“Service was excellent, the price quoted and agreed was not what I paid, they charged me VAT As a domestic job the vat should have been included in the quoted price!!”

“Very happy with Dean’s quick diagnosis of the problem with our Kenwood American style Fridge/Freezer. With the recent very hot weather we needed the fridge to work. He quickly got us going again and fitted a spare part for us subsequently. Our thanks for your efficient repair service”

“My Bosch dishwasher had ceased to function with the "Check water" light constantly flashing. The instruction manual said this indicated a technical fault, and I should get an engineer to have a look at it. I picked Glotech from a Google search and made an appointment online. The following day I received a phone call from Glotech asking me to alter the appointment from the afternoon to the morning of the same day. This made no difference to me so I agreed. The engineer phoned me on the morning of the appointment to say he was on his way, and arrived within the time slot he gave me. He made a very thorough check of the dishwasher and was in the house for about 40 minutes. He took some photographs of the inside of the machine, which he showed me. There was some muck accumulated in one area which he said was causing the problem, and he had managed to fix this, although he did say the ultimate solution was a replacement part costing £145. He said he would not recommend this at this stage, but that if the machine gave me any further problems it would be something I should consider. He said he had ruin the machine three times with no apparent leakage and also suggested as a quick fix if the problem recurred that I could pull the machine out and tip it backwards to clear the water that was causing the problem. I have run the machine three times since without problem. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the check made by the engineer, and on this basis would be happy to use Glotech again.”

“It was easy to book a repair visit for our failed wine cooler. Engineer arrived on time. Although they were not able to fix our appliance, and we paid extra for a refridgeration Re-gas . Glotech were helpful and refunded the Re-gas cost we paid. So they only lose one star! I would certainly use them again.”

“This company seem to be based in Chippenham but have a Bmth number, but still came quite promptly. We then had to wait nearly a week for the new pump to come even though I told them that was the problem, you could not fail to hear it. Came today and fitted it but had to use old filter as new filter leaked in new pump, clever these Chinese! All well in the end and now its so nice to have our machine back-a 40C load in 63 mins, not like these new ones! 140 mins ha!.”

“Repairs carried out no problem. Call out price excessive £100+ Visit only lasted 30mins I understand travelling time needs to be paid for but still seems excessive”

“Excellent service. Only gripe is cost per call out. Mine was simple, quick and straightforward, so a call out fee of £90 seemed a bit steep. Having said that, I was advised of the fee beforehand, just didn’t realise it was only a two minute job for the engineer.”

“Everything tickety boo. Easy to follow site ,punctual, smart. efficient and fair. Can't give 5 because spares cost seemed a bit inflated but, that could be the case of the tail wagging the dog.”
