Ordered a van explaining I needed one asap within a week,promised me a van if I had one already in stock to then be told I had a new deal, Month gone and no delivery date so I have a hired vehicle which now costs the buisness money,not answering my emails now so will take this further.

As discussed the original vehicle assigned to your order was stuck in a Ford central compound so we have switched your order to a van that is ready to go. Placed an order for a van at end of april was assured 2 to 3 weeks delivery max I received a reg number and chassis number the following day a month later I still have no delivery date and my calls do not get returned

Hi Sharon, thank you for your feedback, I can see you placed your order on the 1st May with a three week expected lead time which takes us up to 22nd May. I do apologise we are running a week late, our delivery agents were originally only delivering to key workers, this then opened up to everyone on the 22nd April, however there was a larger than expected backlog so we have experienced some delays which are now finally sorted. These guys have no control of their deliveries. I was told i would have the van in 10 days and it has been 3 weeks and they still dont know when it will be delivered. They say they will only be able to give me 3 days notice! Dont listen to the sales pitch!

Hi David, thank you for your feedback. I can see you placed your order on the 5th May with a expected two week lead-time taking us up to yesterday. Apologies that your delivery has been slightly delayed, we are working with our delivery partners to get you a delivery date as soon as possible. The delivery agents were prioritising key workers but have now opened this up to everyone but there is a backlog which they are working through with reduced staff levels. I ordered a van in december from global vans . Week 2 i had 3 different lights flashing . The break fluid is low. none of sensors work and theres an exhaust light that keeps coming up. I have rung global van 3 times to tell them and they have just said take it to ford no apologies or offer of a discount. I have to take a day off work unpaid and take it to the garage half hour away from my house to get it fix. i also have to pay £20 to hire the courtesy van for the day . If its not fix that day i have to take more time off work and pay more for the courtesy. DO NOT USE GLOBAL VANS. The customer service is awful and they do not care about you once they make their sale. they rang me every day for 2 weeks to try to sell me gap insurance but did not once call me to speak about the van . To make things worse my van was delivered with two dents . one in the side and one on the back bumper. I also have to take time off work to get these fixed . Make sure you check your van properly when you get it as i have only just noticed one of the dents. pathetic

Hi Will, thank you for your feedback. I can see you received your van on the 17th December, we emailed you on the 10th December with detailed instructions on how to inspect the vehicle on delivery. Unfortunately you only marked one of the two dents on the delivery sheet, we have spoken to the supplying dealer who have arranged for the dent to be repaired, it is a difficult situation when a dent is spotted a few days after delivery and not reported straight away, as a gesture of good will we will help to get the cost of repair covered (our aftersales team have been in contact today to get this resolved). Regarding the faults with the vehicle, it is a great shame when something goes wrong with a brand new vehicle, fortunately it is rare but when it does happen it is very frustrating, you are fully covered by the manufacturer warranty so we will work with you and Ford to get it fixed quickly. Once again, thank you for the business and we'll keep in contact.

Ordered a new stock commercial vehicle, did all paperwork required, paid monies, received the V5 but not the vehicle, some 4 weeks later and I'm still waiting on the vehicle, now coming up to 3 weeks late, do not respond to emails or phone calls - My recommendation - don't use this company!!! Absolutely no customer service and don't deliver - I now anticipate that I will need to take legal action against them to get my deposit back. :-(

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I can see you placed an order for a new Transit Custom Crew van just before Christmas. We gave you a three week lead-time which takes us to mid-January. Unfortunately due to the sheer volume of Fords being registered at the end of December they've had a bit of a delay in processing the pre-delivery inspections and moving the vehicles from the Ford holding compound. I can see you've had many calls/emails between yourself and our admin team. I can see we've given you a delivery date of the 22nd January. I hope this is all OK. thanks once again for the business.

A month late on delivery. Requested a 150bhp and got a 102bhp Missed out the front parking sensors when it was requested. plylining missed out and was fitted after the vehicle was delivered. Sales man was too bothered about his commision and ignores my phone calls. Spoke to tony and complained and he promised a phone call back its been 2 weeks and still waiting. Global Vans im very disappointed as this is non of my fault.Take your van back and ill have a full refund as im not driving something i dont want.

