“Contents insurers can only be measured by experience when making a claim (I haven't made a claim for over 20 years), customer service, quality of communication and reasonableness on annual renewals. My experience so far is ok, but not great on the communication front. There were significant differences between the quote offered on a price comparison web site and the actual policy I paid for. Significant expensive endorsements (locks and alarm requirements) were applied in the small print and it took a long time to get written confirmation from Homeprotect that the measures we had put in place would be satisfactory. On the plus side, Homeprotect is covering a couple of family artworks that have been problematic with another insurer.”

“Easy to deal with, question set up excellent. Online customer advisor was very good and ensured I fully understood my policy. Price was attractive as well, there were cheaper options but I felt homeprotect offered me the best outcome.”

“They have been very good about a on going claim I have they are a little slow get some contractors in to make the repairs and I am still waiting for contact and the excess is a lot more than I was expecting but Thats what it is ..”
