Hi Mr Gordon, thank you for your feedback. Looking at our call records to you I can see three telephone conversations with Scott in our sales team, I hope we can supply you with your next vehicle.

PLEASE BE AWARE DONT use these clowns totally ripped me off of £550.00. Started the agreement quite well good corespondent from Ben, I made it quite clear we didn’t need the van until early June due to the pandemic. Then the trouble started 2 weeks to respond to emails! Requested Ben to contact me regarding an update on the images of the van which I was promised to confirm that I was happy with my purchase ( still waiting for that) The correspondence is really shocking with this company I know we were in the middle of the pandemic but 2 weeks to receive an email ? staff were working from home so I was told. Then I received an email from Zoe to say the van was ready for delivery! By then I had had enough and asked for a refund. 2 weeks passed then I received an invoice for £550 for the cancellation of the the vehicle. This was so called a holding deposit which I was Promised to be REFUNDED on completion or change of mind. I Chased up my refund that’s when Tony the director got involved he got the most ARROGANT ATTITUDE tried his BULLY BOY TACTICS HIDING BEHIND THE PHONE SHOUTING AND SCREAMING down the phone, basically told me IN HIS WORDS to do whatever you want! you wouldn’t get a penny back. You can pursue through your credit card company or the financial ombudsman You have no chance. Please be aware this is shocking behaviour from a so called Director. This review will be edited when I receive my refund back. If not it will be left on multiple social media platforms.

Hi Mark, I can see you ordered a Citroen Berlingo with options fitted on the 30th March, with an expected due date of 20th April. You then requested for the order to be put on hold until June which we agreed to and then when we went to arrange delivery in June you advised you wanted to cancel. We kept a brand new £15,000 vehicle to one side for you for three months, unfortunately there are costs involved when you then decided to cancel a bespoke vehicle, we try to keep these to a minimum and only charged you £458.33+VAT to cancel, the costs in re-homing the vehicle were a lot more.

Be careful with this company, I ordered a van for my business partnership and was told it had to be registered to one person. I wasn’t told that it would make that person (me) liable if things didn’t work out. I am now stuck with a van for another two years. I have spoken to the finance company regarding the mis-selling of this policy and they passed it on to the appropriate section at Global Vans nearly 3 months ago yet I have had no response whatsoever. I’m now taking it up with a specialist solicitor who deals with mis-selling. Have always hoped that GV would come up with a fair compromise... but nothing so far. STEER CLEAR!

Hi, thank for your your feedback. You took delivery of the van on the 9th August 2019 with 136 miles on the clock (which was the mileage form the dealership to your address). I've just double checked with the DVLA and the vehicle was registered on the 9th August 2019. Please let me know what the issue is. Thanks

Hi Mathew, thank you for your feedback. I understand you are in conversation with our resolution manager regarding your van not having the load length that you expected, it is the exact van you requested but we will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution. Thank you for your business.

2 hours ago This is a worst company I have come across in my life. Very unprofessional and will sell you bunch of lies just so they can sell you a van. First they will be selling you something using old brochures so the spec of your van will be different from what you recive and they will blame their computer system for it. After I have signed the finance papers they could give me a delivery date coz they where waiting for a dealer with was not true as I found later they new the date. So one monday morning the van just showed up on my drive. An that was a another problem. Van was dirty like hello. Stuff was growing on it trim was missing or left in the door pocket scratched and looked like it was parked under a tree for last 6 months. I could be going on and on about the rest of issues with Global Vans. If you like to have a clear view of what you are buying and what you will get just go somewhere else. This company will just sell you bunch of lies. Thanks but no thanks. They done deserve 1 star.

Hi Marcin, thank you for your feedback. I can assure you that you have the latest model direct from Citroen's official converter. I agree the condition on delivery was not up to standard, unfortunately the supplier released the vehicle to the delivery driver without it going through the valeting bay, we both apologise for this and as discussed they are covering the cost of a full valet at you convenience. Thank you for your business.

ordered a Vn for Delivery for 1st July, was told it would arrive 20th june, 9th July now and I have been told I cant have a delivery date and will just have to wait. The salesman has not responded to a single VM I have left. Zoe, who is supposed to be keeping me updated on my order, was quite rude the last time I spoke to her and she told me I could not have a delivery date. I have had to suspend the photography for my website and therefore the launch of my website, and had to hire a vehicle for deliveries.

Hi Julien, thank you for your feedback. I understand delivery has now been booked for Friday, i'm sorry for any delays, we are working hard with our Ford dealer to get vehicles out as quickly as possible. Thank you for the business.