I can see we factory ordered you a VW Caddy which arrived in 12 weeks, that's slightly longer than a typical VW factory order takes so apologies for the factory delay. Staff confused about technical aspects of the sale especially the percentages, passed me to the manager who was also confused and argued rather than admit he might be wrong. Not all their fault as the marketing is written by someone who is also confused by percentages. You couldn't write it lol.

called last week regarding a fault with my van to be told to call the dealership direct which I did, the ford dealership booked me in a week later prior to my call then cancelled at 4:30 the day before appointment, not good when your self employed and planned the day ahead, so I called the team at globel a member of the team said they would call the dealership and call me straight back but no call was made, when time was getting on I decided to call globel again the lady I spoke to promised the team member that was dealing with it is on another line and would call me when he becomes available but yet again no call back now to my frustration the office is shut its not professional and I wont be using globel once my lease runs out in march next year, aftersales need to be improved self-employed need to know we can rely on getting to work the next day not phoning around trying to get your van fixed

Hi Ryan, I can see you took delivery of a Ford Transit Tipper 18 months ago. You are covered by the Ford manufacturer warranty for the first three years or 100k miles (whichever is first). I can see we advised you to call your local Ford dealership to book the vehicle in, I'm sorry to hear that they then cancelled your appointment, did they explain why? If you need any further help please don't hesitate to contact us. It's always frustrating if your vehicles goes wrong, the warranty is there to help you get it repaired at no cost to you but if the vehicle is business critical you may want to consider a full maintenance and replacement vehicle contract on your next vehicle which would cover you in these circumstances. Just read the response to my review from Global Vans, it is correct that you offered as a gesture of goodwill to pay the excess for the windscreen damage and I did receive a phone call and an excellent apology for the way I was treated, i.e. by email letting me know that it was my responsibility to thoroughly check the van over before signing but it is not my responsibility to make sure the van is reasonably clean on delivery, as I explained the van was filthy so I was unable to see the damage until I had washed it. This is an issue to be taken up with your delivery company.

Shocking service. My wife is in the middle of trying to purchase a new van which she was promised would arrive in "normally 2 weeks but could be 3". It is now 3 weeks and we don't even have a date, oonce the finance is approved they don't want to know. Awful.

Just bought my 4th van in 12 months from Global Vans and it will be my last. Van had a damaged windscreen which I couldn't see as the van was filthy, after washing it 15 minutes after delivery I noticed a 5cm scratch on the windscreen took pictures and sent them to Global Vans and the response was you signed for it not our responsibility. So apart from the poor communications i.e. receiving incorrect documents, promises of return calls that rarely happened, being sent incorrect registration number, so add to that an extremely poor after sales customer support this will be my last purchase from Global Vans.

Hi Alan, thank you for your review. We have offered to pay your £50 windscreen excess as a gesture of goodwill so you're not out of pocket. It is paramount that you check your vehicle over fully on delivery as the supplying manufacturer will typically refuse to cover any cosmetic damage if it is not marked on the delivery note. Regarding the change of reg, I can see you originally had '19' plate allocated which we later agreed to switch into the new '69' reg for no extra charge. Thanks again for your feedback, I hope we can supply your 5th van in the near future.

Not even worth one star. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Deposit paid, yet completely unable to give a delivery date. Finance documents not even sent, never mind signed, claim the bank details we gave are wrong, they are correct. Told them I can’t possibly proceed unless I know when van is arriving, so sadly would need to cancel order, their answer to that is that they just keep the deposit as the van is ordered, if it’s ordered you should be able to give a delivery date then. Got onto sales ‘manager’ Tony, who pretty much talked over me and insulted me, he got so heated he had to end the call, called me back in 20 minutes to apologise, within 2 minutes he was at it again, I asked to escalate the complaint and was told I couldn’t as his director was on the golf course! It’s now with our company lawyers, financial ombudsman, and BVRLA. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Absolute con artists.

As discussed the bank details you supplied were incorrect so the finance documents couldn't be generated, this forms part of this particular finance company standard procedure so if you enter the wrong details we can't move on to the next stage of sending you the finance documents and then booking your vehicle into delivery. If you would like to enter the correct details on the portal we can get the process moved forward. If you would like to cancel please advise and we'll send you the relevant cancellation paperwork. thank you.

I was so impressed at start but this soon went very bad. No ply wood in back on delivery No roof rack per agreement, this meant lost planned work of 3 days and a further day for wood and roof to be fitted no offer of compensation did ask nothing. Very poor communication once sale is agreed. Problems with paperwork re-signed more than. Told me deposit would come back in full before first payment, no true and didn't happen and wasnt full, jack said first year covered this isn't true and take this from deposit. For me this is one of the worst companies I personally have dealt with and has electrical contractor I dealt with a lot.

