Will never choose again. Very disappointed. They give you a tracker. So if you overspeed or push harder the gas in trafic or hit the brakes, they add a premium to your monthly payment. So after i payed 3 monthly installments of 105£ starting with the 4th one they add us up to 417£. It is more than i pay for the van which include public liability goods in transit,etc... So nevere ever choose them again.

Hi Emil, As stated on our website and within our Terms and Conditions, once installed, the WiseDriving device will begin transmitting data regarding how you drive, which will be used to calculate your driving score. This will be based on but not limited to: • the speed at which you drive; • how quickly you accelerate; • how hard you brake; • when and where you drive. We advise that we will review your driving score and where any premium changes occur, we will notify you by e-mail 7 days before it is processed. Refunds may become available on the policy if the driving behaviour score improves. Many Thanks, Kathryn.

This company are crooks and villains. I just had to pay £240 just to cancel my insurance! Never mind the fact that any tiny change to your insurance comes with hefty admin fees.

Hi, If you are cancelling your policy then we factor in everything that you have paid when it comes to calculating your final fee's. Our cancellation fees are visible at the beginning of the policy and are chargeable if you do not finish the year with us. Regards, Dylan

They scam me with the administration fee even when my last company was responsible for massive delays with my paperwork. They are extremely hard to contact and quite impolite.

Hi, Thank you for the feedback. All of our chargeable fees are included within our terms and conditions, which we ask customer's to read and agree to before a policy is set up. We also include a link to the Terms and Conditions in the welcome packs customer's receive when the policy is created. Many Thanks, Kathryn.

The company is the worst insurance company in the UK, don’t know why I didn’t read the reviews as they let us know what a poor performing and shocking company WiseDrving truly is.

I have had the insurance policy for 2 months. My first month was fine. In the second month I have had an email to say my insurance is going up by £980 for the year due to my driving. I have asked for a full explanation as to why this is, and received nothing. I didnt get a warning to say what I had done to warrant my insurance going up by such a large amount. I feel the company is taking advantage of younger drivers who are unable to access the Full market of insurers. I still await your reply as to how you reached the figure increase

Hi George, First of all I am sorry to hear that you feel this way about your policy. Looking into your situation and why the charges go up, it is to do with the proportionate risk of you driving on the policy. Due to you being a high risk driver as it is, the score decreasing on the insurance indicates to our insurer that you are more of a risk compared to when you started this policy so this is added on at a proportion of your initial price. This is done by the underwriters, not WiseDriving. If you do seek to improve your score by ensuring your speed remains within the limits and your acceleration and braking is smooth and that you don't go out between 11pm - 5am. You should see an increase in score and if this increases by 10pts or more, you will be due money back on your insurance. You are in control of how much you pay! Regards, Dylan

If I could I wouldn’t have even put a 1 star!!! To begin with the company are good and had no problems, I was an ignorant young driver who thought cheaper the better (boy was I wrong). Had my blackbox installed and the guy who installed it had broken my glove compartment and I haven’t had a single apology or anyone offer to fix it for me when he broken it completely! It was going smoothly, I even recieved money back for driving good and I was happy about this (but little did I know they would just take this back) Couple of months back, I had a text message to state I was no longer insured. I panicked and phoned the company and they had told me that my blackbox had stopped working and they had “tried” to email me. Complete rubbish as I had no emails and check mine daily. I asked why they couldn’t have phoned my contact number and they said it isn’t their job to call customers! Charming! I was left with no insurance! No explanation, nothing! Later on I recieve an email for over £250 of overdue payments? When I had been keeping up with all my payments. I asked how this has come about they said it was administration charges because I had decided to leave the company. Which I turned round and said I didn’t decide to leave I got left with no communication and no insurance. The person on the phone who I believe was called “Joshua” was horrible and smalmy. He twisted my words and recorded just my answer to what was a different question he gave and rang my dad up told him he asked a completely different question and that was my answer! Which I highly doubt is allowed! Anyway we settled the so called “debt” because we didn’t want the hassle and we wanted to get away from this company. We had rude service from the staff before and after payment. Finally thought that was the last I would have heard from them... oh no! Wrong Again! They have emailed me months later after leaving them months ago, saying I have an overdue payment of 9pence!!! I kid you not 9p.... how? Money grabbing thieves. Useless. Rude and downright scamming company. Never ever use this company unless you want the hassle and a lot less money in your account!

Been with them for 2.5 years and they’ve just doubled my insurance cost after saying I have 200 miles to improve, after about 100 miles they’ve added £600 additional costs on and not given me any chance to improve my score since the email 4 days ago! Cost seems worthwhile at the start but not when they double your starting price, to try and achieve a higher score will put you more at risk of an accident because you’re constantly trying to slowly accelerate and keep to the speed limit Exactly, becoming more of a liability because you’re driving like an 80 year old granny.

Hi, We do apologise for the inconvenience. We are a broker and we work with a few different brands of insurance. We would hold you contact details on file if you have held a policy with one of our brands we manage. The email was sent out due to a technical error. We are working to resolve this as soon as possible. Please ignore the email, you do not need to do anything further. Again we do apologise for any inconveniences caused. Thanks, Kathryn.

Constantly asking for money on absolutely everything. Didn't feel like I had a break from this company asking for money and honestly started to feel like a scam. So happy with my current insurance company and the only charge ive ever had is 50P and only ever had money given back to me. Take a note from their book.

Hi, We do apologise that you’re disappointed with the service you have experienced. The WiseDriving policy puts the customer in control, it is based on your driving, if your driving is good you can see a reduction in premium, however, if your score decreases then you can see an additional charge. It is dependent on you as a driver and how you drive. When generating a quote online you are provided with the below information "If you drive well, you can earn reduced premiums and pay less every month! If you drive badly, your premium may go up" On page 4 of the terms and conditions, it states " We may adjust your premium on a monthly basis during the policy term to reflect how you are driving. This may result in either a reduction or an additional charge." We provide all of the information you need to make an informed decision based on your needs on whether this policy is right for you. Yours Sincerely, Jamie

Very poor service. Cancel my policy within first 14 days still didn't get my full money back plus they charged me for the box as well and there is no way you can send the box back and they also charge my 150pounds for the box that I wont be using. Very poor customer service. Never gonna use it in future. Instead by bit more money and take a proper insurance.
