The process was very efficient and I bought via Go Compare. Much easier than Money Supermarket who threw up Legal and General as the chapest but proved to be wrong and a complete waste of time. Home Protect they do have a lot of strict requirements for the pucrhase of house insurance but that I guess is to reduce claims and keep their pricing competitive. Overall the buying process was very quick and efficent .

I hate insurance. This is an industry that prays on the fear of people loosing stuff they never needed in the first place. It is a fantastic way of making a shed load of money from us gullible people that buy into this. I hate dealing in any way with any insurance company because i think you are all faceless people out to fleece us.

Setting was easy although i did have an issue when making a claim. The Boiler guy didn't turn up as there was some kind of misunderstanding regarding the booking. The booking was made on the telephone but the repair man never actually recieved the booking so it wasn't in his diary. Anyway i was re-booked in and my boiler is now working like a dream once again. I also recieved £30 due to having to wait so long which i think was a nice gesture.

My home insurance renewal was due and rather than just accept the renewal, I decided to shop around. I was shocked (but in a very pleasant way) to find that I could get the same cover with HomeProtect for half the cost of my renewal quote. So I had absolutely no issues about moving my business to HomeProtect. The process was straightforward and the e-communications have been been very comprehensive. So, in short, I'm a very happy bunny!

Really annoy with this company, I'm not a Mrs I am Mr, for goodness sake at least trying and get your customer details correct. Clearly won't consider using you again due to this 'admin error' .... Very disappointed.

I still have not received any policy documents nor do I know what I am covered for and what happen to the 14 days cooling off period? ... seriously guys you have a good product and good competitive pricing but shame about the after service . I guess this survey gives customers the opportunity to tell you what's wrong and anyone winning any prize well I guess I am not going to for sure.