Absolute fiasco from day 1 ordered a 2020 van and they sent a 2019 and then refused to answer emails and calls. Had to get trading standards involved to resolve the issue. All pw readily available to show any one so you can judge for yourselves. also not most of these reviews are not real but this one is 100%. Avoid them and buy from your local garage who you can go back to to solve a problem. Real jokers here from beginning to end Avoid them

Hi Brendan, thank you for your feedback. I've reviewed your case and can see you signed an order form for a 69 plate, you took delivery of a 69 plate and signed the delivery note, you've driven it for a week and now want a 20 plate. The vehicle was registered on the 31st December 2019, the 20 plate came out on the 1st March, there isn't anything I can do change that. If there's an underlying issue that you have with the van, the finance agreement or our service we'll be happy to discuss and get it resolved. Once again, thank you for your business.

Ordered van on the 2nd of June with a verbal confirmation of 3 week lead time. Van is apparently in Dagenham and have had registration details since then.Numerous phone calls made and either not answered or returned. Keep getting told they will call back with an update by end of day and no response. I have offered to collect the van myself from Dagenham to speed up the process and I now have no van or means of working. Like others I will have to hire a van because of promises made about delivery times that have not been kept. Global we’re not the cheapest but went with them because of the short delivery time. Really disappointed with the service and from reading all the other reviews appears to be a pattern of promising short delivery times (knowing they cannot meet) and after numerous attempts to contact no updates to delivery time provided.

Hi Rob, thank you for your feedback, I can see you placed an order on the 2nd June and now we're three weeks later, unfortunately the vehicle has been stuck in the Dagenham Ford compound. We have now switched the vehicle in to an identical van that is ready to go and at no additional cost to yourself. We'll have the revised registration details to you later today and we can then arrange delivery. Sorry for the delay, we have experienced some frustrating delays over the past couple of months but we're pretty much through them all now. Once again thank you for your business.

Global over two months to get van & no answer to when. Ordered van & told all in place almost 2 months ago. Got told the reg etc. I know we in difficult times, but we get no answers back when ask how long delivery will be. We did test call with Global to order new van, we asked when we would get the van if we ordered today. Their colleague (name withheld for now) told us if we order a Ford, we would get the van within 3 weeks. So why are we waiting almost 2 months? I will & can alter this review if Global act after seeing it.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I understand your frustration, the original vehicle assigned to your order was located abroad in a Ford compound, unfortunately when the docks closed we couldn't get it in to the country until they re-opened. We have now switched your order to a unit that is sat in a UK compound so this will speed things up, we'll be in contact with a new registration/chassis number shortly. Thank you for your business.

Ordered a van explaining I needed one asap within a week, promised me a van if I had one already in stock to then be told I had a new deal, Month gone and no delivery date so I have a hired vehicle which now costs the buisness money, not answering my emails now so will take this further.

Hi Jason, thank you for your feedback. Looking at your file I can see we had numerous conversations since you placed your order on the 1st May. As discussed the original vehicle assigned to your order was stuck in a Ford central compound so we have switched your order to a van that is ready to go. We'll keep in contact and aim to get you your van as quickly as we can. Thank you for your business

Hi Sharon, thank you for your feedback, I can see you placed your order on the 1st May with a three week expected lead time which takes us up to 22nd May. I do apologise we are running a week late, our delivery agents were originally only delivering to key workers, this then opened up to everyone on the 22nd April, however there was a larger than expected backlog so we have experienced some delays which are now finally sorted. We'll contact you later today to discuss further. thanks for the business

These guys have no control of their deliveries. I was told i would have the van in 10 days and it has been 3 weeks and they still dont know when it will be delivered. They say they will only be able to give me 3 days notice! Dont listen to the sales pitch!

Hi David, thank you for your feedback. I can see you placed your order on the 5th May with a expected two week lead-time taking us up to yesterday. Apologies that your delivery has been slightly delayed, we are working with our delivery partners to get you a delivery date as soon as possible. The delivery agents were prioritising key workers but have now opened this up to everyone but there is a backlog which they are working through with reduced staff levels. We will be in contact shortly with your delivery date. Thank you for your business.

