“Having had some very poor experiences with other repair companies we really needed to find somebody else this time to look at our Miele Washing Machine that was flashing an 'error message'. We fortunately found the Glotech Repairs website. Booking a visit was a breeze with just some simple information that needed to be provided. The engineer (Max) turned up in good time for the am appointment. He was highly professional and just got on quietly dealing with the issue. There was no moaning or huffing and puffing like some that we've had in the past, Max just got on with it and when complete fully explained what had been causing the problem. He also took the time to give the machine the 'once over' and gave us a verbal report on its overall condition. From start to finish Glotech Repairs were first rate with a very much 'can do' approach to things - nothing was a problem.”

“I booked a repair on Tuesday 28th. No one turned up. Got a call from the engineer at 5.30 to say they couldn’t make it but could make the next Tuesday. I could not be home until 3.30. They agreed to this. I then received a all from the booking centre who told me the engineer was not working that day, but couldn’t contact the engineer so booked the repair in. I made it clear I could not be home until 3.30 and asked that they call if this could not be sorted. I heard nothing until an engineer rang me at 1.30 on Tuesday to say they were at my house. So I have paid close to £100 for no service at all and the fact I have received this email asking if my repair is been done indicates that there is a major issue with communication in your company. I will not be recommending your company to anyone.”

“It was an expensive call out. The engineer arrived promptly and was very courteous. He quickly assured me that the fault was not with my Miele oven but with the electrical supply. The oven was put back in place and I was advised to call an electrician. For what it was, I found this to be an overpriced service that did not help me much. This was made all the more annoying as I had to wait for a few days, without a working oven, before the visit could be made. I will nt be using Glotech again, neither will I recommend them.”

“I highly recommend this company! I was very pleased with how they fixed my faulty Hotpoint dishwasher! Efficiently booked this on their website and I followed up with a phone call which was handled well and reassured me. Reasonable price for a callout, came next day! The engineer was friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the problem. He gave me lots of expert advice about my machine that I didn’t know! He told me that if I had a further problem with this issue, that I could refer to the job order and the follow-up visit would be free of charge, as it would be viewed as part of the initial order. Fortunately he seems to have fixed the problem so far! I will definitely use them for a call out again. A friendly, prompt, efficient, reasonably priced service!”

“Your man, Max, arrived, having found our house with no trouble at all. He was courteous, went straight to the misbehaving dryer which he soon demonstrated to be in an even worse state than I had thought. Given its condition, he said bluntly, that any repair would cost almost the price of a new machine. We’re going with his advice. So - a job well done. Thank you. S. Browne Hart”

The only improvement I can suggest is to have more people answering your phone or an online booking approach as calling and being 12 th in the queue is a pain to wait so long when you work. :)”

“I phoned the company earlier today as i have a problem with my freezer. They have a fixed call-out charge, of over £100, and that’s before a repair is carried out. That is taking the mickey and they should not forget that we all have choices of where to shop.”
