.”

“A good response but although you advise repair is often completed in 24 hours this has never been my experience. 3 to 4 days is more likely! The engineer was quick and customer friendly.”

“Unfortunately, the technician looked at my washing machine and said the parts would be too much to repair it. So, even though the call out was quick and reliable, after adding on the VAT to the online fixed price, it works out very expensive for a 10mins visit.”
