When I contacted HomeProtect informing them that I needed to make a claim they replied very quickly and made the whole procedure very easy and understandable . Never have I claimed before and their correspondence and very polite staff was just top quality . I had to phone Homeprotect on two occasions about the same policy. Each time the person I spoke to was very helpful and went through the cover with me in detail. The policy documents arrived by post within a few days as well as being emailed to me on the day I took out the policy. I would recommend this company if you are struggling to find home insurance due to someone named on the policy having a criminal record.

I have been with home protect for nearly 15 years and have never made a claim. I have two properties under insurance with you. Each year my insurance goes up by about 150. I called up to get a discount or lower the amount, but got nothing back. I will be serving for a new provider this week. I also asked for a VAT reciept to be sent. But was not given one. The women on the phone was very unhelpful.

Been wth homeprotect for 5 years now and when we had to claim the whole process and team were exceptional . In the 5 years the price hasn’t gone up in fact this year came down by £110 Would and have highly recommended homeprotect

I have only very recently taken out a buildings and contents insurance policy with Homeprotect (due to my previous insurer's premium increasing substantially) so cannot really comment on their efficacy vis a vis making a claim but what I can say is that it was pretty straightforward setting up the policy and the call handler's I dealt with were very helpful and efficient and accessing everything online is easy. Hopefully I won't have to make a claim but if I do I will leave another review telling you how it's gone.

I have more than property with Homeprotect and I rang to renew all three. Payment was taken and apparently all three were renewed. However when I looked at my account - one property had a new policy document the other 2 still had the renewal letter. This is problematic as I need to upload a copy of the document to show we have the correct insurance. I called and was told that the renewal team could not email me my documents and they could not update the documents on the portal. I was told to contact customer services through the Live chat. Which I did - they said they would update the paperwork. They updated the paperwork for one property, leaving one property with the wrong paperwork. I will now have to find time to Live chat them again. I had genuinely thought they could just send me a copy of my documents that I have paid for but apparently this is impossible. There was me thinking technology should improve functionality not make it worse.
