“He was here for less than 10 mins, said it needed a part and charged me nearly £90. I then got a phone call to say the part was unavailable. So nearly £90 out of pocket and no freezer!”

“Mixed bag, unfortunately. Booked as quick turnaround, but appointment cancelled twice. The engineer that eventually turned up was excellent and honest pointing out the machine was not cost effective to repair and helpful in indicating the negatives of the machine we had.”

“Engineer told me it would be cheaper to replace rather than fix my fridge. A phone call later that day from Glotech said they had the same fridge is stock. I arranged to have it fitted. Not only does it have one door and one inside shelf less than the old one but it is damaged. Email after email from me have been ignored. I feel extremely frustrated and do not know what to do next.”

“Alex from Glotech was punctual, efficient and helpful. He confirmed that a microwave that does not work except to make a significant explosion, a flash of light and a faint smell of burning is probably not in the best of health. It has been recycled. The call out fee, though far from cheap, was as I had been informed.”

“The Glotech representative who came to the house was punctual, courteous, helpful and efficient. He appeared to know what the problem was and showed me that after the oven had fused some applications downstairs, I needed to set the clock for the main oven to work again. He advised me that the oven would have to be cool to come out of the housing to examine what the fault was. So he advised that I call Glotech again if there was a further problem. He also advised that, if I had further problems with the oven, to call Glotech out again, and I would not be charged for the call-out fee but I would pay for any parts.”
