They are charging twice the price of other places! I bought Protek shed and fence woodstain (5L) for £21.99 (from Garden Street) and found afterwards that I could get it for £11.16 from David Musson fencing and for £12.60 from Protek themselves. I then looked at Protek Timber Eco shield which I bought from Protek last year - they are asking for £26.40 for 2.5 litres. Not so for Garden Street - they are asking for £34.99 for the same size! I then looked at a bench that I recently bought from Garden Store for £139. Garden street have the same bench retailing for £169 and yet are making out some, if not all, of these items are at reduced prices. I don't recommend you shop with Garden Street. I would go to Protek or David Musson.

Wrong item arrived but wasn’t aware until fitter’s came to build: fitter left but arrived next day and built the item and left it in the middle of the patio. So I wa left with an item I didn’t order and built in the wrong place. When I contacted Garden Street they basically said sorry for the inconvenience but that the way it goes sometimes and we’re not going to replace the item or refund me.

It has been 11 days of a product that when I ordered said was in stock, I have not received it and the order still states awaiting picking, not had any contact saying it will be late and I have a load of fire wood rotting on the ground at the moment

Price very competitive Order process efficient Delivery!! Nightmare waited 20 days and after plenty of emails only 1 of the items arrived! Look forward to receiving rest of my order soon!

When ordered Item was quoted as in stock 1-5 days delivery. It did not arrive. When I contacted you the reply was will be in stock one months time. Asked for refund which did arrive promptly. Would not use you again.

Tried to buy a keter storage box, delivery said 7 days . 3 weeks later nothing,no one replys to calls, emailed asking for refund, they just reply accounts are dealing with this. They've had my money for 1 month now and still trying to get it. Do not use this company. Terrible service.

I ordered a bookcase which said delivery in 5 working days and it didn’t arrive. I was told I was on a priority and would get on the Wednesday. No delivery. Then told Thursday which was 8 working days. It arrived on the Thursday and was damaged so was rejected. Then told I could have a replacement by Monday or Tuesday of the next week. I ordered so I was on holiday from work and could take the delivery. If it was to turn up it would be left outside. Probably in the rain and I that’s as I said if it actually turned up. Tuesday would be 11 working days. Completely unacceptable. Company not interested at all. I’ve asked for a refund.

Very flimsy, takes a long time to put up. No base !! Takes a huge amount if time to adjust once put up. very disappointed!!

Provided what we ordered in good time and looked o`k. But the door joints cant stand the weight of the glass. within hours the doors wont close.

The furniture was promised within 10 working days. After the 10 days and no sign of the furniture, I emailed asking for a delivery update. It turns out the furniture had been ‘lost in transit’ (yeah right) and did not arrive for another 8 days. So 18 working days of the summer without furniture. Not happy at all. Secondly, the cantilever parasol is faulty. After only a week the pole has bent and the parasol is not able fix in position over your table, so any slight wind and the parasol moves away from the place of shade to expose yourself and your guests to full sun every few minutes. When I contacted Garden Street, I was told “ Unfortunately there is nothing we are able to do due to no fault or damage to the product.” Stay clear of this company. All they’re interested in is your money.

Unfortunately, the plastic shed was very poorly designed and nothing fitted properly so I had to return the shed and had a full refund, thanks for giving me refund.

the picnic bench was ordered on the 15th July 2022. Delivered 19th July 2022 in the condition in the photo. Packaging damaged and items projecting out of the packaging. Inspection showed there to be numerous items missing, notably; seats, legs and cross members. Garden seat contacted and replacement bits were to be despatched. Now in the first week of August and no sign of replacement parts or refund or replacement table.

Awful customer service don’t use them I needed a replacement part for a kettler gazebo 2 weeks later and still waiting despite assurances from the customer service manager that he would deal with the issue personally Definitely not worth the few quid I saved by buying from them

Garden Street offer great products at a good price, but they do not offer a great Customer Service if things go wrong. Ordered a BBQ, £850 so a big investment, which was badly damaged on arrival. Item was out of stock so a replacement was not possible. Communication was poor, emails not answered in a timely manner, telephone not answered and answerphone full!! The item arrived on a pallet which had been damaged during transit which led to the item's damage. I was only offered £50 compensation, so I did intend on returning the BBQ as £50 did not cover the damage sustained. However the item was difficult to repackage, and the pallet would not have held it in place, further damage during return was a real possibility with the liability being mine so I was left with no choice other than to reluctantly accept derisory amount, as I could not guarantee the item would arrive without further damage. If you want to take your chances that there will be no problems with whatever you buy, choose Garden Street, but be aware if there are problems, you may regret it!