WORST service i have ever experienced. I am not one to write reviews, but if i can help anyone avoid the nightmare i have had, taking the time to do this review is well worth it. My van had finally died on me and being self employed i desperately needed a new one as quick as possible, as everyday i was off the road i wasn't earning. The van i was after was a ford transit custom. I phoned around three companies, Globalvans, Vanarama and vans direct. I decided to go with Global mainly because the salesmen on the end of the phone was so helpful, and i was told they have the van on the ground and ready to go. I was going away for a week the following week, so i needed to get the ball rolling before i left. I was told if i pay the deposit that day, sign the required forms via email, all the paperwork would be taken care of whist i was away and the van would be with me within 10/14 days.....perfect. I came back from holiday and no emails or paperwork. I gave them a few days and called them and they said "apologies its a problem our end. we will sort and and be in touch". One week later i had heard nothing, so called them again. I got told they needed my bank details again as they sent them over wrong and that was the hold up. Once done i was told they will be in touch, once again....nothing. This went on for 5 weeks with very little contact apart from the odd email saying they will be in touch. Towards the 4th and 5th week i was calling them 3 to 6 times a day with a promise of a call back to get this resolved, rarely did i get that call. Half the time i was getting through to someone who really didn't give a monkeys and once i was even told i was lying bout certain emails. At the end of the 5th week i decided enough is enough and i wished to cancel my policy and go elsewhere, they told me someone would be in touch to cancel......it took me a week to cancel my policy and they said i wouldn't be getting my deposit back. I was fuming and demanded i get my deposit back after being messed about so much. I got told i needed to speak to the manager. It took me another week after calling about 6 times a day to finally speak to the manager. I eventually got my deposit back 4 weeks after cancelling the policy. I have never experienced such a poor service in my life. If you are a self employed tradesmen like myself id urge you to go elsewhere. This has cost me a total of 7 weeks off work unpaid, and with a mortgage a lot of stress. I Decided to go with Vanarama after this and i had a van in 2 weeks. The difference in efficiency was unbelievable.

Totally incorrect to sell us a vehicle this way. they promised us the vehicle because it was available. 3 month waiting now!!!! No commercial follow-up. No Email. NOTHING We start paying the credit , and still not have the van It's a shame.

I can see you ordered a stock Chassis Cab which then went on to have a bespoke refrigeration conversion built on it, as per our last conversation on the 30/4 it won't be complete until the first week of July.

Global vans have been a nightmare. I ordered a van March 29th 2018 with a delivery date promise of withing 2 weeks. I received my van 5 months later in late August after many many emails and phone calls. When i received it it was not as it should have been. I had ordered a reversing camera and it was meant to be a genuine ford dealer fit. I got an aftermarket one. I told global vans quickly and they have not resolved it yet, June 2019. I am now dealing with financial ombudsman as global vans did not resolve this issue. The ombudsman has agreed that they have not supplied goods as described and I am in the process of next steps . The number of times I was promised a solution/ resolution or some action which then did not happen is unbelievable. Everyone I dealt with were always polite and courteous. But the process they use is just flawed so you are certain of only one thing, you might get the van you want when you want it. If you decide to make a purchase from these guys then before you do read all the reviews and take note of how many are verified when deciding what information to consider authentic. See how many follow my review in close succession and let that help you decide. Decide yourself I am not about to slag any one off, Ill just give you the facts.

This company is a TOTAL SCAM. They're selling techniques are unethical and they're operatives all lie. They pester you to get a deal and then when you sign a contract with them and part with your deposit you get no further contact from them. Only after contacting them for a delivery date was a told the vehicle was no longer available. I called 5 times to speak to a manager and 5 times I was promised a call back - 5 times I didn't get one! The salesman laughed when I question why this had happened and then told he couldn't understand why I wouldn't go with the van he suggested instead of the one I wanted!?!? Probably the most shocking service I have EVER received from a company.

Thank you for your feedback. I Can see you enquired about a new Ford Transit Custom on the 6/4. We supplied you with a quote from a batch of vehicles we had in stock with extra discount, we stressed at the time that this batch of vehicles was selling quickly but you didn't decide to order until the 25/4. At this time we were down to our last few and unfortunately by the time the finance was accepted all the stock had sold. We advised you of your new quote based on the next batch of vehicles but you weren't happy paying more. We offered to refund your deposit but you kept asking us to supply a vehicle at the original price, the only way for this to happen was to take another colour which you refused. I do apologise that all our stock sold in the time between quote and order, unfortunately our stock does move very quickly and the salesman did stress this to you at the time.

Unfortunately he was on holiday shortly after taking your order so your call should of been handled by his manager Jack but unfortunately he was away from the business on the two days you called back in.