I ordered a van in december from global vans . Week 2 i had 3 different lights flashing . The break fluid is low. none of sensors work and theres an exhaust light that keeps coming up. I have rung global van 3 times to tell them and they have just said take it to ford no apologies or offer of a discount. I have to take a day off work unpaid and take it to the garage half hour away from my house to get it fix. i also have to pay £20 to hire the courtesy van for the day . If its not fix that day i have to take more time off work and pay more for the courtesy. DO NOT USE GLOBAL VANS. The customer service is awful and they do not care about you once they make their sale. they rang me every day for 2 weeks to try to sell me gap insurance but did not once call me to speak about the van . To make things worse my van was delivered with two dents . one in the side and one on the back bumper. I also have to take time off work to get these fixed . Make sure you check your van properly when you get it as i have only just noticed one of the dents. pathetic

Hi Will, thank you for your feedback. I can see you received your van on the 17th December, we emailed you on the 10th December with detailed instructions on how to inspect the vehicle on delivery. Unfortunately you only marked one of the two dents on the delivery sheet, we have spoken to the supplying dealer who have arranged for the dent to be repaired, it is a difficult situation when a dent is spotted a few days after delivery and not reported straight away, as a gesture of good will we will help to get the cost of repair covered (our aftersales team have been in contact today to get this resolved). Regarding the faults with the vehicle, it is a great shame when something goes wrong with a brand new vehicle, fortunately it is rare but when it does happen it is very frustrating, you are fully covered by the manufacturer warranty so we will work with you and Ford to get it fixed quickly. Once again, thank you for the business and we'll keep in contact.

Ordered a new stock commercial vehicle, did all paperwork required, paid monies, received the V5 but not the vehicle, some 4 weeks later and I'm still waiting on the vehicle, now coming up to 3 weeks late, do not respond to emails or phone calls - My recommendation - don't use this company!!! Absolutely no customer service and don't deliver - I now anticipate that I will need to take legal action against them to get my deposit back. :-(

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I can see you placed an order for a new Transit Custom Crew van just before Christmas. We gave you a three week lead-time which takes us to mid-January. Unfortunately due to the sheer volume of Fords being registered at the end of December they've had a bit of a delay in processing the pre-delivery inspections and moving the vehicles from the Ford holding compound. I can see you've had many calls/emails between yourself and our admin team. I can see we've given you a delivery date of the 22nd January. I hope this is all OK. thanks once again for the business.

A month late on delivery. Requested a 150bhp and got a 102bhp Missed out the front parking sensors when it was requested. plylining missed out and was fitted after the vehicle was delivered. Sales man was too bothered about his commision and ignores my phone calls. Spoke to tony and complained and he promised a phone call back its been 2 weeks and still waiting. Global Vans im very disappointed as this is non of my fault.Take your van back and ill have a full refund as im not driving something i dont want.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I can see we factory ordered you a VW Caddy which arrived in 12 weeks, that's slightly longer than a typical VW factory order takes so apologies for the factory delay. I've double checked the specification with your signed order and it is exactly as you ordered. I've asked our sales manager to give you a call to discuss any confusion. Thank you for the business
Posted 4 years ago
Staff confused about technical aspects of the sale especially the percentages, passed me to the manager who was also confused and argued rather than admit he might be wrong. Not all their fault as the marketing is written by someone who is also confused by percentages. You couldn't write it lol.

called last week regarding a fault with my van to be told to call the dealership direct which I did, the ford dealership booked me in a week later prior to my call then cancelled at 4:30 the day before appointment, not good when your self employed and planned the day ahead, so I called the team at globel a member of the team said they would call the dealership and call me straight back but no call was made, when time was getting on I decided to call globel again the lady I spoke to promised the team member that was dealing with it is on another line and would call me when he becomes available but yet again no call back now to my frustration the office is shut its not professional and I wont be using globel once my lease runs out in march next year, aftersales need to be improved self-employed need to know we can rely on getting to work the next day not phoning around trying to get your van fixed

Hi Ryan, I can see you took delivery of a Ford Transit Tipper 18 months ago. You are covered by the Ford manufacturer warranty for the first three years or 100k miles (whichever is first). I can see we advised you to call your local Ford dealership to book the vehicle in, I'm sorry to hear that they then cancelled your appointment, did they explain why? If you need any further help please don't hesitate to contact us. It's always frustrating if your vehicles goes wrong, the warranty is there to help you get it repaired at no cost to you but if the vehicle is business critical you may want to consider a full maintenance and replacement vehicle contract on your next vehicle which would cover you in these circumstances. Once again, thank you for choosing Global Vans, if we can help any further please contact us.

Just read the response to my review from Global Vans, it is correct that you offered as a gesture of goodwill to pay the excess for the windscreen damage and I did receive a phone call and an excellent apology for the way I was treated, i.e. by email letting me know that it was my responsibility to thoroughly check the van over before signing but it is not my responsibility to make sure the van is reasonably clean on delivery, as I explained the van was filthy so I was unable to see the damage until I had washed it. This is an issue to be taken up with your delivery company.

Shocking service. My wife is in the middle of trying to purchase a new van which she was promised would arrive in "normally 2 weeks but could be 3". It is now 3 weeks and we don't even have a date, oonce the finance is approved they don't want to know. Awful.
