“I have only just started my policy, and want to log in to check things but cant. I get a message telling me to click the link which sends an email that when I open it, tells me to click the link which sends me an email.......... and on and on. Tried the chat bot nonsense that tells me it wants to help but again keeps going round in circles, Very annoying. If I ever have to make a claim, I hope things work better than this.”

“Choosing and deciding on the insurer Homeprotect was a straight forward process. In a comparison website, Homeprotect came out, no, not at the very top, but within the top three of providers. After checking the details, what Homeprotect offered against their competitors convinced me to settle for this insurer. However, having said this, the quality of any insurer shows only in the case, when it comes to a claim (which hopefully never will occur).”

“Have used Home Protect for a couple of years. Easy to understand policy. Thankfully haven’t had to ever claim so never had contact with their customer service team so can’t comment on that end of the policy. Has been super price competitive. Would recommend!”

“I tried to cancel my cover and not renew the policy but was ignored and I am now locked In for another year. Would most definitely not recommend to others.”

“I can't really comment upon the service of Homeprotect as I haven't needed to make a claim but as a policy it appears to match my requirement. But I was disappointed that the renewal quote was higher than that advertised on comparison websites (for the same level of protection). As far as I understand this should not happen under the current regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). So I "renewed" by taking out a new policy. That is fine but it is an additional hassle that should happen.”
