“All was good a minor defect in seat but I put it right”

“Very well constructed using quality timber. My wife and I decided to put the arbour together in situ as we could not have lifted it when built as it was too heavy. It will last for many years. We are delighted with our new arbour, and it looks great too. The service from Garden Street was excellent.”

“Very happy with furniture but delivery was not good at all. The one man van arrived, pushed heavy boxes out of van then dragged them onto drive. All boxes damaged. Asked him to help put into secure garage, he said not his job. How can one man deliver such heavy furnitre and dump and run. Very very bad.”

“Great online retailer. We bought a shed which arrived quickly. It was of good quality and relatively easy to assemble - although the instructions took a bit of work to interpret in places. Would definitely buy from Garden Street again.”

“Lovely garden table and chairs. Table a bit tricky to put together, holes did not line up so had to re drill holes. However it looks great, delivery very speedy.”

“Unfortunately I ordered a greenhouse in August which still hasn't arrived despite a 14-28 day delivery time advertised. The company delivering/assembling (shire) have been very slow and I still don't have a date for delivery. I would be reluctant to use the site again.”

“Replied promptly to a query about spam email received, assurance given to me about name of carrier. Lovely guy delivered parcel to us. He was on time, witty and a pleasure to speak to. Will use Garden Street again. Thank you”

“Bought a pair of chairs with a bridge insert to act as a table between the two chairs Initial reaction is positive - they're well made, if a little rough around the edges in places but they're going into a garden, not a dining room so not a problem half an hour with the right tools couldn't put right. They're sturdy enough chairs but the bridge price that functions as a "table" doesn't cut it at all, too small, but it'll have a use somewhere no doubt, maybe as a flip up side table on one of the chairs. They look good built, they're really supportive for me and my wife as we're both getting on a bit and like our comfortable chairs, and I'm hoping we get a good few years out of them. Only problem I have, and it's a minor one as the couriers involved updated me on delivery, is that a few days after the delivery was made Garden Street still had my order down as awaiting delivery and I'd received nothing from them as regards a delivery date. I'm sure this is more a problem for them than for me as if this is a regular thing and people are complaining about it, it needs sorting out. Delivery was made within the timeframe stipulated so a plus point for that. Overall, I'm happy enough and have no problem giving Garden Street 5 stars and would recommend them as an option to people looking for no frills rustic furniture”
