“I had to call three times to try and buy a home insurance policy quoted to me from a comparison website. On the first time Policy handlers were busy and advised I would get a call back. I waited three days for the return call in which time my previous policy expired. On the second call I spent 40 minutes providing all the same details over again ("due to regulations") and gave payment details. Some weeks later I spotted the payment was never processed but no one from the firm bothered to call to tell me so again I was left without home insurance. On the third call I spent another 40 mins providing the same details again and finally I have home insurance. Trying to buy a policy from this company was a nightmare. They do not seem to be able to return or effectively handle calls for new business!”
