“I ordered £1000 of patio sunshade, cover and base. Delivered with missing parts so unable to use. Called and emailed and still waiting a response. Not impressed and would not recommend.”

“Overall a good service. A reasonable price, on time delivery and straight forward to put together. There’s a little gapping around the door, it’s not a tight fit, but it does the job and looks neat in the garden.”

“Whilst the purchase of the garden furniture was an easy and straightforward process, the actual delivery sequence was a complete nightmare. The delivery date was set for the 14th of April; this was changed only days before owing to 'issues' (undisclosed). The delivery was scheduled for the following Tuesday; it never arrived and no explanation was given. I then proceeded to make numerous telephone calls and each time I was told delivery would be made. I was also promised a first slot delivery! The first slot turned out to be at 12.15 on the 22nd April, in an empty lorry with a very unfriendly driver. Throughout the process I spent three days at home waiting for a delivery and if I had not made the telephone calls I would have had no idea what was going on as the company's communication skills were zero. Although the furniture is fine my experience will lead me never to buy from this company again.”

“Rang them to confirm delivery times were as stated on website they said yes and so I went ahead and ordered and then delivery time is double what they promised. Usual excuses trotted out. Disappointing.”

“Bought a 3 Bin Tidy Store from Garden St. Good price but if I’d know how long delivery would take I would have ordered from another company. I had to call to check confirm when I could expect delivery. Delivery, by Rowlinson Garden Products, was late (outside the 5 business days quoted). The parts were dumped in my from garden.”

“What has happened to your lovely company?! In previous years it has been so easy to order paint from you online. This time, you don't recognise my address - even though I've put it in several times, do not respond to the chat line - instead, suggesting I might join your mailing list and company website! And I am still no closer to ordering one litre of your lovely peacock paint! Oh dear!”

“I ordered a Shire Hampton corner summer house from Garden Street. And they were excellent. I was kept informed of progress, then I was able to choose my delivery day, all of which kept me informed of where the delivery man was and what time he would be with me. Absolutely delighted. “Delighted with our garden furniture and delivered well within time advised on receipt. Only problem is communication, we were not advised when it was being delivered. As it was 2 full pallets we were lucky that we were at home when van arrived. Reading other reviews the communication seems to be letting the company down. Such a shame as furniture is excellent quality and competitively priced”

“Garden Street where excellent from start to finish. This review may sound odd as I returned the shed I purchased because it wasn't suitable for the space I had in my garden. I received the shed 3 days after ordering and opened the boxes and built up the base but discovered it was far to large for the garden. The quality is excellent. I boxed up the shed and asked for the returns policy. Garden shed collected the shed free of charge and refunded me in full within 2 working days. I will definitely be looking for other items to purchase and I recommend to anybody too purchase from these guys.”
