“Generally always a smooth renewals process. One of the few companies to still have a UK based call centre team - always easy to get through to them and very easy to talk with. Only negative is my yearly premium increasing due to me ‘changing’ jobs - my job going from ‘unemployed’ to ‘full time employed’. Despite now having a good, regular income, this ‘change’ is considered a negative and an indication of ‘instability’ according to the automated system!”

“I needed to make an amendment to my policy and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Really appreciate a uk based helpline, unlike many other companies. The amended quote came back from the underwriters promptly ensuring continuity of cover”

“Bought Homeprotect comprehensive content insurance for my flat content with a lot of the extras included at a reasonable price. Policy is with AXA which I like. Opted for nil vountary excess but Homeprotect has a £150 compulsory excess like many other insurance companies now, which I do not like. Makes a big barrier to claiming in case it is ever needed! Their web site is easy to use and you can complete your purchase within minutes. Overall, happy with the cover, price and quality of service received.”

“Just the thought of having to change my home insurance has put me off doing so for years. However this time I decided to go online and view a comparison site and Home Protect came up with the best price. Checked out the policy booklet on line which was easy to understand and everything ok so went ahead. Did have a query when I checked the policy schedule out so phoned up and spoke to a very helpful and friendly person who also answered the phone quickly so no long queue. All told an excellent all round experience.”
