“Great service, great product, great price!”

“I cannot leave a review about Garden Street as I had no contact with them other than the delivery of the item (a Rowlinson Heritage log store), which arrived well packaged and in very good time. However, I would like to review the item which I am pretty disappointed with. Two reviews that I read on the Garden Street website for this specific item both said how easy this product was to construct. I disagree with this entirely. 1). In order for the guarantee to be validated, one has to go out and buy three x treated wooden bearers 50mm x 50mm. Why are these not included? There is no mention of having to buy additional parts until one reads the instructions. 2). Pilot holes for the screws are not pre-drilled. This would not be difficult for the manufacturer to do and would certainly make life much easier for the purchaser. 3). One of the batons provided was to big for the nails. The nails are 30mm and the baton was roughly 27mm. The tip barely came through the baton and certainly was not long enough to fix securely into the roof of the structure.... A second visit to the hardware store to buy a bag of longer nails. 4). The tongue and groove panels had not been fitted together properly on the base. Sloppy workmanship by the manufacturer. Although it is now built and will be used for its purpose, I was extremely disappointed by this product and not at all a satisfied customer I'm afraid.”

“Was pleased with the order and delivery. One thing though curb side delivery is ok if you have someone to help get delivery into property. As I was on my own had to find something to cover it as raining. Was going to just lay it on the parking bay so asked nicely for it to be leaning up the wall. If the delivery man had not done so it would have been damaged. Otherwise thank you all. Pleased.”

“Ordered our Sierra Patio cover at a very competitive price compared to many other retailers. Website user friendly, delivery arranged very quickly although the delivery service used failed to delivery on set date when arrangements were made to erect at the weekend so it will be erected this weekend. This is our second Sierra cover so providing the contents of this one are all ok it will be perfect. The packaging is really good and although not fully unpacked the contents look good.”

“Had to update an earlier review. This company should be regarded as very poor. A month later, no sign of package. Was told it was now going to be here no later than today. Still no sign it is even with a courier. No email, nothing. Yet supposedly it was dispatched on the 3rd of September. Never encountered anything quite like it. if it were out of stock, just say, if it has not been dispatched, just say, but do not give some fake dispatch date etc.”

“Initially delivered to the wrong address. Then delivered to a SECOND wrong address, where I had to collect the goods myself, as the home owner wanted the items off their property ASAP. When I complained they offered their 'apologies'. But not that sorry to compensation for the total lack of service.”
